Yeah what you have experienced is called a placebo. Taking even 10kg of Maca will not affect your test other than placebo. Do you really think any test boosting supplements actually work? Would the market not be flooded with scientifically backed products including it? Think of how huge the fitness industry is, and how much snake oil fills it up. Maca is no diff

I just was reminded of a lesson I'd learnt before...think as you like but behave like others. Talking to a wall is pointless :)

Wanting to improve myself is the exact reason why I don't bother with rubbish posts filled with biased opinions based on some childs bad past experiences with women. Improving is identifying what is good and useful, while disregarding the rest. Its why you see thousands of failures on subreddits such as fitness and bodybuilding. The blind leading the blind.

What has that got to do with TRP? I don't post to TRP because I don't have quality content to post. If others followed in my footsteps perhaps the sub would not be filled with the garbage it is filled with now. All left to the mods to clean up everyone elses own egotistical ravings and rants, poor fellas.

Look you may have raised some solid points but I didn't get to read them since I quit after reading the first few lines of "WOMEN ARE EVIL ANGER PHASE REPRESENT". Grow up. Stop hating the world so much. Life is more enjoyable, try it.

So true. Had a plate over 2 nights ago and everything went perfectly. She was like "you must have read the book, how do you do everything so smoothly". A man armed with TRP is truly a powerful force.

Are there any other forums similar to TRP? Preferably lesser known ones...quality of posts this past year has been atrocious, poor mods lol

This will be common knowledge to those who are already interacting with women in the DGAF attitude. But from personal experience its no way to secure a LTR, all my relationships based on arrogant/cocky/confident attitude have been thoroughly satisfying however end quite abruptly. The flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long...or something similar.

"The Red Pill: Discussion of sexual strategy in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men." Sexual strategy. Why are people wanting to discuss sexual strategy? Because in the end sex makes them feel GOOD. There is nothing wrong with that as long as you don't let it control you in any shape or form, as that is the complete opposite of RP/Alpha. I'm not sure what definition of TRP you are trying to preach but you make it seem like religion/cult whom teachings must be revered over …

Just because you understand the truth doesn't mean you have to be depressed about it or supress all happy emotions... The best part about TRP is getting to understand how everything REALLY works and using it to your advantage, improving your quality of life and therefore, happiness.

Those "not a rapper" fuckboys are so much more successful than I guarantee 99% of this sub. Who gives a fuck if you don't like their music, they are doing their thing and its proving to be very successful. Don't project your regret and anger for not succeeding with your own passions lol.

I really don't see how you can call JCole or Lamar garbage. Seriously, music is such a subjective thing, which also has nothing to do with TRP. Just listen to what you enjoy and remember its just sound not a bible meant to be studied and praised...

I'm short too, 5'7, so I know the feeling. But we have some advantages too, particularly when it comes to the gym. I hit the gym hard for 2 years, gained 12kgs and now have a much much better body then anyone else i know personally at my age (19). Shorter people need way less muscle mass to look good, easy aff to get aesthetic.

Compound lifts are super important for all around strength and building a foundation, but if you're looking for aesthetic gains you need to also do hypertrophy and isolation work. I recommend PPL 2x a week, you can look it up on reddit fitness or even google. Its push (chest, shoulders, triceps), pull ( back and biceps) and legs. TWICE a week, meaning 6 days a week in the gym for maximum efficiency. For example on pull day this is my routine: Deadlifts 5x5 Pullups/ Lat pulldowns 4x8 Bent over ro…

The reason you didn't get a real response is because its a silly question. There are so many variables that will determine the outcome of your first year of lifting that it is pointless to give you some idea of what you will achieve. Diet, Training, Discipline, Genetics. Everyone is completely different in all these categories and they all have a huge impact on the outcome. Do everything perfect and you will see a very noticeable change in your physique in the first year, mostly due to 'noob gai…

'"The red pill, the discussion of sexual strategy..." Not sure why you are surprised or irritated that people here lift for superficial reasons and vocalise that. If you want to talk about lifting in a more strength and performance oriented way, head on over to r fitness.

5-6 days a week in the gym is great, not sure what you're on about. I started with PPL 2x a week and am still on it after seeing tremendous gains in only my first almost 2 years of lifting. Muscle protein synthesis is increased for two days after lifting, after that you need to use the muscle again to restart the process. Look it up

Damn this post hit me hard. I'm a very lazy dude and while I like to lie to myself and think I have discipline (in areas like lifting/socially) really I have very little control over my own actions, always acting on desires instead of what will actually benefit me. Why is it that I WANT to do something, I even have the skills and opportunities to do it, but I don't? Makes me feel like i'm not in control of my own life and I don't like that at all, good post OP hopefully I can use this inspiratio…

Honestly I hate seeing these fitness posts with generic tips and subpar programs, also when 95% of people in my gym lift horribly I have trouble trusting advice from a stranger over the internet. Post some sources and then I will value your advice. (Photos of your own success, scientific studies etc)

I would recommend just a good blender vs a juicer, you're losing lots of the nutrients in the left over pulp (if you aren't using it).

