OP have you given any real consideration to sample bias? That'd be like a dude using seeking arrangements to find a long term girlfriend who loves him for his personality, and then being confused why he only is meeting gold diggers.

There are a few great reasons already highlighted. I would like to say there is also a huge difference between being a 22 yo single parent and being a 43 yo single parent. That is partially because of all the responsibilities that accompany being a parent. Most 25 year olds want to party and have a good time. If you are doing that regularly when you have a kid, you probably should not have a kid. Jesus may be willing to overlook your past once you repent, but the rest of the world is less likely…

People can ask for whatever they want. If your sister is middle-aged but wants someone down to pay for everything and increase her lifestyle she needs to be seeking men 10 and 20 years older than her. Most self-made successful men who want a tradcon wife don't need to date women their own age. If a successful dude is dating women of a similar age it's because he wants a partner which implies a level of equality. Everyone wants to have their cake and eat it too, we are just hyperaware of other fo…

Your comparison of onlyfans to strippers is appropriate. Plenty of strippers have clients fall in love with them and it leads to all sorts of chaos. The problem with onlyfans isn't the literal content, it's the messaging back and forth that implies a level of familiarity that is not real. There are literally jobs where they will hire you to respond for those women with massive followings. I'd argue it's just the latest version of the problem that social media and alternative forms of communicati…

This sounds like some real juvenile highschool level stuff. You need to change what you are willing to tolerate. If you are not a teenager you need to reevaluate who you are surrounding yourself with. Although that probably would be a bad idea regardless of age.

I think both sides are looking at extremes of the other without acknowledging their portion. Many content creators do lead men on since it pays the bills. Some are just friendly but there are bad actors. I can't remember her name but there was one really successful twitch streamer who capped her followers donations to something trivial like 5 bucks, which I feel is a great example of acting in good faith for various reasons, not all of which are altruistic. Some men do outright lie and lead wome…

I will counter with the fact that many of the streamers, but almost all of the onlyfans women, actually do lead people on. They send out automated ambigious mentions that imply a level of intimacy that is just patently false I have no problem with people choosing to profit from sex work, but that cliche that a lot of an escorts job is talking is equally true for onlyfans girls. I don't think the problem is the content, but in fact the misleading communication that causes ignorant men to imagine …

I'd also be comfortable betting, that the women's comfortably also depends on whether they are self-made or even if their family wealth is recent. Like that heiress who started dating the "sexy felon" as soon as he was out of jail. Whereas Mackenzie Bezos ended up with a teacher.

Oh my bad then, that line of thinking is stupid. Sex work is the same type of easy for women that join the military is for men. It's only easy in that the barrier to initial entry is low and people assume it is easy, but there is a huge dropout rate once the participants become aware of what is actually expected.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 08:17 AM

I think most men will casually joke about being a porn star the way women will say "fuck it, I'll be a stripper." Men know sex work isn't a privilege, except for an exceedingly small minority of cases, and even then it is still quite hard work. Sex work is often the last choice for many without other options. It's not there only option but it is one of the more passive choices. I say passive in that the assumed dangers are usually on the providers, whereas the crimes I mentioned could play out i…

Yeah but onlyfans also sells that same idea in making it that every wannabe rapper dreams of. Only a few will make it to the top, but that 1% is miles ahead of those of us working 9 to 5s

Well I guess the transition to onlyfans makes sense now. I had to google the figures and you're right, if they are lucky it's about 1,500 but can be as low a several hundred.

