Whether this is technically accurate or not, I hope you recognize most ppl do not have that understanding of “red-pill.” Or at least there is certainly an effort out there to paint red-pill as black-pill. This effort is at the least moderately successful too

Well that’s good about your therapist then. Finding someone you like and do well with can be pretty challenging at times. You could always take a break from dating. I know that’s not always easy when you desire connection but focusing on something else for a little while could be beneficial.

I am in a better place so that’s good! And yes, that is my primary issue. It’s not helping anything to brush broad-stroke hate. I don’t see why some ppl think empowering women means they have to trash on men, but the pendulum swings I suppose.

Yes, it is a very casual hatred. So casual that when I was at rock bottom and joined a partial-hospitalization program (for those who are battling depression, etc. but aren’t quite considered on the edge of deleting themself) I was sitting between meetings with two women who were discussing how sucky men were. Which was whatever, I’ve heard it, but it was pretty eye-opening when one felt comfortable enough to say “all men are trash” right in front of me, as if we’re not all supposed to be there …

Seems like a lot to unpack here. I did read it in full but there’s a bunch of moving parts and I’m not sure how to respond all of them. So the TL;DR is open relationships will absolutely fuck ppl up if they didn’t get into one fully on board. And even then I personally question how legitimately they can work. Women are going to get more attention than men in the dating field, that’s a given. While there is a give and take for the perks of being a man and a woman, I find it highly questionable th…

She receives no child support from her ex and they both live with me. This reads as though her and the ex live with you and I was like, GET OUT NOW. Do you know any details why she doesn’t receive child support? How much is the father involved in the other child’s life? It sounds pretty clear this isn’t financially sustainable but also sounds like you care for this woman a great deal, so you can try to make it work, but sounds pretty clear something needs to change. The easiest thing would be to…

There is a reason ppl are angry and it is perfectly normal. Didn’t you basically just say in a different comment that letting things make you angry gives the power away?

Watching a man punch my wife didn’t make me angry. I got so angry watching a guy hit my wife. Got it.

Extremely cringey to kiss someone’s back with whom you’ve never been intimate. Or neck, etc.

Hard disagree. Dear god do not kiss her back or probably most other areas, and simply start with the lips. And like someone else said, if you really have to at some point, and you feel like a moment is there where you both want to kiss each other, just quickly ask her. Or say “I want to kiss you” and if all goes well she’ll say do it already.

Use some punctuation and grow up a little bit. I know there aren’t supposed to be unsupportive comments based on sub rules but you sound really immature here. Your girlfriend isn’t there to just suck your dick everyday; be happy you had that for a while in school. This has such a woe is me sound to it that I wonder about the legitimacy of this post.

I’ve been in a similar spot as you. The first comment has some great suggestions. It’s definitely not too late, but you may feel like the clock is ticking. It’s important to not let that anxiety hold you back from moving forward on the goals you know you want — some human connection. As an aside, I’ll talk about dating apps for a moment. Firstly, most of them have aged beyond legitimate dating that could have been found 5-10 years ago. Depending on what country you live in, there may be one or t…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
