When I transferred laterally at my last job, they hired a woman to replace me. It was widely rumored that she was paid significantly more than I was, (even though when I asked for a raise it was "too much" and "nobody made that much") dispite the fact that I had significantly more knowledge, training, and ability than she did. (Hell, I had to bail her out a few times.) I would certainly love to hear the justification for that.

Headline is incredibly misleading. It alludes that the couple went after the donor when in fact the state did because the donor didn't follow the rules. Not actually terrible for men. Not great, but not terrible.

If that's true, then neither can left-leaning sources, which means we are without any reporters of facts whatsoever, as everyone leans at least a little bit in one direction or another on any given issue. I am a firm believer in the idea that the Men's Rights movement should also actively support women's rights. Feminists got it wrong when they actively tried to put men down; we should do the right thing and support ALL rights. (Focus on men, yes, but not at the expense of others)

Give it time... Maninists (my word) will get here eventually. 3rd wave feminisn has actually given us one very good thing; an example of what NOT to do. /r/mensrights can fall a little too far into the "maninist" spectrum sometimes. I try to bring it back center when I can. If that costs me some karma, so be it. The best thing for humanity is to recognize everyone's rights and roles in society, and respect them.

Not sure about specifics, but the feminism that got women the right to vote and work in the workplace were good. If those came with some man-hating, that's not so good but at least the end result was nobile. 3rd wave feminism has no nobile end-goal except "OMG MEN ARE TERRIBLE!"

While normally I fully agree that there should be evidence and an investigation, it's an open secret that Hollywood careers are made on the casting couch. I'm glad that this horrible practice is finally having a light shined on it and perpetrators are being called out. I think that legal investigations should proceed and those found guilty should face criminal charges, but Hollywood needs a good shaking right now, and the women there need to know it'…

Wonder Woman is an un-established (as far as films go) series with uncertain moneymaking potential. Equality isn't a bullshit word, people just don't apply it properly. We need equality of opportunity, not equality of outcome.