I guess I was thinking more along the lines of the guys who actually make enough to have a semi-decent living. Tbh I never researched this all that much, just see a couple of documentaries. I had to Google that claim, I have admittedly never spent time actually trying to discover the average male pornstars length, but you are right. I guess the data could still be considered skewed, since a minority of men are shooting the majority of scenes, maybe a better way to get an accurate sample would be…

I'll respond to the other comment here. Sometimes the reason already gay men don't do porn is for the same reasons well adjusted 18 year old highschool cheerleaders don't start an onlyfans But do you think sexuality is so fluid that people just decide "well I guess a thousand dollars is worth getting fucked in the ass?" Or do you think people value money to the degree they will debase themselves as such? B&E, GTA strong arm robbery, and not to mention drug dealing are great ways to make a quick …

You are moving the goal post. But there are a number of performers who go gay for pay. It's not something most people would be comfortable with. An inverse of your question might be, "If more women wanted to be CEOs, why don't they start their own companies?" There are multiple factors to consider, and to boil the discussion down to a few talking points is being needlessly obtuse.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/21 05:56 AM

You're kind of wrong about the requirements for male adult talent. There is a fraction of the number of male pornstars as there are women. Porn is unrealistic in numerous ways, one being that most of the male performers are extraordinarily well-endowed. Ability to perform isn't as big of a hurdle anymore with all the E.D. medications but most dudes honestly just don't quite measure up to what mainstream companies expect. Possibly more importantly, unless you are a bit of a superstar male perform…

Weed is the drug if choice for a lot of folks. There's a bit of crackhead wisdom though "There are two kinds of people in this world, those who LOVE crack cocaine, and those who have never tried it." I'm not saying your wrong, I haven't done a survey to study the typical clientele of an escort. There are all sorts of factors that can skew things. The clientele will vary widely depending on location. The price being charged should also be considered. I think your assumptions about the clientele a…

Maybe that's my skewed view, I don't even consider weed a real drug. I'm leaning more towards the kind of folks who do a few lines of blow at the bars on Friday before their 9 to 5 job on Monday. Also have you considered you are only hearing the bad examples because if your wife told you about the well off doctors and lawyers who she actually enjoys spending time with, that you'd get insecure? I assume youre in the us. I wonder if the customer demographic would change in a country where the legality was different. Based simply on the fact that to visit an escort is typically breaking at least one fairly serious law, the demographic of men who would be willing to risk it will be skewed. If I didn't have to worry about legal trouble I'd do so more often between relationships. It's the same reason a lot of folks who use narcotics are less than desirable people, it's not the act or actual…

Seriously, but it's annoying how the majority of discussions around RP hyperfixate on the obviously problematic aspects. At it's core RP is supposed to help a generation or two of men who were indoctrinated out of masculine practices rediscover the aspects that centuries of evolution had deemed attractive for mate selection. The more problematic stuff definitely works on damaged women because damaged people are much more likely to fall victim to manipulation.

Oh definitely, I was speaking from more of a content perspective. But a huge portion, probably the majority, of the dudes paying heavily into onlyfans do so because they lack appropriate social skills. I have a female friend who was streaming video games, totally clothed and trying to actually compete, she still got ransoms sending her 100s a month to just talk on chat and discord. Almost everyone, but especially unsuccessful men, would benefit greatly from just learning to talk to people normal…

This is very true and the opposite applies to both sexes as well. When either sex has a body count approaching triple digits, well adjusted people are going to raise a few eyebrows. It's just that men and women are more prone to the opposite extremes.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/21 09:18 PM
2

This is a bit of a tangent, but the increasing extremes of porn could arguably be encouraging the adoption of things like onlyfans. The things women do on onlyfans is arguably as tame as average social media is at times. Hell selling pictures that could have been in lowrider magazine is already massively different than the type of stuff currently on the homepages of most major tubesites. Having an onlyfans isn't even a dealbreaker of mine, unless the chick has a revolving door of guest stars.

I really think sex positive can only go so far. It's like decriminalizing drug use, there are levels to that shit. It might be become somewhat more normal, but I feel anyone who tries to say it will be normalized is trying to downplay the situation for either themselves or someone they know. With the rise of sexlessness and the number of people entrenched in conservative and/or religious beliefs I don't see a way this type of thing could ever be totally accepted.

