My dad was a psychiatrist. He told me this story. He had a patient, a woman who had been in a relationship that seems to be comparable to yours. Only that the roles were reversed, she was a woman and her boyfriend was the suicidal one. Every time she was "leaving", either out of town over a weekend, on a holiday or something similar, he took a bunch of pills and then called her mobile. So she had the responsibility to "rescue" him. This went on for a couple of times, until one day the battery on…

Don’t try to convince a feminist, that’s impossible. They’re lost, and i mean this quite literally. But do discuss if there is some recording of that discussion, or if it is a written discussion. You’re doing it to convince the audience, not your opponent.

She's not dumb, don't make that assumption just because she fell for a cult. She's convinced, that doesn't mean she's dumb. The bad news is that you're not going to change her attitude, ever. She's lost, strongest indication for that is her having a degree in womens studies. The best thing you can do is contradict her, stay calm and objective, and maybe add just a grain of humor (they're totally helpless with humor because they don't have any). But always have an audience, preferrably a recordin…

I'm not looking for a result that pleases me. I am looking for a honest result. Speaking of which, I assume you know Cassie Jaye and her documentary, The Red Pill? She was after honesty, too. She too was met with scepticism here, and many (myself included) decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. When she then proceeded to honestly represent what she found out, it almost ruined her and her career. Be careful, man.

I want to challenge people just to take a minute and have that ‘moment in the mirror’. For guys, this might even be when you're shaving in the morning, ask yourself, ‘Are my actions what I want them to be? I looked into that mirror. What I saw was a man shaving, using the products of a company who told him he was probably not even thinking about how bad he behaved every day, and thus needed to be reminded to be an example so that he would instill respect, responsibility and confidence in the nex…

Well, when an ad gets 1.1M downvotes and half as many upvotes the problem isn’t with the consumers getting the message wrong. It’s the message. Lots of people with paranoia out there, right? BTW, while gillette pulled in a like/dislike ratio of about 1:2 on this one, Egard is at a whopping 72:1. Leet that sink in for a minute.
/r/MensRights21/01/19 10:22 PM

That’s the difference between these ads, really. People who liked the Gillette ad aren’t their customers, judging from what they have in their faces. But Gillette had many customers that really did dislike it. The opposite is true for Egard: many people who like the ad are (or, can afford to be) their customers, and the ones who dislike it never were going to buy Egard watches anyway. BTW this isn’t the first time a company soared by doing the exact opposite of what feminists and SJWs wanted the…

This is what currently appears on the front page of the Egard watch companys website. In case you missed it: Egard published a response ad to Gillettes new campaign, which many say reeks of misandry (me included). The CEO paid for that video out of his own pocket, posted it against all warnings he got (it would ruin his brand, him personally and everything he worked for) - and this is the result: people like a positive message. https://www.egardwatches.com

Never discuss with a feminist unless there is some form of recording (text, audio or video) of it. Let me explain why. It is impossible to discuss rationally with someone in a cult. You just can't get through to them. They're convinced they're right, they have their airtight world view, and literally nothing you can say or do will convince them that this world view is fundamentally flawed. (BTW, this is coming from a psychiatrist with 40+ years of experience, and no I'm not that psychiatrist). S…

First, you say that they didn't cook up a methodology that produces only one possible output (equality of women not reached) just for ideological reasons, and then you describe how dey did exactly that after their first results didn't match the required outcome. If I read that right, you're not assuming that their reasoning is ideology, but money. They're the WEF after all, so all they're after is getting more women into the job market. Is that your take?

I didn't say the current state of affairs is anywhere near to ideal. Reproduction rights are shit for men, there are no two ways about it. But adding the option for a legal abortion wouldn't make things better. It would make it fairer for men, but the big picture would still be stinking to high heavens. This whole discussion is backwards, because it is focused on the rights of parents to a child (or, if you look at contemporary legislature, the rights of the mother to a child). What's backwards …

It could be the case that those weird "equality benchmarks" are related to each others. There's a footnote in the report that hints at a source, apparently someone researched that the natural gender distribution amongst new borns is slightly in favor of boys. It might be nature's way to compensate for higher child mortality in boys, as well as lower life expectancy of men.

