Both scenarios can be true. I can accept that many times, guys misunderstand the consequences of doing/not doing something in a relationship that lead to a breakup.

Music from female rappers are often looked under the lens of making a statement rather than for entertainment because they're so few of them in the industry. Sometimes a song can just be catchy and has fun lyrics to say, and thats ok.

Its a lot easier to gain respect/feel accomplished in modern day compared to in the past. You don't have to be the strongest, fastest, smartest at any particular thing in order to gain it. You don't have to have anyone to conqueror in order to gain respect, if that were still the case we would probably have even more of a problem from men who feel unaccomplished. Even, if you wanted to do something like that, you can still be a part of something competitive that allows you to get a feeling of ab…

I would probably say, that they are treating their romantic interest as platonic friends. They can have a good personality but if they don't show romantic interest nothing will progress. The first scenario is weird, does that really happen often? From my experience, and from peers there's an eventual fizzle in romance if there is no physical contact. In a romantic relationship I thought that would imply both physical and emotional interest. At least for longevity sake.

So if they were just a friend and you weren't having sex, would you be more inclined to have more of an emotional investment in them? In my experience, FWBs works out the further you are friends, just because I become more emotionally invested in my friends as years go by.

The "You're so worthy or it" and similar statements like "you could have any person you wanted" are weird because some of the people close to you may genuinely believe it, but still carelessly say it. I've had people tell me that and I've been guilty of telling some friends that as well (to less hyperbole) because I may have had to much of an emotional belief attached to how I perceive my friends vs. how other people see them, especially in a romantic sense.

Why did you even indulge the behaviour? You complained that you see all these red flags but don't stop the date and save yourself the time. You going home with her validates that she doesn't have to put in any effort on a date. It also shows that even though you were pissed at her, you would look past all those red flags just to smash. You're not an observer seeing her do all this without input, you had the option to either confront her or leave. I hope that you didn't end of paying for those dr…

Also, the amount of people in rural areas are super limited. If you live in a large city, you see a whole spectrum of faces, where you never feel like you see the same person twice, meaning your dating options are always abundant. But when you are in rural American towns where people born and die there your options are not too good.

If you are talking to a woman and the both of you have the end goal to fuck, then neither of you are looking for deep convo. Not saying it can't happen, but chances are neither of you care.

I'd mostly agree, but the guys I talk to at my gym often complain about the maintenance of it and how it takes a certain level of discipline to maintain that physique, which looks increasingly extreme the more cut they are. So I guess the complaints come from a side that regularly deals with maintenance. But that's all within a gym, so someone who probably isn't going as much as they are might not complain as much.

I agree that TRP can remove an overly positive bias, but I think it just as easily replaces it with a negative one, rather than a neutral one. From my experience, I used to see the mentality towards women and their actions as a way to quickly shatter the illusion of women for people who were still stuck the "women are wonderful" effect. But the older the some contributors get (some in their 40s), I see the language doesn't really change and that they still talk like they are 18 and bitter. I agr…

Dudes are online buying bathwater from chicks online. I honestly lie awake at night and think about how far we've come from pretending to be a girl in an MMO to get in game items. I am at the point where I just don't think anything of it and people can do that shit if they want to. If it continues then let it, as long as I'm not doing it then I don't believe I should have a stake in it.

A lot of people are afraid of not being their partner's first pick. I wouldn't casually undermine it or chalk it up to being inexperienced, because this is an issue that married couples go to counseling for. It is a legitimate fear for people because of course, people want to know that the time spent together is not out of obligation. I think of it as if you are really psyched to hang out with your friends and when you call them up their enthusiasm isn't matched with yours. Shit would kinda make…

Posts like the one OP posted hyper idealize teenagers the same way media does. But, the average teen is pretty unremarkable and probably has the same personalities as their friends because that really all they care about.

I would highly doubt that PornHub would do that, considering that Teen is #4. If they were trying to spare someone's feelings then it would be more likely that they wouldn't put it in the Top 10 at all let alone put it as the 4th most popular category. If you also look at the top 10 porn stars googled per month the 5 person in the top ten is probably the most "teen" looking person. Rest are up there in age, i.e. MILFs. To me, when people talk about what's fair in the SMP it is in a collective term, which RP from my understanding, wasn't about the collective but the individual. You absorb the information, apply it, then leave. So pictures like these are for people looking for something to be mad at. Since you're not the dude in the photo then hopefully you're finding ways to be advantaged in the SMP.

The extent of a music conversation isn't keeping up with an artist or trying to find the most obscure musician. If you don't find music an interesting subject then that's on personal taste, not some weird hierarchy of interesting topics.

