The fact that they had to make this series ought to tell us something about how accurate the red pill is. You’re only taking flak if you’re above target.

Desk jobs aren’t for everyone. Carpentry. Learn the trade, then buy fixer-uppers, renovate, and sell. Baker/pastry chef, learn the trade and start your own bakery. A scalable business model, the big money is in becoming a supplier of bread to restaurants, cafes, hospitals etc. I’m a software dev myself but I have friends who have done well in the trades. I had to pay an emergency locksmith once, very expensive. Based on that fact alone I would assume it’s a lucrative job.

That sucks. Maybe you should focus less on being a nice guy and more on yourself? Gym, nice threads, cool hobbies etc. If you’re overweight, focus on solving that.

Men are biologically programmed to want to have unrestricted sex with as many partners as possible because sperm is cheap. Women are biologically programmed to have sex with the highest status mate. Because sperm is cheap and pregnancies are expensive. There's no point in feeling guilty over this. Granted, our Western society was more stable when we had socially enforced monogamy, but that ship sailed a long time ago.

I had a single female late 30s colleague who had rather serious mental health issues and decided to get inseminated because, well not even simps would put up with her crazy shit long enough. I tried to talk her out of it by saying that one reason people had kids within wedlock was because if something happened to one parent, there's still the other one, and also bear in mind that she was not on speaking terms with her one remaining parent (the other one committed suicide). She of course didn't l…

Why do you chat with someone on a dating app for months without meeting up IRL? What an incredible waste of time. Sounds like she’s playing the long con or is crazy.

Sounds like she’s pricing herself out of the market. Probably a bit insecure as well since she feels the need to communicate this to other people. Maybe an alpha widow still pining for Chad who pumped and dumped her. Give her wide berth but stay polite.

A lot or actors/actresses are narcissists which might be the case here since she's clearly got no qualms about using you for content in her drama filled life. Imagine what she could have done to you if you've bedded her and consider this a lesson learned.

Coffee dates suck. Sitting accross her, no way to escalate. The only good thing about coffee dates is that they're cheaper than dinners. Low energy. If a woman specifically wants to meet over a coffee, she's bad news. I've bedded women I've taken on a walk in the park. It's great if the weather's good. You both get your blood pumping and you might get to sit down next to her on a secluded bench and escalate.

Western society, as OP says, has indeed shifted massively towards feminism. And to the left in general. Women tend to vote left. Beta cucks wanting to appease women as well. It’s pretty strange to me how clueless male feminists can be. This guy has a PHD and doesn’t understand basic biological urges. Go figure. The phrase ”useful idiot” springs to mind.

For a lot of women claiming to be ”feminist” is just a way of blending in. As soon as a masculine high value man enters their life they’re more than willing to submit. But woe to that man if he breaks frame.

Was responding to DudeWheresMyMoto1 who claimed the ”top of any hobby” was found in a city. I’m sure you can go surfing in San Diego and San Fransisco, but you’d be tripping over homeless people on the way to the beach in the latter. Also hiking is superior in the Alps and on the PCT. Surfing is better on Bali etc.

I enjoy outdoors stuff like skiing, nordic skating, surfing, scuba diving, hiking etc. You will not find that in any city. Nowadays you can also market your skills online. In the flesh networking can be done at conferences etc. Basically the only reason I can see for being in a city on a long term basis is to pull chicks due to selection and logistics. And that’s hard to get around.

You can be the richest swolest motherfucker on earth but you’ll not be getting any pussy if you’re living in the Alaskan wilderness. Cities also offer more job and business opportunities although one thing I expect to come out of this whole covid-19 thing is location independence when it comes to work. Employers will be more willing to let you work from wherever if you’re a knowledge worker. Other than that OP is spot on. City living sucks. Pollution. SJWs. Noise. And a city is no place to raise…

Used to have a friend like this. I distanced myself. Don’t need people in my life who have no self respect. I’m sure that as a friend you’ve already told him that he deserves better than a long distance relationship(When did that ever work?). The decision is his and you’ve got a life to live.