Sadly it is the overall score that makes it into the headlines. Plus, I wouldn't trust the numbers in the country breakdowns without having traced those numbers back to the source, which is just too much of an effort. For example, I wouldn't take one single figure regarding any kind of gender pay gap in that report at face value, I'm assuming they are based on biased reports. If memory serves me well, they even admit that they have to "estimate" some of the numbers, so... nope. Not buying any of…

I'm gonna be downvoted for this, but I'll say it anyway: You can't be demanding the right to be spawning children into fatherlessness just because you want 5 minutes of joy without responsibility every once in a while, and campaign for equal parental rights at the same time. There is no right to have sex without consequences. And there is no safe method of birth control. And yes, it sucks. This discussion is utterly selfish because it just looks at a grown ups prospect of having sex every in a w…

Oh, on the contrary! First and foremost, what you have to remember when debating a feminist, you can't do it to change THEIR opinion. You do it to change the opinion of OTHERS who are WATCHING. And you win half the argument by just staying civil, hard though it may be. On the same note: don't debate a feminist if there is no recording and/or no audience. In that situation, I'd strongly suggest to do something more useful with your time, like counting the leaves on a tree or something.

People who want to make us look bad will always find something they can use against us. If needed they just 5 words of an innocent sentence out of context, portray it in the worst possible way and blast it out on all channels available to them. It happened before, it will happen again. In the feminist mindset, a man can't be a victim. He belongs to the oppressing group. If he ever was a victim, and thats an upper case if, it's a good thing because he can learn from that experience. And no, I didn't make this up.

PLAN is notorious in it's exclusive support for girls, and I've had my runins with them. They won't reply with anything meaningful, other than a claim that they support boys, too - but on closer look, the only support boys get is a training on how to be more supportive of girls. Cut them off, it's not a tough call. It's not even a close one.

Word of advice: if you discuss that topic on social media, there are two things you should do: remain calm and factual. don't give in to emotion, even if you're boiling inside. remember that you won't be able to convince the person you're discussing with. you do that for the silent audience, the onlookers who read along and don't say a thing. you can convince them.

So you believe abortion should be outlawed as well, then? No. See above. However, I do think that sometimes it is too easy to get a child aborted, depending on where you are and what circumstances you're in. Especially if the father does not agree to it. This is about equality. No, it is not. You might want to look at it that way, but it just isn't. It's about the rights of a child, who had no say in how it was conceived, or by whom. Does it suck? Yes. Big time. It is unfair. But your right to s…

Equal rights for procreation, both sides. If a woman can refuse to be a mum then so can a dad. If it is unfair for a man to have equal freedom of choice then you must criminalise abortion for women too. Just because someting is not illegal doesn't make it right, and this is the case with abortions. Everyone knows that having one is not exactly a walk in the park, it is something people have to live with and will carry as a burden for the rest of their lifes, wether they admit it or not. You woul…

See, this 'legal abortion' is one of the two topics I don't agree with the predominant MRM opinion. The usual discussion revolves around the intersets and rights of the mother, sometimes the interests and rights of the father - but almost never does the discussion involve the interests and rights of the child. And that's a damned shame, because that child is the one who has to live with the consequences. In my opinion, if two adults engage in consentual sex, they do this KNOWING that there MIGHT…

Source: the report itself. The methodology works as follows: for any measurement they use, the maximum you can achieve is 100%. If women are worse off than men, that percentage is reduced. If women are better off than men, the percentage remains at 100%. So what they measure is not gender equality, but women disadvantagement. If women are better off in 4 out of 5 measurements and worse off in one of the 5, you cannot get to 100%. Now to life expectancy: they take the average life expectancy for …

I think that #metoo will haunt the feminist movement for years to come. It is so exaggerated and overdone that literally noone I know (including women) talk about it without rolling their eyes. I think it is perfect because it shows everyone what the feminist movement is about nowadays. The backlash to #metoo is already forming. It won't be as big and public as #metoo itself, but it will be long lasting.

I agree. Ben Shapiro has a very interesting speech on this on youtube where he gives some good advice on debating the left. Very much of this holds also true for feminists, for obvious reasons. He says, basically, that they love to argue on emotions. If you force them to be concrete, you force them to think and they hate that. That's how to throw them off balance.

I can answer a part of your question: Usually if a couple aborts a child, their relationship is over. This isn't a pro-life statement or a MRM thing, this comes from a psychiatrists experience of 30+ years. He explained that, on a subconcious level, a relationship has the archetypical purpose of reproduction. If you abort your children, therby removing the purpose, the relationship rarely survives. There are exceptions that depend a lot on the exact circumstances, but odds are they're over. This…
