With major globalist US/EU trade deals e.g TTIP on the horizon, I wouldn't be surprised if there will also be considerable efforts to normalize our cultures and legal frameworks within the next ten years.

Sounds like the best approach Also impressive growth, convergence is coming. I used to read mensrights and MGTOW but it all got too depressing and didn't feel pro-active in any way. I wonder if those subs are really buffering through the angry guys who'll eventually find a more pragmatic environment here.

As I understand this post, at the heart, TRP has an immutable core of solid ideas and a TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT approach is the best one. There's always room for constant re-evaluation of ideas at the periphery - just like how we discuss which things work and which don't. But too many other places have had a soft edge when it comes to their core philosophy, and once the ball starts rolling towards more and more concessions, everything starts to become awash with pandering and normalization. The orig…

Yeah, you had to suspend almost all disbelief. I guess you could say the machines used some kind of randomized creativity to get to that point and reached a local optimum so were unable to change their minds - as often happens with artificial intelligence - convinced bioelectric was the best option. The other argument you could make was that they were somehow undetectably leveraging the computational power of the human minds as well, and they hadn't worked out how to grow brains in a vat without…

Matrix actually comes from the Latin "mater" meaning mother, and the later middle English for "womb". The movie title is aptly named because the plugged-in are effectively incubated in the generated world - with the unusual side meaning from mathematics : a rank 2 tensor / linear operator / grid of numbers. It's conveniently an excellent metaphor for the manosphere too because of the female connotations - and of course the RedPill/BluePill scene. That whole film is laced with brilliant metaphors…

The Rational Male explains a bit on Intergender Dynamics (starting page 76) which I was reading this morning incidentally. I'd point out LJBF is something of a bluff most of the time. Large clique of friends increases the pool of available males who are one hop away from friends. While you might not pay her, or provide resources of any kind, beta orbiters probably will, so it's a pretty solid strategy for women to have lots of male friends who will defend (white knight), give them access to thin…

That's probably an agree & amplify you need right there. I laugh it off but then quickly tell them I'm the guy who defuses the pipe bombs. I've been going through some of the old DEFCON talks and this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsVtHqICeKE was amazing - he switches into serious mode and reminds you that there are some really nasty people out in the world. Keep the element of excitement, risk etc. in the conversation and use analogies everywhere. If they call you a wizard, you're doing i…

If you're the researcher/computer hacker type you need to accept what I call the "serious sorcerer" image - knowledge is power. I'm a bit giggly and mental by beta-default and becoming stoic is helping me combat that. You want people thinking you are an expert that somebody depends on, rather than an obsessed enthusiast to be used and pushed around. All too often I get the "oh so you're a gamer / game hacker" shit. Then I remind people how serious computer security is (even better if you relate …

Yeah, I think this is a pretty valid assessment and society, through media or peer pressure, loves to make sex look like an end goal. As we know the feminine imperative is to get men to pursue women so they have all the options. So sex on the pedestal is absolutely necessary to keep their beta-provider fed ponzi scheme going; and to artificially bump up the value of sex. "Sex is not that good" is a lesser stated part of abundance mentality - not only should you have plenty of options in women, y…

I've never tried this, but I do dance my way around the shopping centre or down the highstreet on weekends when all the tourists are staring at me. Starting off is hard, like getting into cold water but you stop caring in less than a minute. Sometimes I make funny faces. It's also pretty fun photobombing the (mostly asian) confused tourists taking pictures of our lovely city. Yup I'm crackers.

Glad somebody else feels the same way I do and asked this question. The biggest thing I hated about it was forcing myself to moderate my own opinions (because future employers might look me up) and also data collection, advertising and clickbait articles in the feed. I've been off the drug of Facebook and Twitter for more than a year now and I've noticed it has forced me to look for new ways to distract my mind. Fortunately, most of that distraction is reading and programming, which have been hu…

Lame excuses:> I don't eat much, don't get nearly enough protein (damn easy to fix!), don't have a lifestyle that requires me to carry heavy stuff around. Attracting women doesn't motivate me much, so it would be self improvment for its own sake - and perhaps also improving posture. I'm pretty busy right now and all over the place in terms of location and timing but I've put money aside for it for when I'm somewhere more stable.

Mostly clubs. I find it helps lift my mood and supplements my running - a pretty easy way to get a good few extra hours of high heart rate. Getting good at dancing with a partner is a priority and strength (something I don't have much of) would help with that.

