How many women make as much money as she expects her boyfriend to make?

I think people should do what they want and stop judging people who make a different choice.

Today, the phrase “pick me” generally is used by women to mean , “woman who doesn’t hate men.” It’s sad that so many women see any display of love from a woman towards a man to be weakness.

You said pursuing a man doesn't feel natural to you. But you seem to be implying that it would feel natural to men. But if men deal with the same sorts of problems that you did, then why would it feel any more natural to them? And if it doesn't feel natural to men or women, then why don't they just split the difference and have women be just as likely to ask men out on first dates as men are to ask women out on first dates?

Don’t you think men also want to know if a woman is interested in him before asking her out? Why is he always expected to make the first move?

They say that, but if a man made them choose whether to be raped or killed, survival instinct will kick in and they will do anything to avoid being killed, including be raped.

It is sad that she is using you for money, though. If people want an open relationship, that’s their choice, but men should seek women who are willing to pay as much into the relationship as the men are. Otherwise it is a one sided relationship where the man will end up with a larger chunk taken out of their bank account.

There are lots of women who will have sex with rich men in exchange for gifts even if he’s fucking other women. You often see rich men or celebrities with multiple female groupies.

The insult “incel” today is what the insult “virgin” was five years ago. Just a way to suggest that men’s only value is based on how much sex they have.

The Kens have no jobs and no positions of power. It's hinted that they don't even have houses. Women in America don't live like that. I know there are some countries where they are treated badly, but the West has made a lot of improvements over the last 200 years. But to your larger point, I do believe that there are many gender issues that women face, even in America. Dealing with issues that men face doesn't mean you can't also deal with issues that women face. It isn't a competition. Both gen…

It is true that more men could vote (though if everyone voted, women would still have a higher percent of the power since there are more women). However, the fact of the matter is that women tend to vote more than men so women tend to have more influence on government policy than men. If a legislature passes a law that the people don't like, then they vote against the members of the legislature who passed the law and put new members in who will vote to repeal the law. The people are the ultimate…

Fortunately, I have not heard very many women say such things. I haven't read every Feminist or women's group website, so I can't tell for sure about how many women have made genocidal statements like that. I occasionally hear women say "kill all men" (which is actually worse), but that too is rare. But every group has the chance to go extreme so it is important to stay vigilant.

Three percent is still three percentage points more power than men have. The fact remains that women have more influence over who gets elected than men do. Okay, I will admit that America's political system gives more power per capita to people who live in states with smaller populations, but again that's favoring people in states with small population more so than politicians from states with small populations. The politicians from states with small populations have no power if the people stop …

So you are saying that because the Barbies treated the Kens as second class citizens at the beginning of the movie, this caused the Kens to revolt? Yes, that's true, but it doesn't explain why the Barbies didn't learn their lesson. After the Barbies took over again, they went right back to treating the Kens as second class citizens, refusing them even one seat on the Supreme Court. You'd think that the Barbies would have learned what it was like to be second class citizens based on their (admitt…

I think he is talking about the same women changing their opinion of him, not different women he met later. But I do agree with your overall point. I think that I missed the second to last sentence in the original post when I read it. I could understand if he didn't want to date someone who is only interested in him now that he looks better. But I agree with you that lying to them or playing them is going too far.

How could he not notice that people were more interested in him after he worked out? It's kind of hard to ignore if people respond very differently to you depending on your looks. I agree that it is important to work on yourself. But what he said was similar to the body positivity movement among women that says that you shouldn't judge yourself based on the society's view of beauty.

MGTOW doesn't believe in fatherhood or marriage. That isn't true for the Red Pill population as a whole. Basically, Red Pill is just saying that the best way to get a partner is to be as stereotypically masculine if you are a man and as stereotypically feminine if you are a woman. That can easily lead to some problematic conclusions, but I don't think it is necessarily opposed to Preger U style Conservatives.

