I know it happens.. and this sub is hardly an unbiased source of examples. But it's not like it happen 10/10 times.

Sometimes men step in and stop fights involving women and everything is fine. Those videos just don't get shared as much. It's like the number of police brutality videos online vs the number of peaceful police interaction videos.

Not hating all women =/= believing all women... You're making little sense. I'm cautios about the women I enter into close relationships, which is just common sense, but just giving up and condemning all women for the actions of a few is so wrong.
/r/MensRights06/10/22 10:08 AM

That does happen. It also doesn't happen in other situations.

Whether or not I, personally, have done this is besides the point. It's about whether or not people should help, ideally. I think you should help, regardless of the gender of the person attacked, instead of filming like a twat. Now I know that there would be situations where you helping would be virtually redundant, but I don't think this video is one of them.
/r/MensRights06/10/22 10:04 AM

That's fucked, sure. I'm not suggested people should get up and start swinging on the muggers, though. But people wouldn't even have to get physical, necessarily. If someone just got between it would probably deter them somewhat.
/r/MensRights06/10/22 09:59 AM

That's rich coming from someone who apparently enjoys watching teen girls get assaulted.
/r/MensRights06/10/22 09:57 AM
-3

There's a ton of eye witnesses. You'd probably be fine. And even if not, does that make it okay to just sit idly by and do nothing? I'm not saying that everyone should jump in, but it's clearly the right thing to do. Not sit around and film it while yelling "WoRld StaR" like an ingrate.
/r/MensRights06/10/22 07:26 AM

You don't have to. But it's the decent thing to do.
/r/MensRights06/10/22 07:19 AM

Except that a man, in this particilar situation, would be 100 times more effective at helping. You're just twisting the mothers words to justify being a cunt.
/r/MensRights06/10/22 07:00 AM

Men standing up for themselves too much for you? people sitting on their ass doing fuck all to help someone getting attacked is too much for. You idiots are so desperate to make everything about gender. It's just decency. You don't have to throw your life away for anyone, but gtfoh with pretending that these dicks who are filming are doing something noble and just thing...
/r/MensRights06/10/22 06:58 AM

Keep trying to justify being a pussy.
/r/MensRights06/10/22 06:55 AM

Cuz those people ignore the needs of men all the time. Those same women who would be offended if a man approached them and talked to them, don't get to demand that they put themselves into harms way. You don't know the first fucking thing about these two girls. You choose to assume that they hater men, so you can justify hating women. No. They're collecting evidence for the police. Okay, so maybe one person films, while others help like decent human beings. Besides there's literally a train car …
/r/MensRights06/10/22 06:52 AM

That's pathetic. But you call it whatever you need to call it to feel better about yourself.
/r/MensRights06/10/22 06:48 AM
-11

10 people mugging 2 people aren't "beating on each other". You can try to justify sitting idly by as much as you want. At the of the day you're letting an innocent person get assaulted. I wouldn't really blame someone for not getting involved in something like this if they were afraid, but trying to justify it with bullshit like "women deserve it" is just pathetic. Plain as.

I think forums like this sub are important, but it's getting ridiculous with these posts just straight up using any excuse to shit on women. I'm not surprised that some women look at this sub and think it's an unwelcome place. Thank you for speaking some truth. We need to help each other.
/r/MensRights05/10/22 08:31 PM

A man wouldn't get in much trouble for stepping in here, stop spewing this nonsense.
/r/MensRights05/10/22 08:22 PM
-2

"People are expected to help prevent other people from getting mugged, instead of filming them like assholes" would be a better title tbh. Don't make gender an issue where it isn't. I would be furious that no one helped, if I knew these girls.
/r/MensRights05/10/22 08:20 PM
-17

I get what your saying. Really I do. But why would you advocate for sitting by idly and not helping a couple of people in need? I don't give a crap about their gender. I would like to think that I'd step in and help out in this situation. People who pull out their phones and film while people are getting assaulted are scum. No ifs, ands or buts about it. People should've stepped in.

There's a lot of conflict between what feminists say they stand for, and what they seem to stand for through their actions. I choose to weigh the actions of feminism higher than their words.

No point in arguing with you anymore at this point.

Bro... what? We need the balance of both sexes. It's the same dumb logic that radical feminists use to dream of a world without men and how it would be a world without problems. It wouldn't. Just like it wouldn't the other way around. We need equal amounts of men and women in the world (read: order and chaos, respectively). Too much of one or the other would backfire terribly. I feel like it's people like you, who (apparently) sees woman solely as reproductive/romantic/sexual means, that tend to…

I was not refering to the fact that women rape as well. That is obviously true. I was refering to the only thing you didn't touch upon. If you think that women would literally compete over who could rape the most, then you might want to reevaluate some things. Edit: I just noticed that you wrote that there wouldn't be competition. My bad, friend.

We wouldn't last long without women either.
/r/MensRights20/09/22 05:24 AM

The number would also go down, since men do rape women. None of the comments in the screenshot were really wrong. Except maybe that the world could run the same without men. I don't see that happening.

Notice some of the words they use: "Model", "social media star". Bruh, she makes smut on OF, showing her ass and titties, yet they try to make her seem like she's this innocent little sunflower... she literally killed another human being.

Well, I figured it meant "all females are bastards". Guess the "f" is for feminists. I'm not a fan of the feminist movement as a whole, in part because of the nutcases showcased in these pictures, but I stand by my comment. All people who define themselves as a feminist, are in a fact not bad people. The label is very broad. It's like holding a run-of-the-mill conservative responsible for the KKK, or a run-of-the-mill democrat responsible for Antifa.