Let’s pick this apart: ” Women really, really, really do not like men who date younger women. They will be vengeful and angry and take whatever disciplinary action they can. Increasingly it has become far more effective to take things outside of the law, because Twitter mobs are incredibly effective.” In the SMP older men dating younger women only becomes a problem when Karen wants to lock down a beta provider at 30. Great post and it illustrates the problem with many naturals. They 95% of the time have a blue pill belief system and when they hit a bump in the road, they’re fucking clueless unlike an ordinary guy who had to struggle and overcome. For us this would just be another of life’s challenges, albeit a tough one.
/r/TheRedPill05/03/20 07:46 AM

Well yes and no. Most fertile women can make themselves more appealing to the opposite sex through exercise, pleasant manner, and by displaying a caring attitude. As an older guy I’d rather date a fit 40-year old displaying the above than an opinionated tatted up blue haired landwhale with a septum ring. I just can’t deal with the latter. At the same time I’d much rather bang a fit 20 year old than any fit post wall woman. The problem with feminism is that it lowers the bar for what’s acceptable…

There’s no reason to have anything to do with feminists at all. The only time you should have anything to do with them is if circumstances force you. Such as work or school. But make sure to evaluate the situation afterwards to see if it can be avoided in the future.

Oneitis: The myth about The One that will make your life perfect. It’s about as rational as the magical thinking of an OCD person who has to knock on the door three times before leaving home to prevent disasters from happening. If you fantasize about sipping on a mint julep while looking at Tyrone sweating then maybe there are other sexual strategies that would work better than The Red Pill.... Be that as it may, the horses are out of the stable and you can’t turn the clock back. The only thing you have full control over is yourself and the red pill is an excellent toolset. Well here’s a pill to make you forget. Buy Monsanto stocks! Co-parenting or JPC is a workable solution. Not ideal, but workable. Toddlers will still need their mom more, while teenagers need the strictness that a dad is better suited to provide, hence splitting time 50/50 from 0 to 18 years might not be best solution, but usually divorces happen when the kids are a bit older and mommy wants to ride the cock carousel again.

Thought experiment: Two jacked guys, one of them is a programmer, the other is a cop. Kids and there are other reasons to get married depending on in which country you live in. It’s my understanding that in some states in the USA the risks by far outweigh the possible benefits due to lopsided marriage laws etc. Heck, if I lived in California I’d probably be scared to even talk to women. AFAIK modern psychology was founded by Freud and Jung. Freud was more or less a coke-addled huckster, and Jung was the leader of a movement that can be best described as a cult. Both diddled their patients. So not exactly beacons of integrity. But therapy today is mostly CBT which is backed by research.

This: ’The lie is paper thin, and all pretext of feminists wanting to allow children to “be as they are” is casually discarded when it isn’t useful.’ Mental health problems among young men are skyrocketing. Largely due to social media and feminism. Stop treating little boys like defective girls.

Don’t agree. Romantic love was a luxury in the West 100 years ago. Relationships were about marriage, and marriage was about teaming up and facing life’s struggles together. Often by pooling the economic resources of two families. If you look at the stories about romantic love, they rarely had happy endings but instead ended in death and misery. Cases in point: Mme Bovary, Romeo and Juliet, Carmen etc. The stories that did end happily did so because the suitor had status and material wealth, i.e…

Rollo’s comment video on this guy is great. My three take aways from his analysis was: 1. The sex in Tech Lead’s marriage was always transactional. There was never genuine desire. 2. The woman had planned her exit and already had a Plan B guy waiting in the wings. 3. This guy is so blue pilled he blames himself. Well he should, for not doing his due diligence and wifing up a lazy gold digger, but not for not spending enough money.

Interesting post but the author is missing two trends: 1. Tinder is milking more and more money out of it’s male subscribers by forcing them to pay for more and more boosts in order to get the same amount of matches that they previously got for free. 2. Unhinged alpha widows are increasingly opting for IVF once they reach their mid to late 30s.

Which is why we don’t move in with them. I recently bumped in to one of my former single mom plates and asked her how she was doing and the subject of her troubled suicidal 15 year old son came up. Hjalmbere: ”So how is X doing?” Single Mom: ”He’s doing great. He’s on meds.” Yep, having a 15 year old son on meds is touted as some kind of achievement these days. Think there’s a big difference between co-parenting and actual single mom households. I’m in my 50s and have dated some single mom’s and one commonality I’ve noticed is the inability of single mom’s to set boundaries for their children. That’s mitigated by being with your dad 50% of the time. It’s my understanding that there’s a financial incentive to keep the father’s interaction with his children to a minimum in the USA. I’m certain that’s the root cause if many societal problems.