I don't think its wasted time..worked for me. The 3 big compounds are obviously super important but adding isolation can help imo.

Yep, 5'7 here just like OP, only 18 so I'm basically still a kid but always felt much smaller than my peers. Been lifting for almost 10 months now and it has helped a fuckload, stick to lifting OP and you will gain loads of confidence.

This is something I need to seriously work on, TRP has helped me actually learn to pull and plate women but I still seek and thrive off validation from women. I can't help but love the feeling of validation in knowing that women want me, since its such a new feeling. Thanks for listing a few ways to stop seeking approval, will give it all a go.

If you wear tight/slim jeans/joggers yes you will need to replace them. At 5'7 I've went from a size 28/9 to a size 30/31 in slim jeans from just 8 months of lifting, due to quads and hammies growing. Soon your jeans will be held by your thighs and not your waist lol. Regarding upper body most stuff will still fit, in fact they will just fit better as you fill them out much more.

Why do 5v5 and isolation have to be seperated? For example I use 5x5 for my deadlifts, squats and sometimes chest (if i'm focusing on building my bench strength). For everything else I use isolation movements like curls, shrugs, lat pulldowns etc. Is there really any downside to doing both?

Not really a stupid question but... 1.To anyone here who uses gear, how old were you when you hopped on? 2.How long had you been training naturally prior to hopping on? 3.What changes in your day to day life/personality did you see from using gear? As a young newbie, thanks in advance.

Good man. You may find some of the shit here depressing but its the cold hard truth. Accept the dark realities of this world and use this knowledge to your advantage. Reading TRP at 15 is a blessing, keep it up and you will be a monster soon enough

I think what OP meant was just to just stop talking so fucking much. Don't anxiously try to fill every silence with verbal garbage, silence is OK. "Always say less than necessary" - Your words have much more power when you're not constantly speaking.

Also 18 here but started reading TRP at 17. Posts like this are fucking gold for our 'generation'. When I look back at who I was at 15 i'm disgusted and I wish I was introduced to posts like these earlier. I think my biggest problem (and probably most others my age) was putting pussy on a pedestal and treating all girls like fucking queens. Thank you to OP and everyone else who makes posts like these for the younger demographic, we truly appreciate it.

Haha thanks for the belated reply, funnily enough i've already implemented most of the advice you've given. Dropped the friend, took on a PPL rotating split ( each muscle 3 times a fortnight), upped my calories and have made significant gains. Most people don't bother to research and just hit the weights as hard as they can, I appreciate your knowledge and hope to use it to achieve my physique goals :)

Ah it was because I was going to my gym as a guest through a friends membership, and his routine was IMO horrible. We would be doing 8-9 exercises a day on the same muscle on a 5 day split, over-training in my opinion. After getting my own membership I wanted to get a program I could follow, the reason for me switching.

Thanks for the advice, luckily I am still a beginner(4 weeks lifting). How long would you say training multiple muscles would work work for? Or is it just when I notice my weight/strength gains slowing down

to the gym b I train multiple muscles on the same day to give my body recovery days, usually 2/3 rest days a week (since i'm not doing cardio).

Also recommend PPL. A rotating PPL split is even better if you have the time, hitting each muscle 3 times a fortnight.

Really? I've been lifting for 4 weeks now and I fucking love it, rest days are the worst! Think less about the overall weight you are lifting and focus on improving, nothing more satisfying than moving up a weight!

Currently im sitting around 12% bodyfat so my body does look decent but I need to put on some size to amplify that. Which I now understand that I need to build a foundation of strength first. Do I need to go through the traditional bulking/cutting phases or can I continue to build strength/size while maintaining my bodyfat level?
/r/askTRP28/09/15 11:23 PM

To clarify i'm not so much 'switching' programs as I am looking for a proper routine. So far I have just been doing whatever my friend does at the gym which i've come to learn is horrible (usually 8 excercises per muscle group..overtraining). I appreciate the knowledge and will end up starting SS this week.

How wide gripped are your pushups? And are these supersets until failure or a similar rep range? Currently I don't do any form of cardio since im decently lean around 10%bf

I see you recommend training 3/4 days a week and as a newbie to lifting I have a few questions. I've been lifting for 3 weeks now and so far have went from 58 - 61kg while retaining my low body fat level, however my training regime has just been following a friends routine (he has been lifting for 9 months, fairly well built). Our regime is currently much harsher than anything I read online or hear from friends, (usually 2/2.30 hours at the gym) with many exercises ranging from 8 exercises per m…
