1	DNA proves man isn't girl's father but he must pay support anyway Something is missing from this story. You don't just name a name on a birth certificate and then poof, a court order appears. He would have had to be personally served with a court application and he would have had time to respond it at which point he should have said "whoa, I have no idea who this person even is" and asked for a DNA test and sought costs against the mother.