There’s way less perceived risk in modern society compared to 100 years ago for women who want to pursue a casual mating strategy. Of course most women who do so do it subconsciously, hence they get upset when there’s cognitive dissonance and consequently they lash out against the unfairness of the world. Not going to happen, because there is no need. Because young women tend to vote more to the left which is what Big Tech and the globalists want. The push is instead to weaponize sex accusations to silence dissenters by using the ”believe in women” trope pushed by feminists and their soycuck ”allies”. So she’s ”doing everything she can to get her life together” which I interpret that at this point it isn’t, you also say that she keeps you on your toes which makes it sound to me as if you’re operating inside her frame. Women who were sexually abused when they were young are usually both crazy in the head and crazy in bed. I think that’s what’s attracting you. I’m just some random asshole on the Internet and I don’t know all the details, but to me to me it sure sounds as if you’re setting yours…

True story: Guy I worked for back in the day was sued by an even bigger scoundrel. He hired a PI to track the guy’s movements. He then paid a woman to call the counterparty’s wife and say that her hubby had knocked her up while he was on a business trip. She even had the hotel and time right thanks to the PI. This was done to get the guy off balance. He had to deal with an irate wife as well as the lawsuit. Does OP have any enemies?

Red flag. Seems she’s emotionally disturbed. Most women are happy and cuddly after sex. Some might want you to leave if they just see you as a cock, but crying isn’t normal. Protip: If you’re at her place, ask if you can use the toilet. Snap a pic of her medicine cabinet. Check what the meds are for when you get home. ”Maybe that lean towards monogamy is a cultural thing,” no shit Rollo. Worked with some Indians and they seem to have very traditional expectations on family life. These expectations probably work fairly well as long as they marry within their culture. The problems only start when/if they think they can wife up some secularized Western woman and turn her into an Indian housewife. Good luck with that. It’s Oneitis with an Indian cultural twist.

A couple of additional thoughts: -Russia in 1950 is arguably one of the worst societies to ever exist. Even Portland would be better. Well almost. -62/100, and then deduct the damaged men driven to alcoholism by PTS from their experiences in the Gulag and/or WW2 plus the men currently being locked up in the Gulag, and you’re probably looking at something like 40/97 (Women were also sent to the Gulag, but to a lesser extent).

Spot on. Feminism and other totalitarian ideologies don't want you to work on improving yourself. Feminism and other totalitarian ideologies want women to be constant victims with an outer locus of control. The invention of the so-called Patriarchy was a stroke of genius. I’ve ran into girls like this. They are depressed or sad and just want to use you as a mental tampon. Don’t let them. Any amount of time you spend on trying to change their mind is time wasted and time better spent on seducing other women. Just tell them ”I don’t want to be your emotional tampon”. If OP is constantly running into women like this, it’s because he’s giving off a nice guy/beta orbiter vibe.

My take: Both Janice and Carol are past their prime and hence feel a need to tell their co-workers and friends how they’re still total hotties that get hit on. That’s a pretty common female behavior IMHO. The real takeaway here is company policy and how Carol imagining OP is looking at her ass can ruin his career. Promiscuity did exist, but for a number of reasons there was a lot less: 1) Promiscuous women had higher mortality because pregnancies were often lethal. 2) There was no cure for STDs such as syphilis until the 20th century. 3) Before the industrial revolution most people were farmers living in small tight-knit communities with little social or geographical mobility and high levels of social control. This is r-selection in practice. Human males display both the r-selection strategy(quantity) and k-selection(quality and investment in offspring). If you're a high SMV male, r-selection makes sense, if you are an average slob, k-selection makes sense from a reproductive perspective. From a woman's standpoint, a high SMV man who has no intention of investing in his offspring might still make sense, since she instinctively hopes an offspring from the high SMV man will inherit his attractiveness an…

Dating is a numbers game. An average guy in a big city will get laid more than a man with model looks who lives in Alaska. A male model will however have it really easy in a big city. I know a guy who is a former model. He gets more ass than a toilet seat, but even he will not get laid if he’s too drunk to put together coherent sentences. I contrast that with an aging rockstar I once saw in a bar. He was so drunk/high he couldn’t stand up. At the end of the night I saw two hot blondes carry him …

