Emily King, the lady who stitched this vid and put it on blast, is a great men’s advocate. Highly recommend her channel.

None of what you’ve just said would hold up in court.

Yep. Very unpopular opinion on this sub: Miller deserves ALL the mocking. Don’t give a shit. The dude is a stain on humanity.

Regards your attorney; I was in a similar situation, being threatened like this. The criminal attorney I spoke with said it was felony blackmail (do what I say or else), and strangely, upon my learning that, my threatener suddenly ceased their threats and agreed to my offer. Perhaps I should have said that I hoped that things went the way you wanted, instead of casting aspersions. Re LEO in this situation: sadly, I’ve seen LEO slam the father regardless of the circumstances over and over and ove…

That’s bananas, but I don’t doubt it. The issue is that attorney was a moron; your ex straight up committed felony blackmail.

How about we just ban that bullshit distinction, since it was created to shame men into behaving how they’re “supposed to” for women.

They/you may think they’re trained in combat - but whatever “training” they are receiving sucks: pretty much every video I see of cops arresting people (except for one older officer in what looks like a MalWart center who did an eccentric job; mos def had proper jj training) they’re terrible at actually restraining and subduing, and have to escalate to weapon usage, or end up severely injuring whoever they’re trying to subdue. And let’s not even get started on their weapon-handling skills….

In the same advice vein: Find and nurture a team of skilled professionals who can help keep you on the rails while you’re living your adventures, and rehab you when you leave said rails; getting old is not for sissies.

So fucking tired of this “smash the Patriarchy” BS. When I hear that now, I pipe up with “I need to get in touch with them - there are supposed to be all these benefits I should be getting….haven’t seen shit yet.”

Sorry you’re suffering, dude. Focus on you and your child. This site was incredibly helpful to me, having left a woman with undiagnosed BPD. Spoilers - it’s been three years since I talked to my kids…the BPD rarely get better. This is your opportunity to build you into the best person and father you can be. Get to work.

Brother, I am so sorry. Same situation - but dead bedroom instead of cheating. Do ALL the things that make YOU happy, and know there are those of us that feel all that pain too.

So much this. My ex turned the kids against me almost overnight - been almost 3 years since I’ve spoken to them - and when I asked her to take at least some responsibility for how things were going, she said, “I have been advised by my therapist to stay out of your relationship with both girls. This is what I have been doing. They are adults and I'm respecting that they are making their own decisions.” (A large part of the reason I left her is that EVERYTHING was always my fault - never took a g…

I feel your pain. 28 long fucking years of it. But hey - now I don’t have panic attacks when it’s time to go home now.

I raised two concert-level classical musicians, and have trained in martial arts for nearly 4 decades now - I so feel what you’re saying. Practicing technique is about the unsexiest thing ever, in any craft. But, it is that. very. thing. - that commitment to the discipline, which creates the magic, and has gotten you where you are. Celebrate that; mere mortals will never understand. If they don’t see that, then they are not worthy. Keep killin’ it. (and for those of you who didn’t get the refere…

Actually, it would be more correct to say you don't speak English, which is what they speak in the UK, in marked contrast to the American ('Mur'can) we speak on this side of the pond.
