Only you can answer that question. If you do want to be better, it will happen because it is what you want, and nobody can give you your mission.

In this case, his behavior is by far the more shitty because he's a father who never contributed to the development of his own child, so her issues are his own failure.

The pace of technological development will far outpace any social developments that arise from the development of technology unless we are met with global cataclysm. We are no longer a state or empire that will fall to other states or empires. In the nuclear/space/oil age, we are already a global civilization as any internal conflict, such as between the US and Russia or China, will bring about complete destruction. We are converging on a authoritarian corporate fascist future with a variety of …

Edit: Spoilers: Mad Max is a story about how men fought to protect natural resources, developed an economy that had enough excess resources to provide free water to the masses, protected them from clear threats of banditry, and the queen bees vital to preserve a dying human race revolted from the hive of protection built for them due to the feminine imperative of independence to follow false hope, and left a trail of death and destruction that left them in the same place they started only withou…

I'm fb friends with some very intelligent poly guys who play the feminist white knight who had a well thought out post calling out RoK as using the criticism of the 'Mad Max = feminist indoctrination' parodies as simply a way for Rooshv to spread his brand through the masses by outrage to gain followers for money. The magic of self help without the profit motive of the charlatans selling the self help cure is that when a community focuses solely on self help rather than selling self help, people…

This is a forum for men who have the need to find out the reasons for why they were not successful in their strategy for getting women. Women are much better at teaching girls successful social strategies than men. There is a separate forum for women who have different successful gender strategies than men. As it is a societal zero sum game, it does not serve men for women to understand our strategies, just as women don't go around teaching creepy guys how to get women.

Most of the comments seem to be people who don't really understand the full scope of the thought leaders are trying to get across. People here want to minimize or ignore this woman's experience. There is a real issue here that idiots can walk away from viewing some of this information not learning the hard lessons of self improvement, and using the jargon and framework as a justification for whatever stupid thing they do. The nature of male speech is to not give tons of disclaimers or hedging, s…

There are perhaps some useful ways to think about things in this way. But I once was suckered into completing a personality/love language test by the mother of an ex long distance LTR. Probably don't need to say it, but don't do that.

Penis envy is absolutely a real psychological development stage for all women. Freud was right about that even if feminists try to say otherwise.

And at 35 they realize they only had one man, their hormones are going crazy, the kids are teenagers and don't need a mom, she feels useless and bored, and jumps ship because she's been integrated into feminist culture and now views you as an oppressor and wants to start by opening her marriage. May not happen to everyone, but I've seen it enough.

I truly believe you'd have a society full of very happy men and extremely miserable women. But, I'm all for it. You are assuming men will be happy to be AF. How could one half of society be happy with half of it miserable? Social science research indicates that marriage, regardless of quality, makes men happier. For women it is the quality of the marriage that makes them happy or not. Now marriage 2.0 where divorce rape is a virtual guarantee makes the whole situation a disaster, but once you've…

You may not like the answer, but the fact is that most wealth does come from outside your personal control. That's just accepting the reality of our economics. Understanding everyone is a victim of circumstance may not be very useful personal frame, but if you are a worker, misunderstanding your situation is to submit to your own exploitation. Owners of capital would love workers to just blame themselves rather than organize to take personal control by organization. Yes sometimes understanding e…

Every relationship can be described as codependency on some level. Sure it is "unhealthy" in that there are more productive things to do with his time in a strictly utilitarian sense. But it is better entertainment and more educational than an hour of netflix. 'Trashy narcissistic women' AWALT so sometimes they are good friends to have, because sometimes a bad example is worth more than 1000 good examples.

There are plenty of benefits from being a well informed person on matters of politics and local, national, and world affairs. But until you have command of significant resources, it is an optional hobby and not for everyone, but it can provide real enjoyment and benefits for some people. Celebrity culture provides no value other than possibly entertainment and is a waste of time for everyone, and is a very different thing.

What is the "extra mile?" Most of the guys here are not "naturals." They were guys who know what it means to go the extra mile because we've already gone hundreds of miles further than we should have for women that weren't worth it. The "right type" is so rare that honestly it isn't worth discussing what to do in that situation because then you've found a bill piller's unicorn.

If you look like a college sophomore, that's great because college sophomores won't care. If you are 29, do you want only 29 year old girls to be attracted to you? Why would you go after a 29 year old woman over 19 year old girls? Just accept the fact there is nothing to be done apart from the usual advice and take advantage of your youthful look and stop thinking about it like a 29 year old woman would, and see yourself through the eyes of the younger woman.

I come from a culture where crying is a powerful tool for an alpha man in the right position. In Mormonism, if you pull out the tears when speaking about your faith, it shows that rather than emotionally vulnerable, you are spiritually powerful as you are manifesting a direct connection to a higher power. Glenn Beck didn't come up with his waterworks on his own, he learned this from Mormon leaders. It depends on culture, in America in general it isn't acceptable, but I believe some Asian leaders…

I think in time you will see that "real equality" is an illusion. Maybe it is because you haven't actually experienced what it is like to have a community that espouses "real equality" where people are completely uninhibited. As someone new to this, especially in the comments here, I think you can see what happens whenever a like minded group forms, there can be some ingroup/outgroup thinking that generate ideological biases. That said, Feminism exists just as much as something like "Mormonism" …

As a dancer, that is a great way to get in. It is a skill so you have to put in some time learning it and not being great at it immediately. There is a reason a lot of guys self select themselves out of the dancing scene, it is because they don't want to have the loss of ego/frame in the learning phase. If you can let that go and think of it like a monk mode plus interaction with women who probably won't be interested, then there are great results at the end of 6 months.

I think it depends almost completely on where you live and what the local dance scene is like. Personally I'd recommend blues. Friendly scene with an easy entry level, but can get more intimate than most other styles once both partners are willing, and is more a west coast thing where contra seems to be more east coast.