I am not talking about the same field in academia. You may be best off going for someone drastically different from your own situation, not just a change of job title. Lol if she's not fucking other people and it means I'm now living well-above my means I'm all for it, but I know I am in the minority. However, the discussion completely shifts if she wants kids. I am indifferent, but I don't think I could bring a child into the world that was forced to face that social stigma, middle school is rough enough as it is.

The obvious answer, with supporting supreme court opinion, is because the potential child is literally contained within the hypothetical mother's body. On a more removed consideration I agree financial abortion should be legitimized but until such time we need to settle for hooking up with ambitious career minded women.

To be completely fair OP it could be a few things. The most likely suspects are It could be the kind of guy you are attracted to. I guess it supposes on where you are meeting these men. The joke nowadays is "the first red-flag was me finding you attractive." But in all honesty I'm at the age where if this kind of thing isn't at least partially under control we probably won't be running into eachother. I agree with your last sentiment, but I've accepted that as a reality if i want to date women with a compatible intellect. Finding the right match means loving someone because of, or at the very least, despite their flaws.

That's totally fair. I have a similar opinion. I think both of the extreme sides of the spectrum would need someone like-minded. So for most normal people somewhere in the middle is the most reasonable approach.

I am subconsciously attracted to overachieving/hardworking severely depressed women. I don't seek them out whatsoever but its a pretty safe bet, that if you put me in a room, the woman I'm most attracted to probably deals with depression. Have you ever had a bad orgasm? You are seriously downplaying the enjoyment women get out of sex by simply labeling it "casual." Many women realize and prioritize away from pursuing casual sex, but the kind of woman you take home from the bar, leaves with you because she expects or at the very least hopes to enjoy the implicated consensual activity.

This should be encouraged more but I hate seeing it touted as blanket advice. Some of us don't want to do manual labor, and that is totally fine if you are smart enough to get through a good degree program. That was a complete sales tactic. No judgement but once fisting starts being discussed, you are really looking at entry level kink I'm the rear view. I mean in total, financial, religion, all that shit. I am not interested in all that, but from what I have read the financial aspect is the biggest hurdle. If you think I am way off base explain what I am missing. There's nothing wrong with being opposed to promiscuity, believing you can enforce your ideals is the problem. A lot of tradcons and self-proclaimed redpillers are just incels hoping they can rebrand themselves. There are some women who want tradcons lifestyles, but most of the men that claim to want that seem to think they should just be assigned a wife. If a man is qualified to support a tradcon lifestyle he'd have no problem finding a suitable wife. (That ideal just isn't realistic in the cur…

She is super hyped by a lot of the zoomer generation. She is not ugly by any means but I think you are failing to recognize your own subconscious bias due to her celebrity status. Step1: Be attractive. Step 2: Don't be unattractive. Some people can't wrap there heads around the concept that there are aspects of being attractive that have nothing to do with what we look like. Sometimes that means money, sometimes its power, and includes everything and anything in between. Game is just a bastardization of appropriate social skills. People who call it game earnestly, do so because they are performing it instead of living it. If it were natural you'd call it charisma, charm, or just personality. Even online the attention they receive is negative. Most women don't get approached because most men don't approach. But online is just as bad. Poor social skills are a problem online as well, especially when negative people are involved. And just because the dude thinks he'…

This reads like you're too invested in theory, and not the actual practice. If you do more poorly in person than online, than your social skills aren't as polished as you believe they are. Women do get tons of attention but most of it is negative. The idea of a cold-approach isn't accurate. It's literally too cold. I'd like to read any literature you can provide on the subject because I don't feel like you are using that term correctly. There can be mostly well-adjusted people who are promiscuous, that doesn't mean they aren't using it as a coping mechanism of some sort. Fear of attachment comes to mind. It's just like people who will have a few beers right after work every day. Nothing outright wrong with it, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily the healthiest.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/21 08:56 AM

I'd venture that it's successful across most situations. As much as people hate to admit it, excessive promiscuity is just a coping mechanism. So the women you get may not necessarily be insecure but they will almost assuredly be damaged in some way.