You're beyond retarded. You're basically the male equivalent of a FemaleDatingStrategy poster. Because I don't hate all women I'm a simp? I feel like my IQ is dropping simply by entertaining conversation with you. We have nothing more to talk about. Edit: Just realised that you're not the guy I was talking to, but you're seemingly not too bright yourself.

I'm just chiming in to say you are absolutely correct, my friend. It's a shame how this sub is at times. This is blown way out of proportions, but people want to feel like the world is against them, much like radical feminists..

Look, we don't know shit about what kind of people those guys were. Maybe they were regular dudes, maybe they had bad intentions, we simply don't know. Using this story to imply the villifying of men in groups seems off. As a dude, if I see a large group of shady guys I get cautious as well. It has a lot to with their attitude.

This is just pedantic at this point. The point is I merely asked him whether I had understood him correctly. I guess that's an assumption. But then I also indirectly assumed that I could be wrong in my assumption, by asking for confirmation. check your - votes for more context on how you’re being received. Really? This means virtually nothing, once you get a few up- or downvotes a lot of people stop being able to read the comments objectively. It is what it is. I'm not afraid of being wrong, it'…

All right, let's have a look at the comment shall we? Not all women, but enough women. (Seriously though, most children who are killed are killed by their own mothers). Not all women, but enough women "Not all, but enough" - now the amount he (or she, whatever) refers to is "enough", which is very vague. This could techically mean anything between 0,1 % - 99,9 % of women. Depending on what the commenter though was enough. So I asked for clarity before assuming. The fact that he follows up by sta…

Well I know for a fact that that's not true, and for the last time, you fucking donuts, I asked him if that was what he meant, which he still hasn't confirmed or denied so all of this is moot. If that's not what he meant then what's the fucking problem? If I misunderstood, then we all agree anyways. But if it was what he meant, then he's a sad idiot, and so is anyone who agrees with him. Again, only if he really believes that many women are likely to murder their fucking kids.. lol how are we ev…

Venting and claiming that all women are shitty (not what the comment said, but I've seen quite a few comments like that) are two very different things. I just think it's a gross generalization and it's good for very little. I can't control what my question "reads like" to you. However, I'll say that I did have a bit of an accusatory tone, because he seemed to claim that many women were potential child killers (not all, but many), which in my estimation is a very confrontational thing to say. The…

I don't quite get it either. I feel like I've been nothing but rational lol. It a shame because if someone, who's on the fence about mens right advocates, were to visit this sub and see this, they might think that we're all this way..

I literally asked the commenter a question so as not to draw conclusions before I was certain that I understood the comment properly. Fuck me, right? I'm not sure about the point of your comment either. Are you claiming that I'm one of those "undercover" female trolls? I'll remind you that my criticism of the comment was in regards to if they claimed that a lot of women killed their children. I happen to believe that that is not the case. And if that's not what was meant, then we'll go from ther…

I get what you're saying, but if you start treating people as their worst potential, that's a recipe for disaster. We have to be careful going down that path. It's like calling for all men to be "taught not to rape". That assumes that most, if not all men are secretly rapists. I don't believe that. Just as I don't believe that most women are likely to murder their children. The people who do these terrible things are an extreme minority. The vast majority of men are fairly nice, decent people, a…
/r/MensRights22/06/21 09:17 AM

Okay, I get you. But I also put "likely to" in my comment. It sounds to me like the original comment was hinting that a lot of women were child murderers. I don't believe that. It's disingeuous to claim such a thing. It's the equivelant of the "all (most) men are rapists" bullshit. It's a path that one shouldn't tread lightly. At times this sub seems to forget that and instead just stoop to the level of radical feminists. Which is very sad to see.
/r/MensRights22/06/21 09:11 AM

Geez, read my damn comment. I asked a question, I didn't say anything about what I believe. But yes, of course women are also capable of murder, I thought that went without saying...

/r/MensRights06/06/21 09:07 PM

That's fair. If you don't want a relationship that's your choice. If you find a good partner you'd still be able to do what you want, or rather you'd want to do more with that person/spend money on that person. Doing things with/for that person essentially. It's really very depending on where you as an individual are in your life. Which is why encouraging men to not date at all is not the answer, the way I see it.
/r/MensRights06/06/21 05:34 PM
-4

It really isn't. There are more good women out there than bad ones. Like anything in life you have to be cautious. In life, everything worth doing involves risk. Relationships are no different. Being alone and resentful isn't the answer.

Change doesn't happen magically overnight. She realized she had been in the wrong all along and is actively trying to better herself. Try seeing the good in that, instead of berating her for not doing what you wanted her to do (apologize). Also, just because she doesn't state in the article that she apologized, doesn't mean she didn't.

What they are saying here isn't that bad. There is a difference between a man touching a woman and the other way around. It's in no way okay for women to fondle men/grab their junk/etc (actual sexual harassment). But a hand on the arm or something similar is not the same for men and women.

I'm not saying he did it, but I see a lot of comments praising him, hoping that he "destroys them/ruins their lives". Am I missing something, or are all of you just assuming it's false accusations? Because waiting for due process goes both ways. Again, I personally am inclined to not believe these accusations, but maybe don't wish bad things on someone before having the full story. That's a very slippery slope.

There seems to be some misdirected hostility here imo...
