1	I want a re-do I appreciate the response. The person I’m thinking of traveled for work for 10 years or so and was constantly living in new cities in the US. His work didn’t afford much free time. Your secondary regulator is for emergencies and (hopefully) rarely used. Additionally the hose is not very long- it would be very difficult to "dive" playfully tethered together like this and as others have pointed out - very unsafe.