I think there's a nuance that's not readily recognized. Attractive women are aware they are attractive, except the vast majority of attention they get is predominantly negative, because the men who are aggressive are not kind. There's a powerlifting mantra that perfectly summarizes how to do well with most women. "Dominate humbly." This is also ignoring people, especially women, who are serial monogamists. Women have an easier time getting casual sex and by proxy relationships since it's generally accepted that it is men's job to pursue. But it's rarely acknowledged some women will have a new boyfriend every 3 or 4 months. Men can do that too, but they are usually also the same men that have regular casual sex anyway. Both are necessary. There are always minor exceptions but nothing major. The difference is that one caveat is readily obvious, if I am not being treated properly I will end the situation. Now the more difficult aspect to ascertain is whether I am subject to the same rules as exes and for what reason those rules exist. That's the funny thing about life, not even identical twins are identical so your point is moot. Your argument is completely valid. However, your neglecting to acknowledge the common point of contention. Men are told we need to love all shapes of women. Look at the feel good bullshit promoted by Dove, and "models" like tess holiday. It is fully within your rights to turn men down because they're not pushing six feet, but you can't turn around and complain when those same men turn women down for having the wrong cup or dress size.

That's a good catch on the Catholic part at least in the U.S. and most other English speaking countries. And the points you make are true for most women posted on here. In the end it doesn't matter what the women's reasoning was, the outcome is the same. My point was more if she would choose to branch out from the church she may have better odds especially given her age. Most very religious people are married before twenty-five let alone thirty.

That was my opinion as well. She really seems more upset with herself than anyone else. I actually think in this case religion is to blame. The way most religions demand conformity in a couples beliefs severely limits options for everyone across the board. Such as honor killings on both sides in India as an extreme example. I hate the false equivalency that being religious means being morally upright. Many of the most hateful people I've seen claim to be devout.

Why do you think women who are known "party animals" have the reputation for being "easy?" Drugs will often influence and control how people act. And it's a simple matter of biology why they effect women more greatly than men when it comes to sex. I'm assuming you don't have much experience with illicit substances, but a large percentage of the more popular harder drugs can cause difficulty getting and sustaining an erection, while others can make it impossible to ejaculate. Women don't have the…

NFL lineman aren't necessarily cut though. But I do agree with you. To actively workout is a pretty masculine characteristic and most women want whatever their ideal version of masculinity is. I'm saying that cause even though I'm 5'7 my dating prospects seriously improved after I started powerlifting. I'm still overweight but the way it is carried is completely different, and I actually have facial features again.

I imagine it could be worse, but I don't believe it's strictly a race issue. Look at the "body positivity" activists. They try and claim that being called out for unhealthy lifestyles is the same thing as racism. If we are unwilling to date someone who is obese we are the modern equivalent of anti-miscegenists. I think a large aspect is that so many men have absolutely no standards and stick around with the first woman that shows them a little affection, and coincedently fat chicks are the most …

Redpill is a loose philosophical belief system. In practice it's whatever the practitioner makes it out to be. There are aspects of it that are problematic and information and tactics that some might be morally opposed to. It's the same with any practically applied information. Dating improves for everyone in their thirties as long as they actively work towards becoming well-rounded people. The difference is that attractive men begin to have the advantage in some ways. Some men do nothing to improve themselves other than add commas to their bank account. Although that's impressive, it doesn't create a well-rounded person, and they in turn get matched with women who capitalize on their sexuality to extract actual capital. Some men have resigned themselves to that positi…

From a linguistic standpoint that is probably because ma'am or miss is used to address someone. Whereas lady is only used to reference a 3rd person, So people likely hear it less because when we gossip we know who we are talking about, and if we are referencing a stranger we default to something much less respectful.