My reason for assuming that we’ve reached peak feminism is that radical movements of this type often commit suicide. I often look at history and try to find similarities. It’s not uncommon for revolutionary movements to become so radicalized that they start to destroy their own base and collapse. I think that’s what happening now, we have bat shit crazy trannies fighting bpd women. Reasonably sane women recognize that they have nothing to gain by siding with these freaks. If you managed to seduce a woman and you realize you both want to continue to see each other, I suggest planning activities together. It should be stuff you both enjoy, or stuff that you enjoy that she’s never tried where you can establish your leadership. This way you also get an opportunity to screen her personality and bond. One way to screen and bond would be if you’re an outdoors person. Take her on a one day hike. If she enjoys herself, you’re both good. If she whines constantly, next her.

Feminism is in it’s final stages now. The one’s remaining on the barricades are the shrillest harpies, most other women are backing down realizing that the leaders are fucking crazies. Just look at Rose McGowan and her reaction on Twitter after getting into a shouting match with a tranny at some book signing. It’s well known that the revolution always eats it’s own, but were the revolutionaries ever this crazy?

Doesn’t mean they’re increasing in numbers. Fewer American women are identifying as feminists today than 10 years ago. From a strictly biological point of view you are correct. But in modern western societies feminism is encouraging dysgenics by mitigating female sexual risk behavior. I’m 50, when I was in my 20s I had no game whatsoever. I used to get shit faced and tell women whatever stupid shit popped up in my booze addled brain. Usually something along the lines of ”you’re beautiful, I want to fuck you” while putting my arm around them. I still managed to get laid a couple of times (yes they were mostly skanks). But I have a nagging suspicion that had I been 20 doing the same thing now, I’d probably be in jail. I’m actually happy that I’m over the hill. Or maybe I’m exag…

You seem to have encountered a feminist bitch. You used to be able to tell which women to avoid by looking for feminist attributes such as blue hair and septum rings, but maybe this virus is now seeping into the mainstream and you’re no longer able to tell the good ones from the bad. She probably would have been a bitch also without feminism. But it’s feminism that tells her it’s ok to physically assault men. Also, she pegged you as an omega guy that it was safe to attack. Do you think she would…

It’s pretty much true. Normal people are afraid to speak up against the cultural-marxist elite as they might lose their job. Now that most sane people realized what a gigantic fiasco unregulated 3rd world immigration is, the SJW elite is focusing all their attention on #metoo. And #metoo in Sweden conveniently forgets about migrant gang rape, it’s mostly unsubstantiated accusations against successful white men. Other Scandinavian countries are nowhere near as bad as Sweden. Finland and the Balti…

Your reasoning regarding SHBG strikes me as somewhat flawed: E.g. your body also produces cortisol and high amounts of cortisol over prolonged periods are not good for you. However I’m always open to changing my mind, but that guy you posted a link to is an outlier. Do you have any links to actual studies? This study misses a very important parameter: Status Status is not earning power but relative power within the in-group. Status becomes more important when women have their own resources. Proof: Unemployed but reasonably talented artists and musicians get more pussy than shredded bankers. Sure, banker dude can slay if he makes an effort, but artists and musicians have women throwing themselves at them if they are in the right setting.

Is sexual harassment a real problem? Yes. Especially in parts of Europe where you have a high concentration of Muslim immigrants. Is #metoo a witch hunt aimed at heterosexual men? Yes. I suspect what this moral panic might result in is government mandated bad dating advice: ”Just be a nice unassuming guy. Be yourself.” The above is great news for red pilled men, but bad news for Western society.

The welfare state and 3-gen feminism have produced two different attitudes among women in the native Western populations: 1) Choosing career over family and kids for the more educated women. 2) Welfare moms carelessly breeding with bums at the lower end of the sexual marketplace. For males with low SMV one coping strategy is mail order brides, another is MGTOW. The dual nature of women's sexuality will not change because it's in their DNA. What I wonder is if there was ever a time when the divide between what mainstream culture claimed women want from men, and what the biological imperative actually dictates was further apart? Thanks for taking your time. Appreciate it. My final post on the subject as my vacation is winding up. A few comments*: Not a single historian mentions the resurrection until the 3rd or 4th century, and then only Christian historians. Synoptic Gospels claim Jesus died at 3 PM on the day of Passover, John claims it happened on the preparation day of Passover [19:14,31,42]. Yet they all claim it happened on a Friday. Among the anonymous Gospel authors, only Luke ever claims to be writing history. …

