How is this demeaning him in the slightest? He makes a very good point in the face of this oblivious feminist and it's going over your head as well. It's a "tired old gender role" because it's one of the basic biological differences between our sexes. In no way does it make one better than the other, but women pop out the babies, they take the physical toll, and are thus more adept at raising them after.