I get what you're saying, but it's practically a customer service term at this point. Languages evolve, sir was also once a honorific title, was the point I was making. Lady is just the same, In modern English it is used as a common noun. In everyday use it doesn't have the underlying connotations your ascribing to it. I'm going to go on a limb and say you'd have better immediate chemistry with the playboy. Generally speaking unless someone was going to join a monastery of some sort, to have zero relationship experience with the opposite sex, would imply they lack the appropriate social skills to do so. With the opposite being true for someone particularly promiscuous.

The advice to love yourself is literally the first step towards healthy relationships. Regardless of what your goals are. It's not to help you become more attractive, it's to ensure you are functional and self-aware enough to handle being in a relationship. In RP terms, loving yourself means noone is above you in importance. I.e. don't put pussy on a pedestal. (This belief may differ if you have children, I can't speak to that.) Your right generally single parent just means someone who is dating and has children from a previous relationship. I was trying to make a distinction that I think is often overlooked. I won't date a woman with kids regardless, but I have more respect for folks who can coparent effectively despite no longer being together.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/21 09:13 AM

I like this train of thought. I also don't see it being acknowledged enough, that by talking like this, it is solid evidence she still pines for the ex who dumped her. Tons of people have the one who got away, or in RP terms oneitis and alphawidows. It's practically a universal experience. But, what is not okay, is failing to do the personal development that helps you get past it.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/21 06:19 AM

I personally don't date women with kids. But, admittedly this is true. However, I view co-parenting while separated differently than being an actual single parent. Same goes for men. Ending up a single parent could be evidence of a few different things, especially depending on the parent's age. Yet only totally faultless reason is an unexpected death. And if your going to highlight absentee father's you also need to admit how stacked against men the family court systems are.

Medication. Most mental health conditions are chronic, however finding the right medication for the individual can allow them to lead an exceedingly normal life. More severe conditions will require more time to stabilize but once a treatment has been settled upon it typically becomes routine. If the person is in a developed nation there are usually a plethora of treatment options. If their family or community is opposed to treatment because of stigma or religion, they can go fuck themselves.

The other person implied the man must have consented to have a child just because he had sex. Technically that risk is always present, you're missing point entirely in that men do not have a way to back out of a pregnancy. Women can abort, men have to wait and see what she decides. The whole point to this line of thinking is that if women can choose to terminate a pregnancy, men should be allowed to financially abort the child. No, I am very pro-choice and that is entirely her decision. However, the number one predictor for continuing the cycle of poverty is having children at a young age. This is just untrue. Porn addiction can be like any addiction and affect anyone. Two wildly famous and successful men who have openly talked about porn addiction are Terry Crews and Chris Rock. Neither of them are even slightly reminiscent of what you described. Admittedly some men may fit that description but it is not a universal. I believe porn is just one factor responsible for the sexlessness. Less actual socialization, greater demands from school and work, and the increasing wealth dispari…

I get that. There was a period of my life between like 19 and 22 when I was obese and had a lot of trouble readjusting my expectations and social norms. I don't think it's necessarily tricking anyone. It's really more of being aware of and working on your own value. It also wasn't a restaurant, I tutored at a community college before transferring. It was weird, it was almost 50/50 girls that weren't opposed to an age gap vs girls who definitely thought you were a bit of a creep. So it was a bit …

Maybe occasionally, but more than likely not. I wasn't in any managerial position and was only part time, so at best you'd expect I might have been making a dollar or two above minimum wage. An age different of ten years or less isn't nearly as much of a deal breaker as people make it out to be. It is true most people end up with someone around their age, but if you take care of yourself you can totally aim younger, women can just as easily as long as they guy doesn't want kids. If your an attractive enough guy, a ten years age difference can be negligible depending on the woman. I'm closer to thirty than I am twenty and when I worked at a place that served a lot of recent highschool graduates I had 19 and 20 years olds make it painfully clear they were interested in me.