I think a more fair comparison is what percentage of incels kill versus what percentage of Islamic radicals kill. The quote about porn seems to be about men in general, not about incels. So incels may want a relationship even though they have porn because porn isn't enough for them. I do think it is important to remember that just because a man isn't having sex and wishes he was doesn't make him violent. There are some men who become violent, but most men just fall into depression if they want a…

It should be noted, though, that the majority of voters are women, at least within the United States. So the majority of people who decide who is in office are female. That's more powerful than the legislatures themselves.

I think it is because society expects men to be the ones to ask women on dates, so men by the nature of the game are the ones that get rejected. A woman who never asks men on dates never gets rejected to her face. And there is a large percentage of women (likely a sizable majority) who have never been the first one to ask a man on a date. So they don't really have to deal with rejection in the same way. So you have men who have to deal with far more rejections since they are the ones expected to…

I disagree with the OP above, because I understand why people are more attracted to people who are in shape and not overweight. But at the same time, I understand that viewing personality as more important than looks doesn't make him a misogynist. If a woman said that she distrusted men who only became interested in her after she became thinner, I doubt you'd call her a man hater.

I think the Barbie movie can't decide whether it thinks sexism is good or bad. The main Barbie goes into the real world and is taught that women are mistreated, yet then turns around and tries to push the Kens in her world back into second class citizenship. The movie seems very confused about what message it is trying to send.
/r/MensRights24/07/23 04:15 AM
2

I just asked you to be consistent in your point. You keep flipping your opinion on whether movies affect people or not.
/r/MensRights24/07/23 03:53 AM
1

So at first you were arguing that the Barbie movie is just a movie so we shouldn't get upset about it. Now you are arguing that movies do actually have an effect on people's views of life. Can you pick a single argument and stop flipping sides depending on what movies we are talking about? Also, if the dad is bumbling, the wife's complaints are presented as more reasonable to the audience. So that isn't a fair comparison.
/r/MensRights24/07/23 03:41 AM
2

Are you joking? For the past 40 years or more, it has been common for TV shows to have the bumbling father and the more responsible wife who has to put up with it. When have women consistently been shown as dumb in TV shows and media?
/r/MensRights24/07/23 03:24 AM

It is good that both her and Mary Daly are dead. But we do have to make sure that such genocidal thinking doesn't become more common in society.
/r/MensRights24/07/23 03:19 AM

But they made the main Barbie and the mother and daughter, who are presented as the good side, fight to put the Kens back into second class citizenship. They can't claim that they are trying to fight against sexism when the main characters, who the director clearly wants the viewers to like and support, are the ones doing it.
/r/MensRights24/07/23 03:08 AM
2

Dude, Feminists complain about how women are portrayed in movies all the time. Can you link a comment here with an example of where you've criticized a Feminist for that? If not, then you are being hypocritical. If you are going to make that criticism, you need to actually be consistent and I haven't seen that from you yet.
/r/MensRights24/07/23 02:59 AM
3

The movie clearly treats the main Barbie and the mother and daughter as the good side. Yet they end up fighting to put the Kens back into the position as second class citizens. It's nice that they told Ken to make his own identity, but the movie makes clear at the end that the Kens are still second class citizens who can't even get one seat on the Supreme Court. If this movie is supposed to be arguing that sexism is bad, then why do they have the side that the director wants you to identify with…

There are plenty of movies and TV shows that Feminists complain about. Do you tell Feminists that they shouldn't criticize entertainment media even if it's sexist?
/r/MensRights24/07/23 02:31 AM
2

I don't think you watched the film very closely. The film promotes the idea that women aren't treated equally and that's a bad thing, yet it has the Barbies, the supposed "good" side, refusing to give the Kens even one seat on the Supreme Court. So, yes, it is being hypocritical about what it is saying.
/r/MensRights24/07/23 02:30 AM

