This is the only comment that is accurate in this whole thread. Christ, these gender debate subreddits truly are redpilled in egregious ways.

I don't think that this is indicated anywhere by OP.

An egregiously misogynistic take. Like women have never apologized before. Lol. Stop dating PEOPLE that deflect blame.

They have sex too.

I still disagree that this is a double standard. Women are often begging men to do the bare minimum or be competent in the household. Care and be empathetic to their spouse's needs.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/24 07:21 AM

This is why it's hard for so many women to make women friends when they're used to being friends with men. I'm her. It's hard for me to go out of my way to try and win a woman's time.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/24 07:56 AM

Diagnosing thousands of women on the Internet forum without having a single conversation with them. Golden material lol. Ridiculous.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/24 07:54 AM

Short men get fucked too. This is easy bait.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/24 07:52 AM

Rejection and playing the numbers game helps you get better at people in general. These men should make some women friends just so they know how to not talk to a woman that's scary or weird. You'll figure it out with time of you tweak things every time something goes wrong. But please just... try rolling higher than a 5 in perception.

Your point stands once you bring statistics to the table. Your point was an opinion just as theirs was, except worded without language of self. You don't say "I" and you don't refer to personal examples. That doesn't mean your opinion isn't ENTIRELY based on your personal life. At least the other person was more upfront about it being subjective because it's their personal experience. You just try to veil yours so you have an easy "out" when someone challenged you. "anecdotally, fuck you!" ehehe…

This is dehumanizing in itself. I HATE being put on a pedestal. Do you even see ME?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/24 07:45 AM

Lol but the men aren't wanted in the first place, even if they were trying to be slutty. What do you mean, "if they were to start doing this again (as they used to)?" What a man (or woman) does before entering a relationship shouldn't matter as long as they act appropriately and responsibly within the relationship. That means: be the partner you promised you'd be, be a better person every day, and be safe (if you were a slut, use protection and get tested) What's the harm? I don't care if I see …
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/24 07:44 AM

Damn, men really believe women can't have platonic friends? Wild. There's no boyfriend treatment in friends. We're both shitty and both supportive in my friendships.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/24 07:39 AM

This is exactly true with the roles reversed as well. I've been in relationships where I'm the biggest burden/ emotional lift, and I've been in relationships where I'm constantly supporting them and pretending to care about things I otherwise wouldn't if I weren't appeasing them. This is simply a relationship dynamic. Not gendered.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/24 07:37 AM

Why is this so difficult for everyone in this thread to understand? Have they not spent any time talking with women? Thank you lol

Obesity occurred because of poverty and the sugary food sold here. Not because women stopped having kids. Perhaps obesity could impact fertility, sure, but people are CHOOSING not to have kids. The pipeline is not, and has never been, be childless > get fat.

This comment gives a better view. It's not just inconvenient and hard. It's dangerous and a lifelong commitment to a man who is capable of anything. You never really know who your spouse is, or so we hear...

It sounds like you craft your own bubble as a self defense mechanism because it would simply be too much work to try to understand and emphasize with other perspectives.

Gross to think that are lying about themselves and misleading those women, if true. Personally, I only have ever had one close conservative male friend at any given time, and those friendships never lasted. 1-2 years until they went insane because they only wanted to stick around for the chance to date me. They weren't good friends. Liberal guy friends have a better success rate for treating me like a person and friend. We also agree politically, but that's not the issue. I don't mind a debate w…

I think this is the right take. Reddit is young and outwardly jaded, strengthened by the anonymity.

The last half is very presumptuous. You're assuming women, or people for that matter, use Reddit as though it's yet another social media app. Reddit is much more resourceful. People Google "____ review reddit" for purchase research. If you work in IT, your boss likely won't bat an eye at you using Reddit as a large resource for your troubleshooting process. If you went to Facebook or Tiktok, that would be a bit strange? Women are on this platform for the same reason men are. Curated echo chamber…