I've heard it proposed that although social media and modern culture is a contributing factor that the main reasons for the state of the majority of the modern world including the dating market is because we are in a post-industrial society. That concept is also used to explain the aging populations with the most advanced example being Japan. Admittedly not all men are that rational. That's why a lot of the popular ethots have had tons of work done. Shit look how many women who are considered sex symbols have had breast augmentation. I've had conversations about stuff like this. We are living in the bodyshop culture. Some people do actively workout and try to better themselves but tons of women resort to plastic surgery to get the crazy unrealistic curves. It's different for you, but not so much for the customer and potential partners might find trouble with it. I don't doubt it's very compartmentalized and sperated, I've even read about one girls "no list" specified "overt intimacy" her explanation was longer but what she described was very loving and intimate sex. A lot of swers feel that way, but do you really think those people would be seeking your services if the other chance was a real possibility? Many do, some don't. A lot of is anecdotal but you can read about some people's experiences on the sex workers subreddits. A slightly different source you can look into is pornstars talking about how their private sex lives can be and often are vastly different. A common sentiment I have seen is burnout. Admittedly some do claim that sex for work is different than sex for pleasure. And then there are warped views on what acts are deemed intimate.

Yes, this is true if the woman is question is promiscuous. There are a lot of women like that out there, but they are also overrepresented when it comes to discussions like this. I think it's mostly because a lot of people only consider the women they see on dating apps and sites. The reality is that the average woman isnt on any of those services. I sort of agree with some gender scholars who say gender is performative. Some would argue anything a man does is masculine and anything a woman does is feminine. The prolifers who are completely anti-birthcontrol are predominantly from abrahamic faiths. Eastern religions have rules that are a bit looser. The generally accepted types for them are any birthcontrols that prevents the fertilization of an egg. So condoms are great. Vasectomies and tubal ligation also have the green light. Im pretty tired, but I think you're kind of missing my point a bit. I agree strippers are generally treated as more expendable than most. I also agree there would be vastly different responses from most people when talking about a dead stripper vs a dead marine. I can't speak from experience, but I would bet that it is physically harder to be a marine, but it is probably more emotionally taxing to be a stripper. Can't say for certain though. I definitely believe that almost any military service will open more doors in the future than being a stripper would. I'm sorry if you've had an overall shitty experience dating, but that is not uncommon. Men and women need to screen for different things. This would also begin to explain why men commit other crimes more often simply as a last resort. And before anyone says men could turn a trick that is entirely different because femcels aren't running out to hire male escorts, if they were viagra would be…

Substance abuse is just as big of a problem for women. The only difference is that most puddle sluts can fuck their way to their next high. I knew a few who would steal the copper wire out of your walls if they couldnt blow you for a bag.

Another important factor in mental health is that although women are more commonly diagnosed as bipolar or depressed those do not completely limit a person's ability to function fairly normally. Also women attempt to seek treatment more often. Another huge factor is the fact that schizophrenia (which is what the most vulnerable homeless typically suffer from) is equally prevalent in men and women however men usually have an onset of symptoms before 21 whereas women it is usually after 30 or 35. …

Honestly a huge unspoken factor that skews homeless statistics is the fact that if a women is desperate and willing to put out she is almost guaranteed a roof over her head. This is in no way ideal and is totally different kind of shitty than just straight up being homeless but I am pretty sure it skews the statistics quite a bit.

Thanks for pointing that out. I missed that chain. I honestly scrolled like over half way but was surprised I didn't see it mentioned because I honestly think it's one of if not the biggest factor in the disparity of average achievements between men and women.