If a Transformers movie came out about women being treated as second class citizens, rebelling, and having to be put back into second class by the Transformers, how do you think women would respond to that? I doubt a movie like that would ever be released because of the blowback it would create from society calling sexist. Why should you be surprised if there is similar blowback to the Barbie movie?
/r/MensRights24/07/23 02:26 AM
2

But why didn't the main Barbie and the mother and daughter do more to speak out for the Kens given that they supposedly realize how important gender equality is? And shouldn't the other Barbies have known how bad it is to be second class citizens because of the time they spent with the Kens in control? Why didn't any of the Barbies think about how they were doing to the Kens the exact same thing that the male characters did to women? The message seems to be "women suffered and worked hard to gai…

Because when a woman is violated on screen due to her gender, it is pretty much always put forward as a bad thing, not a joke. Men (as a whole) today don't actively seek to keep women out of positions of power. But in the Barbie movie, they do keep the Kens out of power. If the movie presented this as a bad thing, then it would be okay. But it seems to present it as the Kens having to work to gain positions of power just like women had to work in the real world, despite the fact that the Kens of…

You are missing the point. It isn't that the Kens that the story focuses on don't have important jobs or political positions. It's the fact that NO Kens in the entire Barbie world do, either at the beginning of the movie or at the end. The entire point of the scene about them not being allowed on the Supreme Court is to show this. If a movie had a female character ask that one member of the Supreme Court be female and was refused, would you say "well, all women are secondary characters in this m…

I don't think you paid very close attention to the movie. The Kens never had any important jobs or political positions at the beginning of the movie and at the end they were refused even one seat on the Supreme Court of their world. If you don't understand how the Kens were supposed to be second class citizens in the movie, then I don't trust your movie reviewing abilities.

Something fun can still be sexist. How do you think people would react to a movie that treated women as second class citizens as a funny joke?
/r/MensRights23/07/23 04:17 AM

When it comes to female sexuality, the left and the right like to flip sides depending on the day. Sometimes the left will say "women should be free to express their sexuality" while the right says "women being sexual outside marriage will turn them into whores who have no respect for family values". And other times the left will say "culture is degrading women by treating them as sexual objects" and the right will say "we should stand up against cancel culture and political correctness when it …

At first I just thought you disagreed with me about rating the movie online, but you've posted on a bunch of posts on this subreddit about several issues, all of them negative toward the poster, meaning that you seem to believe that it is wrong for men to talk about gender issues at all. Are you really a good fit for this subreddit if you don't believe that there are any gender issues that affect men worth talking about?
/r/MensRights23/07/23 02:44 AM

Who said that quote? Was it someone involved with producing the movie? Or was it someone reviewing the movie? Look, I could see that interpretation, but I think the movie clearly wanted people to look up to the main Barbie and the mother and daughter in the movie, but they seemed only to be concerned when the Kens were in control. When the Barbies got in control again, the main Barbie and the other protagonists no longer seemed to care about the gender imbalance. The movie wasn't trying to say t…

The people who read my post know what happens in the movie. Isn't that enough information to rate the movie? Why do you have to sit through the entire movie when you already know enough information about it to rate it? Do you think people's opinions would change if they watched it?
/r/MensRights22/07/23 03:24 PM

Why? Pointing out that a movie promotes a sexist message seems to be a fair point. You know that the Feminist sites would have no problem pointing out movies they found sexist.
/r/MensRights22/07/23 03:20 PM

Okay, but that doesn't apply if what they write isn't true. It isn't about privacy. It's about whether what they write is true or not. Libel laws aren't as strong in the US as other places, but they do exist. You can't purposefully lie about people without risking criminal penalties.