"I dont even think im that bad looking" it's usually a sign of insecurity. While you might think you look okay, I bet there's some itching question at the back of your mind that keeps you doubting. It's about time you upped your dosage of Not-Giving-A-Fuck™ . You are the main character in your story. On the last page, everybody dies and the universe collapses in on itself, including your disrespectful mates. Find something interesting to do and don't waste time on impressing other people at this…

yeh, same with me when it comes to George Galloway. He's usually pretty good on Question Time even though I don't like his politics. That ban goes to show the ultra-progressives are eating themselves.

Thanks for the heads up. I'd be seriously impressed if you succeeded though unless you're somebody I've met before - that would be pretty weird.

I got my copy of The Rational Male and was reading it in a coffee shop. The day somebody approaches me and complains about what I'm reading is the day I'm giving up on this country - so far I've been fine. Although my university SU (Bath) is already pushing out feministics and bullshit survey results as I've posted here before. The other university in town - Bath Spa - has already banned the song "Blurred Lines" and The Sun. The NUS no-platformed UKIP. Our youth wing Young Independence has been …

I'd call it the "Dual No True Scotsman" . The NTS re-defines the criteria to change how somebody is labelled. The D-NTS makes a person take a label based on weakly defined criteria. Both change how somebody is labelled. Worth giving this fallacy a name because it's insidious and can go easily undetected.

Even if you bring the crazy party to the club, you'll just be an entertainer. There is no love to be had there Truth ! and exactly my experience. Still fun to be the crazy part as I always try, but that's all it can ever be. My reply to this thread is how I treat clubs - a place to go to release frustration from the working week, dance and little else. I don't think I'm the kind of person who'd be happy going home with a drunk person either because they'd be a sack of potatoes.

Yeh, a lot of confusion over left/right because it's really more two-axis. You believe in more left-wing centrally planned economics I presume, I believe in less central planning, and ancaps and econ-libertarians believe in significantly less / almost none/ none/. SJWs can only ever be left wing because they need a really authoritarian central government to enforce their idea of social justice. However, it's absolutely possible to be left wing and ignore social justice bullcrap but it would like…

If I was in that situation I probably would have just started laughing and staring at them like a maniac up to the point they think I'm a total psycho and get the fuck out. I don't know if that's RP or not - probably not because frame goes out the window. Last night I watched a girl force herself into someone's car trying to get away from her crazy drunk boyfriend - they were both aggressive idiots standing in the middle of the road. I stuck around for a while to watch. The beta white-knight in …

I've been writing poetry for three years but I've been on a hiatus for the past half year. Fast and frantic borderline rap stuff, influenced by John Cooper Clarke : this version is good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejKIgsR5W6k . Never liked anything too flowery though.

I was expecting at least one response like this - and you're right to point out that I'm using anecdotal evidence - which is of course weak. My biggest problem is that this survey was conducted from the outset with a goal in mind. There was field in the online form that said roughly "How can we eliminate Lad Culture". It presumed Lad Culture was a bad thing all the way through and using "Lad" in this context makes them immediately anti-male. My second problem is that none of the claims about sex…

I could write a phantomjs script to extract all posts as text and their comments but I'd need a list of links. I tried using recursive wget with the --no-parent flag and some exclusions but it was A) slow and B) wandered off and extracted a bunch of irrelevant garbage. Plus a lot of it was duplicated html. edit: or there's the reddit API https://www.reddit.com/dev/api

Indeed - a small but effective defence force and one that can react to 21st century attacks. The US budget is worryingly large. It's going off topic and I've probably hijacked this as we're really meant to be talking about some guy's severed dick - but you search 'russian planes uk' and you'll find plenty of news articles about various cheeky Russian bomber sorties near UK airspace. I get the feeling people naively seem to think war is only something that happens in "the middle east" eastern eur…

I supported them for about ten minutes at one point. I realised how much totalitarian nonsense their supporters spout with worrying feminist overtones. In truth, they have entirely unrealistic goals - esp. the "zero growth economy", naively small defence force etc. But besides that, why would you want to foist a patently feminist movement on all the unsuspecting betas out there by voting for them? Is your reply sarcasm?

The pussy pass is sickening. That guy must now have some serious psychological trauma as well. On another note, here in the UK we have The Green party rising amongst young people and their bullshit policies like this gem of a double standard from their manifesto, illustrating the pussy pass mentality: CJ381 Recognising the nature of the female prison population, with high levels of mental illness, experience of being a victim of crimes such as sexual assault and domestic violence, and caring res…

This end-of-days theme reminds me of what I think is the most RP song ever: Airbourne: Too Much Too Young Too Fast http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uANVBPVaf-g check out the lyrics http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/airbourne/toomuchtooyoungtoofast.html Particularly: "I'll sit and spin for a little while If it's the end of days" The no-fucks-given attitude throughout the song is also compatible with TRP theory.
