But you wont ever be fully satisfied with her.

I disagree. I went to a 15year high school reunion recently. Im 34 going on 35. All of the hot jocks and cute nerds from highschool aged like me and do not look as good as they did in their teenage years and 20s. (I have gone to all of my highschool reunions) Men and women age the same. Men say they age better but they dont- society is just a bit more forgiving with them aging. But purely from an objective visual point- they actually dont age better.

Not thats your selfish delusional definition of loyalty. They are the same thing for both sexes. Also another flaw of your statement is men expect women to contribute financially now too.

Men over 30 are also less attractive than their younger selves. I went to a 15 year highschool reunion recently and all the hot jocks were not as good looking as they were in highschool.early 20s.

Even when she doesnt gain weight, he usually just takes her for granted but accepts the relationship doesnt feed his superficial ego. Majority of men are realistic and wont blow up a marriage over the feeling of dissatisfaction though.

You over exaggerate the amount of relationships that exist with such an age disparity. They are statistically rare and ones that last are even more statistically rare. Youre a Leonardo DiCaprio wannabe.

But you value your wife less and pretty much just use her for her other qualities while yearning for other women.

You are trying to find logic in Red Pill...just stop. There is no logic. Well really the answer is Red Pill men either become Leonardo DiCaprio or they cheat on their wives once they turn 30. If they dont cheat they are miserable.

Also studies show women are financially worse off after divorce while men emotionally- kinda contradicts your women raping men theory.

All that statistic proves is that women are indeed in charge of household management. The majority of divorces are BEHAVIORALLY initiated by men, but they are too lazy to petition the court first. You act like the men of this statistic are men that are getting served papers that been great husbands to their wives, are begging their wife to not divorce them (most actually are fine with it...they just wont petition first) and are actively trying to fix their marriage. Very small % fall into that s…

Not me. Not trying to brag, but I do think Im one of the most happily married people in my social circle. Of the few female friends Ive had that have admitted they settled, they do not care. They say its going well but thats because they do not care they settled. Why dont they care? All of these women are the types of women that cannot be alone, dont enjoy dating and filtering through men (they are flabbergasted when I describe all of my past dating encounters) and are the types that would rathe…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 05:56 PM

Yes exactly. Women arent willing to settle because we dont need relationships to survive. Men havent picked up the slack. They think having a financially stable job is enough (even though they expect women to be financially stable now and to have a long list of other traits) Women nowadays in particular are expecting men to bring more socially and emotionally to the table (which men havent always done and will always expect women to bear the brunt of this) and they cannot handle it.

Its because Western men who are in search of high quality women arent high quality themselves. They are delusional about their self worth. Western men who are actually high quality (attractive, hard worker, compassionate, protector/listener) have no issues finding a quality partner. Men like this are extremely rare and thus, they have the pick of the litter for the best women in America.

"In shape guy who works multiple jobs to support his wife and treats her like a best friend - she brings loving mental and physical companionship and a well taken care of home" I am a Western woman and this is my marriage to a Western man. This post is weird. The Eastern European female friends Ive had are among the harshest critics of looks I have ever met and some of the most appearance focused commenters Ive interacted with. Its probably because obesity and just being overweight is not common where they are from. Some of these people even say rude things to American women who are at a healthy weight but are simply busty or have large hips too because being curvy is somewhat genetic and there are less curvy people where they are…

Any woman who doesnt do the things you listed in your post will have a hard time dating. Im actually friends with females like this- they roll out of bed and just brush their hair and teeth. They dont style their hair, they dont wear makeup, they wear plain nonfashionable clothes. Even the women who are just naturally thin like this with a good personality have a hard time dating. One of my old roommates is like this and she got very very little male attention. Why? Its because women like you de…

I overheard growing up people telling my brother that you have to sleep with a girl early or she loses interest in you. Meanwhile, I rejected men that pressured me too quickly for sex that I actually did genuinely like outside of their pressuring. I dont regret it because we simply werent compatible.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 05:22 PM

Ahhh you have a lower bar for sexually satisfying then. Yeah, this guy was super immature.

I used OLD apps extensively for almost a decade, from ages 20-28, even though I hated it. I did it because I had to to meet people (most of my friends were introverted and in serious relationships, I work in a female dominated field and wasnt open to dating co workers anyway, I dont like bars/clubs) I hated it because it was a pressure cooker for getting to know someone and also it has major disadvantages to getting to know someone. If you compare the men I dated who I met organically to the maj…

There are alot of other legal benefits of marriage. It would take me too long to type all of them...and yes, you can do most of them without marriage but its a lot of work. For me, I like marriage for social and emotional reasons.