Also, don't many dating sites have your last name listed on them? If the women post links to people's dating sites, then it would make it easier for random people to find you. That's bad in one way (more likely to be harassed), but good in another since it means that men would be more likely to find out if their profile is being linked to on the site. That would motivate more men to push to get the sites taken down (or to join similar sites where women are rated, which would motivate women to wa…

Right, but the groups I'm talking about, the "Are We Dating the Same Guy?" groups, usually have a city name after them. So you just have to search in the ones that are for your city or your area. Don't bother searching all the rest since no one who you would date is going to search in those other groups anyway since they are supposed to just be men from other areas where she doesn't live.
/r/MensRights10/04/23 02:53 AM

Well, we'll see how long it takes them to figure that out. We might even get lucky and the dating sites they link to won't show the man's image properly in the preview, which would mean people would need to click on each link in order to see the picture, something people might not be willing to do if they have to search through a long list of people, even if it is people of the same first name. But for now, we might be able to cut out the less creative abusers by just filing copyright claims on …

I'm busy for much of April, but after that I might have more time to help. However I don't have any real experience with the ChatGPT4 algorithm (other than using the Chat GPT website), so I don't know if I'd be of any help anyway.
/r/MensRights10/04/23 02:30 AM

There are "Are We Dating the Same Girl" groups, but they are smaller and thus have less reach. Plus, each group is only open to one gender, so the women who are trying to look you up to see if you are a good date aren't going to have access to the group about women. They wouldn't think to even look in a group about women anyway since they are trying to date men. It is better just to get rid of these groups entirely.
/r/MensRights10/04/23 02:28 AM
2

Maybe you got lucky and either the woman took it down or it is lost among the other posts so no one will ever find it, so you don't need to worry about it. I know each city has their own group. Which city page are you a part of?
/r/MensRights10/04/23 01:41 AM
6

Did you work with them while they searched? Maybe you could help them find it. They might just be using the wrong key words. And if they honestly can't find it, then presumably the women in the future you are trying to date won't be able to find it either, so it might work out for you.
/r/MensRights10/04/23 01:38 AM

Have you tried the copyright claim, though? It would only work on photos of you, but I want to know if people have more luck with that than just reporting the page or the individual posts.

So if men don't know what women talk about among themselves, then how the hell do you know what men talk about among themselves? You seem to be making a lot of negative assumptions about men when you don't know what they talk about in private. Also, you didn't post your real name and Facebook page. If you can find friendly people in the group, they can put positive comments on your pictures on the site and they can report it to Facebook for harassment. Each post has a way to report to Facebook if you click on the drop down menu. They shouldn’t report to the admins of the group because that might just get them kicked out of the group.

The "are we dating the same guy" groups don't let you join if you are a man. The groups are private so you can't even see the posts unless you are in them. So you either need to get a woman to join for you and let you see the posts or you need to make a fake profile with a female name and picture that would fool the moderators. The moderators might not even let in a woman if she has her friends list private so as to keep fake accounts out. I'm not sure. I'll try creating a fake account and see w…

I'm wondering what would have happened if the British had decided just to keep Hong Kong. Yes, they signed a lease, but I believe that was only for certain sections of the city. If they had decided they were going to keep Hong Kong, I don't know that China would have risked taking it over since Britain could have called in all of its NATO allies, including the United States, to declare war on China since Britain could argue it was a defensive war. Now I don't know what Men's Rights would have lo…

I agree. I think it is important to choose a few key issues that see the most success of being enacted and focus on those. There are many issues in Men's Rights that I agree with, but which are very unpopular, so I don't want to get bogged down on them in the political sphere. But I know that there are many men that would like paternity tests done automatically at birth so that could potentially be one issue that could be pushed forward since it is harder to argue that any particular woman is be…

I understand that you wouldn't like a man doing something like a paternity test without telling you. But think of it this way: if you are okay with making an agreement from the beginning of the relationship to get a paternity test because that agreement is made before he really knows you, then doing that same thing but not telling the girlfriend should be fairly similar. Getting a paternity test doesn't mean he doesn't trust you. It is just something that he decided he needed from the very begin…