But there are many who have made similar claims, why should we believe Jesus is the one? Regarding alcohol: I'm not sure if quitting alcohol completely is the answer. I used to be what professionals call "a problem drinker", but this was because I used alcohol as a crutch. They would slut shame attractive and promiscous women who they felt were a threat to their marriage and by extension the social fabric. What are the options for a successful 35 year old female hot shot lawyer who wants to find a man? Maybe I wasn't clear enough, what I meant is that women in non-welfare states look more for provider traits and reliability. They also tend to be more traditional. They don't take the career route as often due to less generous maternity leave or tax laws that encourage one spouse to stay at home. Women in welfare states are encouraged to take risks and get knocked up by men who have social status and are sexually attractive but don't necessarily have provider traits. Feminism encourages a system…

A good job will increase your SMV more in a competitive economy without maternity leave and other social benefits. It will not have the same effect in a country where feminism is strong and/or female labor participation rate is high. The reason being that women in such societies will not be looking for provider traits, but more for status and looks.

"they" belong to a vocal but small fraction of the female population consisting of women who are too ugly and lazy to compete with other women for the affection of native males. And that is to say a lot about both their laziness and their ugliness since online dating has increased the SMV of all women. Same phenomenon as male sex tourists who go to Thailand, except these women are getting paid to take young male lovers.

Only goes to show that feminism is against nature. Men are hardwired to be attracted to young women with a certain hip/waist ratio because men are genetically programmed to engage in reproductive behavior. Old women have lost their ability to have babies. Obese women are subconscoiusly written of as either unhealthy i.e. not being able to produce healthy offspring, or as being pregnant. Lesson Learned: Don't listen to feminists. They are full of shit.

If logistics and time constraints restrict your opportunities for a SNL, ask her to help you select a tie or a belt, women love shopping and that creates a positive vibe. Good luck!

Indeed. Also, the blue haired land whales are red flags that are easy to spot and nobody wants to fuck them anyway. On a more abstract level however, the land whales pose a threat to all men, not just your Captain Save-a-hoe types, since they are influencing political decision making.

Good point. Tuberculosis morbidity is higher among men than among women for instance. Also, Spanish Flu killed 20-80% (local variations) more men than women. So maybe diseases played a part together with warfare.

I'm not saying the Soviets didn't monitor private conversations, I'm saying that they didn't police heterosexual behavior. The Soviets wanted tough men for their heavy industries and the Red Army. Teenagers as a concept didn't exist 80 years ago in the Western world. They still don't exist in 4th world countries where you have kids as soon as you've reached puberty. The reason for this prolonged adolescence is that it takes longer to acquire the skills needed to enter the labor market in order for you to have a job that allows you to provide financially for your family. In the 20s you got a job at the factory when you were 16 and probably got married when you were 19.

Of course the most aggressive advocates of this policy are women who also happen to be hardcore feminists. The percentage of wussies in western countries has probably risen, but the concentration is extra high around female SJWs, hence these women unconsciously look for danger. Those male feminists enjoy the power they are wielding at the moment, but will often end up being accused since they surround themselves with highly unstable female SJWs who can turn on them at any time. Clarification: I'm of the opinion that if you use one word to describe everything you don't like, the value of that word soon deflates, it loses it's meaning. A case in point would be the word 'fascist' which originally signifed an adherent to a totalitarian Italian ideology, but today is used to describe anyone who is against BLM, made up fantasy genders, or who thinks that being morbidly obese is unhealthy.

If you've got some life experience, maybe you're even divorced, and you go MGTOW after making a cost/benefit analysis and you devote your life to your hobbies such as hunting and fishing instead of spending all your money on grooming and dating so you maybe can get laid by some desperate cat lady, well more power to you! What I don't get is young men letting their bodies go to shit while playing video games. If that's MGTOW, then it's a tragedy.

While I understand why you wouldn't want to play daddy to another man's child, the part about giving up a child for adoption broke my heart. I would have ghosted this PoS broad waaay earlier even when I was at my most BP. But I digress. Congratulations for coming to your senses!!

As a Swede I can tell you Norway is nowhere as extreme as Sweden. I don't like throwing the word 'cuck' around, but my country is Cuck Central. There's simply no hope.

