This article neatly summarizes what she did for Jeff. Without her, it can be argued, that Amazon would've never taken off, so it seems justified that she gets to keep 25% of the stock they both owned while married.

She was instrumental to the growth of Amazon, to the point where, if she wasn't involved, Amazon probably wouldn't be the behemoth it is today. On top of that, he's not giving anywhere near half, only 25%, which seems quite fair, maybe even a bit generous towards Jeff, as he's also keeping 100% of WaPo and Blue Origin.