Advice on the internet can be helpful, but its not all encompassing and there comes a point where some personal decision making needs to come into play. Not every question will be asked and even the answers you come up with will yield varied results. I found that the RP helped with some aspects of my life but not others just because of the impersonality that inherently comes from the internet. forty-ish risk taker with a just out of high school income, I don't do monogamy, and I hurt people for fun. They are independent and live for themselves, sometimes they drink too much and use drugs. The nights out with them are fun. I don't see any of these as "bad", maybe the perception is skewed depending on whether or not you do it. What you're doing is noble, let me start with that. How I see it is you could get an apartment close to your parents, it would be a setback on retirement but that's up to you. I see it more as a parenting/ self-reliance issue. There are a lot of things that can be learned by yourself through google, reading, etc. But there are some lessons that are built upon through having parent like figures. I haven't had any problem with clashing with someone because they acted feminine. I think the reason why some men say things like women and men can't be friends is because its under the pretense that one is always attracted to the other or that the thought/mannerisms of men and women are so drastically different that they can't get along in a non attraction way.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/18 04:28 PM

This won't stop rape or sexual assault. When we take more time to punish than to prevent we effectively ignore the problem by giving ourselves a short lived sadistic satisfaction. Think of murder rates. Yeah we could fry somebody for murder, but then we pat ourselves on the back for a job well done, while many more murders still occur. The same will happen with sexual assault. Yeah we kill the person, effectively stopping them from ever doing it again, but what about the hundreds more who are no…

When I first went to clubs, I approached women, some were accepting, many were rejecting. I would say, my past self would think that its a brutal place. But, just going there purely for the entertainment value made it 100x more fun. If I continued to go to the club with the idea that "at some point, I should go talk to someone new" then I would probably hate them. Depending on why you are going to a club, it could be both.

The idea of teaching men not to rape is reprimanding a whole gender for a grievous stereotype that people assume. Which, is all based on a section of men who have serious mental issues. Implying that men need to be taught to control their urges ignores the larger issue that is that people who rape are fucked up. It also hurts women by fear mongering. It pushes the narrative that your boyfriend had to be explicitly taught not to rape you, which is a scary thought. And to top it all off, it wouldn…

As as counter, I would say that most men do not think of being "alpha" or "beta" during their normal day. They are probably thinking of... normal day activities (work, errands, exercise, etc.). The men who chose to take that pill would be happier, but I would say that wouldn't be a large market. I would make the argument that if they chose to take the pill to lower sex drive, they were not having a lot of sex in the first place, so it wouldn't really affect women that much since there will still be plenty of men.

The endgame is what ever you make it to be. If you are happy with being what you describe a single parent with a woman-child sure do that. But, me personally, spinning plates till I die isn't that sustainable for me and being someone who has to constantly hold their partner's hand through everything is also unappealing, cause I would want some alone time eventually. Clingy-ness is not a good personality to have (man or woman).

I will say that PPD greatly underestimates the value of friendships. When I see posts implying that happiness/validation only comes from attracting the opposite sex, it actually confuses me. The media does sometimes force an opinion to inorganically form in public opinion, but it is faced with backlash (think BLM, Trans-acceptance, etc.). Eventually, pandering has been known to temporarily have traction, but it quickly loses it as you already isolate a potential market, and drive undecideds away in favor of already gained support. You only say that because that is what you are perceiving through media, which undoubtedly makes things seen as bigger than they are. Bustles were a sign of wealth and were a status symbol for women. And even after its decline in the 19th century it wasn't a sign that phat ass women were on a decline. That whole hourglass figure was a largely popular craze with models, was replaced by the Heroin chic look in the 90s and went back to Sir Mix Alot's preferences.

This is a good quality way to get an understanding on conversation topics. I would also add that the best conversations progress from is grounded to more abstract topics. If you ask someone a more personal question like "what are their dreams and how they are pursuing them", people may look at you a little funny, but you will be surprised to how much they open up to that question. That will also bring very organic conversation.

Attraction, to me, is on an either "yes" or "no" basis. Where you either think a person is attractive or unattractive, looks, personality, and status all play a role in determining that. But, I don't think leagues exist because good looks varies from person to person. It's true that Feminism doesn't represent all women. However, to say that Feminism doesn't politically represent women at large appears to me to be counter-factual. That brings up a problem since there is so many branching ideologies. It can't represent women unless there is one collective voice, and not mumbles of different things.

But, I do identify more with the small section that post things about self improvement as it relates to yourself and not necessarily towards relationships and women. I don't hate the other "branches" because my experiences are different and what works for them may not work…

I would say that the larger part of society (at least in where I live in the US) tend to ignore the whole SJW internet movement. I haven't seen it in a full wave that made a huge change to society, since people either just shrug it off or they just don't care to know enough about it. I honestly haven't seen it extend past the internet or college campuses. But, this is entirely my anecdote.

The first issue I understand, but the second one can be fixed, there are stronger forms of male contraceptives (albeit some are still not widespread) but vasectomies are an option (some insurance pay for them, as well as reversals in case you ever want kids).