Yeah, you get a LOT of that if you go onto the original post that I linked to. And I worry that they might try to limit access to paternity tests in the future, the same way they've been limited in France and (I learned today) in Hong Kong. Still, I would have thought that the Chinese government would be more conservative on social issues and wouldn't be trying to spread Feminist views. But what if 95% of women refuse to date you if you want a paternity test for any child born? You are open minded enough to be willing to take one so long as it is decided upon ahead of time. But I worry that most women wouldn't be. So if 95% of women would refuse to date you if you asked for a paternity test for any children born, then that only leaves you with 5% of women left. About one out of every thirty births is of a child where the man who thinks he is the biological father actually isn't. I'm sure that many of those men thought that they could trust their wives too. This idea that men can tell for sure whether their wives will cheat is a myth. Even seemly happy wives sometimes cheat. It is impossible to select a woman as a wife who is 100% not going to cheat. I know France has that rule, but you can order the test in Spain or another nearby country, bring the test back to France, do the test, send it back the company in Spain, and then get the results delivered to someplace private. That's certainly better than asking her while she's pregnant or after the child is born. Yes, but it can still be changed in court. Some states and countries are better than others, of course, but don't give up hope just because some woman claims you are the father of a child. If you really want to be safe, I guess you could freeze your sperm, get a vasectomy and then just use the frozen sperm if you wanted to have a kid. But you'd have to make sure to require a special password. I heard of a case where a woman got a divorce then forged her ex husband's signature, got his sperm, and…

Vasectomies are amazing...assuming you don't want kids. But there are many men who do want kids or who many want them in the future and thus shouldn't get a vasectomy (or at least should freeze their sperm first). The point of the paternity test is to keep you from being tricked into raising some other guy's kid. But most men who take paternity tests are hoping that the kid will be theirs because they want kids.

Unfortunately, it only takes one parent to sue a website for not requiring their visitors to show ID. If the courts in the area where the website is based require the website to pay damages as decided by the courts where the parents are based, then they would have to pay. Which is stupid because the parents are to blame for not putting parental controls on their kids phones.
/r/MensRights11/03/23 06:29 PM

The law allows parents to sue the company who put up the website (even though it is the parents' fault in the first place for not putting parental controls on their child's phone). So it would depend on whether the country that the website is based in is willing to force the company to pay what the American court case requires them to. If the company is based in another US state, I worry that that state will make them pay.

People are able to influence their governor's actions more than the court's actions. That is why I suggested contacting the governor now before he signs it. If he signs it, then it may go to the courts, but there is very little that people can directly do to influence the result of the court case.

The law doesn't block any sites. It just allows people whose children view porn to sue any site that doesn't require visitors to enter their personal information to view the site, provided they could prove their child visited that site. It's easy to stop 12 year olds from visiting these sites by just having parents upload parental controls onto their computers and phones. There is literally no need for this law. So the law allows parents to sue the companies when the parents are the ones to blam…

While you are correct, this is a good example of why abortion rights for women are better than no abortion rights. Under the current system, if contraception fails, a woman can decide not to have a child whereas a man can't unless the woman agrees with him. Is this sexist? Absolutely! But do you know what's worse? If there is no choice of abortion at all. Now men only have to convince the woman in order to avoid having a child before they are ready. I think that if there is an accidental pregnancy and either the man or woman does not want a child, then there should be a legally required abortion. But Lesbians are almost certainly more likely to have children that are biologically related to one of them because all they need is a sperm donor rather than a surrogate. Thus it is easier for the lesbian who is a biological mother to divorce because she is likely to get custody. In gay male couples, it is much more difficult to predict who will get custody, thus making gay men less likely to divorce.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/19 06:29 AM

Because it isn't about the money, it's about custody. Women know that if they divorce their husband then over 90% of the time they will get custody. I've read many accounts of men who want to leave a marriage, but don't want to lose custody of their children and thus stay married so that they can see their kids everyday. Women know that if they get divorced then they will still be with their children most of the time, thus allowing them to initiate divorce more frequently.
