I dated a deaf 20ish about 2 years ago, she was beautiful and for the life of me I couldn't believe that her being mute/deaf is such a turn off . Let me tell you it had nothing with her being mute, after the 4th date she decides to start planning our wedding, sending me messages every hour on the hour. A bright spot is I did learn how to sign for the most part so hats off me lol
My mom tried the same thing with me growing up, trying to tell me all these about my dad while she would do exactly what he supposedly did. I always wanted to tell my dad what she was doing but the fear she had in me telling me she could get my father arrested at anytime was enough to keep me shut up.
I honestly felt bad about this, no one should feel about themselves like that. Maybe it's the white knight in me but I feel she had a horrible past, I've met someone like this before, she was beautiful but her father was a preacher and made her believe that she was ugly and that she wasn't worth much but her loser brother let me tell you, could do no wrong. I feel this one is bad taste imo. I've seen personally what happens, she takes the beating so the kids don't have too, eventually the boy becomes a man and protects his mom. It's not easy to just get up and leave when you have nothing, I'm not gonna say that she isn't at some fault but would you talk shit on a guy who getting beat up by someone half his weight to protect his daughter ?