Shit tests are everywhere, but not everything is a shit test. Teasing is shit testing in many cases because you are trying to get a reaction, either from the person you're teasing, or a group of friends. Say your boss notices you wear a new tie: If he/she compliments it, then its probably not a shit test and you should just take the compliments and go back to what you are doing. If they tease you for it, then they are either doing it to flex power over you or create friendly banter, either way t…

The guy is not nearly as smooth as he thinks he is and makes someone uncomfortable. This can range from direct sexual comments off the bat, to butt touching or waist touching etc. When you assume that you are not jumping the gun when you do any of these things, you are setting yourself up to be labeled. Because you would immediately be invasive. Bold actions can have sexual undertones but it doesn't mean going after someone's ass on the first swoop.

In this situation, I don't see why you can't have your cake and eat it too. I don't really see the idea behind putting in time and effort into hooking up. Dating apps have virtually taken that away, and even if you don't set up anything with anyone you haven't put in too much commitment. You can enjoy your current lifestyle as well as hook up when ever you feel like it with things like male contraceptives.

Why would you assume that destroying it would be better? If anything if there is nothing left. People will just cling to what is familiar to them and just try to rebuild what is gone without making any considerable difference.

I watched the movie on Netflix and one of the narratives is that of a single father living with his son. He talks about how in the beginning that he couldn't connect with his son initially, because he didn't really know how to respond to his son being "sensitive", ultimately grew more accustomed and even found ways to connect with him. Which brings up an interesting issue about father/son interactions. It made me think about if sacrificing some form of stoicism, and hardness was a necessary for …

There are other father figures, I don't necessarily think thugs are the most likely. Other male family members, neighbors, and maybe some teacher can take up that role. Coaches are underestimated influences on teenagers. I would say they do better than guidance counselors because they don't patronize a kid for being fatherless.

I think the hate stems from the content that is posted, which is more of showcasing RP content and satirizing it, at least this is what I have gathered from r/thebluepill (which even says its satire). Which actually confuses me a bit, because I still not sure if BP is a direct counter thought to RP or if its just content made to joke about it (I have seen both types of content)

That's a very good point, both personalities could easily be a side to the same coin. Someone getting caught in their feelings can become really clingy really fast. And based on the same thoughts and a different mindset, the exact opposite effect can happen, where a person becomes emotionally numb because of their feelings.

Do we go for the healthy baby in the rented flat or risk no baby by waiting for the mortgage or the house? This statement really bugs me because it's such an ultimatum that isn't even that clear cut. I see what you are saying, but its not that they don't know its fake, its just something that they wish for. Men and women do this alike, which is why you probably hear stories about relationships on the internet where you could probably see as a lame highschool film project romance movie. A man may hear this reinforcement when his…

Electronic devices in general have a strong pull on people. I actually went through a point where I was thinking "I would never get addicted to drugs, alcohol, etc." but didn't even once think about me on my phone or computer or game system. I fully admit that I am addicted. Hanging out with friends does curve it a bit, but it doesn't help at all when conversation goes silent and people pull out phones.

I would say the context of the situation you created was very important. Because the scenario is a situation where the attention is not the person. Say instead of them watching something in a bar say they were at a tailgate before heading into stadium. They wouldn't be low-key, they would be louder and more boisterous. Also number has an important factor, 4 guys on a couch is, I agree, way more low energy but increasing the number to 8 or 10 and it would be a louder vibe.

But, my problem is that the point system is not representative of the severity of deviating from the norm. Someone who is overweight is less likely to have everyone in the room say "yes" while someone who was Hispanic but fit wouldn't. Also take the US standards for a second, in 2014 the CDC reported that 70% of the US was overweight to obese (Adults 20 and over). If that was the norm would that change the system in any way?

Within reason of course, even though you don't report or take in extra work from them, you don't want to tell higher ups to fuck off. Like you said, its case by case, but a good way to understand is to read what your employee contract says in terms of who you are reporting to. A lot of companies also have an org chart, which visually tells you which branch you are working, and under who you are working for.
/r/TheRedPill15/06/17 03:14 PM

I would also add that you shouldn't let yourself be cornered by someone just because they are higher on the totem. A lot of employees will try to flex their power over newer members. Early on, some men forget that they only have to report to their boss, not someone who just has a higher position.

All of these articles have common theme of wanting dominant men who know they are the shit. But they can't describe that personality without using the word bad boy. Being confident in yourself is a huge turn on, but that's not a bad boy characteristic. Give a women a man who nonchalantly breaks things when they go to a restaurant and then their attitude will change. Women want men who know their worth and are feeling themselves. On that note, being a needy son-bitch isn't a good trait.

Your last statement doesn't match up to the conclusion I've drawn from the article.
