As I said, it's a public decency thing. I'm personally on the side of "Willing to make a little extra effort to make the next person more comfortable". I like it when people pay these kinds of little things forward, and am willing to pay a little more than I receive. If you agree with that, you should put it down by default. Because, greater than 50% chance the next person will need it down.

The default is that the seat is down because there is a greater than 50% chance that the next person will need it to be down, men also poop. It's really not a gender thing, at least to me. It's a statistics and public decency thing. I leave the seat in the way I think the next person would like.

Because if you are willing to pay that effort it's just objectively logical to put the toilet seat down. In more than half of the cases the next person will need it to be down, as there are also men who need to take a shit. And I would argue you should pay that effort. I could imagine that those toilets have no liftable seat. And I could imagine some men piss on the seat. Yes, women's bathrooms are also dirty, maybe dirtier than men's, but I doubt that they piss on the seat. That would just take extra effort.

Okay, so you agree that in general women have been prosecuted by men and you were not right to laugh at that. Yes, women are convicted of rape and domestic violence exceedingly rare. But that is not an error in the system. I talked to a case manager in sexueel abuse cases. He sees upwards of 1000 cases a year, and one or two of those have a female suspect. By the way, who is arguing in bad faith when you can me a 'naive motherfucker'

Well, I'm sorry but you're simply wrong. Sure, there are ways in which men are superior to women, mainly in strength and spatial reasoning. There are also ways in which women are superior: They live longer (wiki) They reach emotional maturity earlier than men. And generally have better emotional intelligence than men. (wiki) In this way they are less like children than men. They can grow a new human inside their bodies.