I read through quite a few posts and didn't see the fact that women have vast amounts of social support when compared to men. There's all sorts of programs that cater to young girls and women. Men often either succeed or fail entirely in their own. There is sexism in some higher ups occasionally but generally women are given much more support. Diversity quotas don't benefit men. When a city in some european country was chastised because they had like a 65/35 split between make and female workers…

I never claimed otherwise. It like pulling teeth to even get the opposite side acknowledged. I simply said there is a different issue that men face that is often overlooked to the point of mockery whereas women garner support regardless of the reality. Quite simply in today's competitive victimhood culture women have a significant advantage because other men and women are sympathetic to women's suffering whereas men are ignored or mocked.

Fear isnt always logically rational it's a means to survive. If you want to talk about data backed fear, by many estimates the occurrence of rape and sexual assault is on the decline. The 1 in 5 women statistic is one of the most argued figures in a long time. Based off of reporting sexual assaults have declined significantly since as recent as the 90s. Based off the statistics you should feel much more comfortable.

Competitive victimhood is growing more common all over. If you always view yourself as a victim it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. It takes truly ignorant men and women to honestly believe that one gender always has it worse than the other.

You're being willfully ignorant. Literally all you need to google is "falsely accused suicide" and you will find the recent stories and can do a deep dive yourself. It's not the norm but it exists. Just the way the average dude isn't a rapist but rapes happen. I'm not even saying that false accusations are as common as rape or sexual assault but it is something that individuals worry about. How about the silver bullet in divorce and family court. It's literally standard practice during divorce a…

Your describing the reality you are familiar and concern r with. The concerns you raise are totally valid but your turning the discussion into a pissing contest. Everytime someone raises a male concern you flip it into the most closely related female one, even when there are some stark differences between the two realities. Yes you could potentially be overpowered by a man which is something all those who debate in good faith can admit is horrifying, but you refuse to admit the totally life dest…

You've started or participated in several threads over the last week or two that parrot all the same talking points you have raised throughout this thread. We get it, you've probably had some bad experiences but unfortunately it seems you have allowed this to shape your entire worldview. You can't seem to admit there are inherently different risks imposed on both men and women. It really you are only arguing one sides because your views are so limited. You can't seem to admit that there are real…

This sub has shifted my opinions on some things and helped me form new ones. However I have had two very close platonic female friends for like 6 and 3 years. I feel they both have very different experiences and the sub reminds me that many people have vastly different experiences. Although I do feel both sides quite regularly beat a dead horse.

It's a joke and a play on words that is a counter to your claim of " highest physical pleasure possible." I don't completely disagree with some of the things you've claimed throughout the comment section but there are quite a few narcotics that I would say feel better than generic sex. I think you are taking to hardline a stance and not admitting there are a lot of overall grey areas when it comes to human nature for both men and women.

If you haven't experienced it, it's hard to describe. I don't think any of the definitions are exact. It's not always simply a crush sometimes it's a relationship that fails. Other times it's an ideal or self-destructive relationship when it is reciprocated. Which might work toward explaining the broken heart syndrome phenomenon. Either way, after people I decided to fill the hole with narcotics and then eventually prescriptions.

A lot of it depends how you carry yourself. You don't necessarily need to be towering over her but it's a benefit if you make her feel small. Bodybuilding and powerlifting are a great way to make that happen and to improve your overall confidence.

Johnny depp is 5'10. Cruise is on the lower limit of what is acceptable for men since he is 5'7. Height is a big factor but nowhere near as totally damning as many people say. Yeah if your a dude who is 5'2 your gonna have your work cut out for you but average guys like me who are at least 5'6 or 5'7 are still taller than the vast majority of women so it's not the end of the world.

