I managed to stay single until I was approaching 60 and then I married. To be honest, it's not great whichever option you choose. There are pros and cons either way. If I had my time over again, I'm not sure what I would do. It would probably depend who I met.

I'm not suggesting that female influence should be suppressed. Just that we need a more balanced and inherently fairer law-making process than it is at the moment.

For a start, I wouldn't let women control or unduly influence the law-making process. Both sides need to be considered, if we are to have fair laws for everyone.

To be fair, there has been plenty of toxic masculinity on screens around the globe, there's 007 for a start, but there's plenty of toxic feminism too. Both aspects fuel the battle of the sexes creating the real world problems we are discussing here. It would be great if all the toxicity could be dropped, but TV and movies would probably be a little dull if we did.

My wife use the phrase "You people" to refer to men in general and me in particular. It's as though I've come from a different country or different planet. If it were the other way round, i.e. me referring to women as "you people", huge offence would be taken...
