I read an article many many years ago in a broad sheet paper about something similar. It showed a lad with a slim girl then the same lad with the girl photoshoped fat. The reamers about his personality, self value and perceived public value were highly positive beside the slim girl and highly negative beside the fat girl. The study showed that men are harshly judged by the quality of female he can get. Btw: both females and males were asked to judge the boy.