This advice is golden. I have parroted this to multiple friends multiple times. It really makes the world easier to tolerate when you remind yourself how many people are technically below average intelligence. And in response to the poster above, all our experiences are skewed in favor of the people most likely to interact with us. Nice guys and sociopaths hit on random women more than the average dude so their experiences will skew in favor of them. Same thing applies to men, they assume most w…

No but my standing with the opposite sex has improved significantly since I discovered related communities that lead me to ppd. I have too many ambitions and long term goals to give them all up. Not to mention the friends and family members that I love dearly. Some people can't perceive any value in life outside of gratification from the opposite sex and and admittedly if you've been deprived of that for a long time you'll probably be quite unhappy but if that is how you derive all of your own s…

Even if the handbooks or assigned reading raise valid points does that negate the overall toxicity of either community? Most comments in this discussion that make points similar to yours could apply to either community. The problem both sides have is how these communities are breeding grounds for sexism either from angry incels or angry leftover women. Both communities grew out of dating problems between the sexes and may very well have fostered serious discussion in their infancies but now red …

I am not opposed to female friends. I have two, one who I consider one of my best friends and the other which is a more recent friendship but we get along quite well. I will admit I am not interested in being friends with most women. I have a higher standard for what I expect from my friends. Quite a few people who may call me a friend I simply consider acquaintances. To be truly friends there needs to be an exchange it doesn't necessarily have to be perfectly equal but there does need to be a g…

Personality and overall attitude can factor into decisions greatly. Like others have said there is usually a minimum level of acceptable attractiveness but personality is usually the major determining factor over whether relationships work out. There was a girl I worked with who I didn't think much of at first but she is a genuinely sweet person and she puts in an effort. When she had the free time she'd get totally glammed up and I appreciate well done make up. Alternatively there was an attrac…

I think it comes down to a matter of maturity but I agree school is a big factor. I knew a younger girl who had a plethora of borderline neck beard orbiters who couldn't understand why she was constantly getting asked out by her supposed friends. She got a little older and kind of put two and two together and eventually became much more choosy with who she considered a friend.

I suppose it depends on your morals since they are subjective. I can understand not wanting to associate with someone who doesn't share your morals. I wasn't necessarily implying that lying was a necessity simply don't give advice that is contrary to the friends personal ideals. If you are diametrically opposed to those ideals it would probably imply that you're not real friends.

I don't discredit the notion that men and women can be friends but a few women have openly admitted that some of them are orbiters I wonder how many of some of these close friends are really just orbiters.

I agree a lot of men will try to use friendship to lead to a relationship. I don't believe it works that way but like another poster said it's probably easier when the guy isnt sexually frustrated. I guess it boils down to the fact that a lot of guys don't know how to talk to women which in turn makes them believe starting as friends will work.

I disagree. I definitely was one in highschool but that was a lifetime ago. There can be a plethora of reasons why you wouldn't want to fuck an otherwise attractive woman. Both of my close friends have very different but significant issues ranging from trauma to depression. I won't ever stick my dick in crazy again but if I learned anything in the ward it's that crazy people can be some of the most fun to talk to.

Well, that raises a whole other debate on whether we are actually friends with our coworkers or if we are simply being polite to make the 9 to 5 easier. I have gotten along with the women I've worked with but I have never kept a friend that I made on the job once I found employment elsewhere.

It is interesting that the numbers are equal if you only look at the youngest generation surveyed. This makes me wonder if it is because of changes in generational attitudes or if it is because we simply lose friends as we get older and just don't make new ones.

I disagree with this. The two women I am friends with I wouldn't consider ugly. The closer friend I wouldn't sleep with regardless because of the nature of our friendship and the other girl is very sweet and arguably very conventionally attractive but I am not interested in her for other reasons. I dunno it might have been because I was emotionally unavailable for such a long time but separating the attraction I have for someone's physical appearance isn't all that great of a hurdle for me if I …

Well I appreciate well done make up and I can definitely tell the difference between a no makeup look versus actually wearing no make up so if the girl I'm seeing or even one of my coworkers got herself glammed up that day I make a point to compliment her usually something simple but just an acknowledgement of the effort they put out. Also if she did something different with her hair. I don't believe in compliments without a reason behind them or they're just empty words that will lead to resent…