Just to give you an idea of how extreme Sweden is: Our government prides itself on being the only country in the world with a feminist foreign policy. To compare Sweden with the rest of Scandinavia when it comes to gender and multicultural madness is like comparing the New York Yankees with Junior League baseball.

Interesting post. I think the reason why Red Pill is growing is due to the Internet which allows men to communicate while remaining anonymous, but also due to the fact that the cognitive dissonance has become too glaring for many BP men. In the West, men are net contributors to society when it comes to paying taxes. Men as a group also make inventions and protect the weak. We are told to py up and shut up, and that all society's ills are caused by toxic masculinity. Basically to an SJW there's n…

This is some serious virtue signalling. This guy is trying to parlay his victimhood into celebrity. OP asked what's up with Sweden and Norway, and as a Swede I'll have to try to at least describe what is up with Sweden. Below is a list of circumstances that have created the perfect shitstorm of feminism and identity politics: -Swedish culture is consensus based. -Swedish politics tend to focus on one or two questions at a time. -Swedish politicians love international careers in the EU and the UN…

100 years ago this sentiment benefited the common good. It was more common marriages ended because one of the spouses died. Divorce was very rare and any healthy human surviving into adulthood was a resource, an extra hand helping out on the farm.

I'm not from the USA so I'm not sure what the typical welfare bum is like over there, but the few welfare bums I've met in my country have oddly had unreasonably high self esteem, a weird sense of entitlement, and also held working stiffs in low regard. They thought they deserved to suck the government's teat. I might be going out on a limb, but I'm guessing that you didn't have high self esteem when you were down and out, and that is probably what made you get your act together.

True, women have degrees, but few of them in STEM subjects. Hence SJWs have to invent needs through social engineering for crap like gender studies. I would like to see salary averages for gender studies majors as compared to skilled carpenters btw. I'm betting that many women would end up living more fullfilling lives if they maximized their attractiveness instead of getting degrees in subjects they're not really interested in.

I agree with your basic premise about society wanting to raise wussies, but then we part ways. First of all, not sure about the "no counsel" bit. Columbine shooters, Elliot Rodger and the Virginia Tech shooter all got help from mental health professionals. Not that it did any damn good. These are people who can't handle rejection or adversity and who manipulated and lied to the mental health professionals who were trying to help them. Aren't a lot of school shootings commited by guys who can't get any traction with girls? Not sure what you mean by valuing yourself, but this is a guy who still holds himself in high regard despite the fact that he has accomplished nothing. He's always had high self esteem and this helped him a lot with women in his younger days. It's actually a very interesting case since here we have a guy who's sexual strategy and SMV curve mimics that of a woman. He peaked in his 20s and mooches of his girlfriends/wives.

One way to fight this is to avoid the types of women who will falsely accuse you of rape and/or the situations where such an accusation might be levelled against you. One such type is the woman with the jealous and violent boyfriend. She will use a rape accusation as an alibi to avoid negative consequences. Case in point: A female acquantaince had sex with a guy she met at a party, a rumour got out, she then claimed she got raped. Her bf went ballistic and beat up the accused rapist. She withdre…

Nowhere did I say Dali was normal or that I think it's 'okay' if that is what you are implying. You wrote 'Everyone needs to realize they just made this really extreme shit up in the last decade or so. Historically it has no history to it. The shit is a creation of the psychopaths.' I'm saying this is nothing new. Also, judging by Google Trends there's no massive increase in popularity either.
/r/TheRedPill20/07/16 11:04 AM

I searched for 'cuckold, 'anal sex', 'lesbian','divorce' on Google Trends and the interest for cuckold porn was the lowest of the three search terms by far although there's been a steady but minor increase in searches using 'cuckold'. Divided by region 'cuckold' searches seems to be the most popular in Italy. Concidentally searches using 'divorce' are trending down somewhat over the last three years.

On the contrary. I heard this twice over the last month from two different women. One was skinny, the other one had a really nice body. One was divorced with two kids, the other one had never been married. Looks a bit jaded for the never been married one, but still ok for shits and giggles. The divorcee was a 9 except for needing a boob job (breast feeding two kids), which I noticed when the bra came off. I do fatties too, but only if they are really kinky.

I'm totally not into fat women so Rubens paintings don't do it for me, but I can see why it would be a signal that a woman belonged to a certain social class if she was a)pale b)fat.