I mean most people, men and women, are serial monogamists today but I think its more once the honeymoon phase wears off- typically between 1-3 years of dating- people do not want to work for their relationship and rather just get a "new thing."
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 04:48 PM

Yeah I dated men who thought like you and I passed on dating them. I actually once rejected an extremely distant co worker who I otherwise liked ( a co worker who worked for a company my company occasionally interacted with, but I never directly worked with him ) because he thought like you. He got mad and complained about me to anyone who would listen at work. I told him repeatedly I wouldnt be able to sexually satisfy him and he focused way too much on sex for my values. I didnt want to date s…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 04:38 PM

But in that "lets see where this goes" attitude, which is a pretty vague statement, are you open to a relationship with the person assuming you like them? That isnt casual sex or at least it isnt to me. Yes, sexually compatibility is important but its one part of the puzzle, I am also assessing the person on other things.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 04:07 PM

I agree with your statement- chemistry, common goals/morals/values/lifestyle is more important. Peoples interests change over time anyway and I always pick up new interests while in relationships. "Just be yourself" is overrated. Sure, this is great for someone who is a catch emotionally, mentally and physically. But sadly, many people need to instill more self improvement values and are self absorbed. This is bad advice for self centered, mean spirited and shallow people.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 03:11 PM

I'd be fine with it. I'd actually probably wouldnt want to date him though...men who take women on very extravagant dates as a first date tend to do it because 1) theyre insecure and overcompensating 2) because they want sex at the end of the night and view it as a transaction 3) they are the type who is rich and sees women as golddiggers. (Unlike most women you describe on here, I'm turned off by men who make significantly more than me and it disrupts the power balance) Most of the men I know w…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 03:08 PM

For me, casual sex means you know you dont want a relationship with the person and you still want to have sex with them. Going on 6 dates with someone, enjoying them and thinking "oh if this continues I'd like to be in a relationship with them" then sleeping with them as part of the natural progression...and then 2 dates later seeing a red flag or side of them you dont like (happened to me frequently with OLD) then you decide to stop seeing them...that isnt casual sex to me. Going on a date with…

Exactly, theres no point in giving up video games. Men get into relationships then take advantage of their partner and abuse video games while expecting their partner to deal with it.

I dont treat people differently based on the way they look. I am highly attracted to people who have strong character, for both platonic and romantic, rels, when I realize someones character isnt too great I back off. I actually was kind of known in my younger years for befriending people who were outcasts. I never really did it on purpose (or even realized I was doing this until someone bluntly pointed it out) I did it though because I noticed kids who were outcasts tended to have better charac…

What if the girl isnt naturally trusting? You know there are some jaded girls who think its weird when a man actually acts interested in them as a person?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 05:32 AM

This. I've vetted a few Red Pill minded men in my 20s doing this. Their toxic views on relationships always came out at some point.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 05:30 AM

Yes, you need to pass a looks test to be with your partner but needing to exercise for an hour everyday is overkill. Whenever I dated and found out a man exercised that much, it almost always was a red flag because it 99% of the time meant they were WAY too into women's looks. All the men I dated except for one who exercised that amount were way too superficial (and much later, critical of my looks once their guard eventually came down)
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 05:28 AM
2

LOL, I used OLD apps for almost 10 years. I dated so many men who made comments I was the more attractive one (I didnt really agree- I also use a pass/fail system and not rating because Im not obsessed with looks unlike men- but others outside of our rel would comment on it too) I never had a problem with this. Like I said- pass/fail on looks, then personality and character is the most important. Actually, most men failed the personality and character part.

Delusional men who are 4-6ish at best thinking they are settling for a woman who is a 6 or 7 is RAMPANT on OLD apps. The worst part is they think a 6 or 7 is a 4-6 like them...LOL.

No men expect you to be having hobbies, social life nor emotional support, this is what women expect from men. What planet do you live on? Being on the thinner side is the bare minimum of looks standards for women. Men have specific body types and body shapes they prefer and very few women have it with little to no work.

Im a weirdo. I prefer to get dumped than to dump someone and dont enjoy rejecting people. I am a nice person, I have too much empathy and dont like making others feel bad about themselves (unless they are really rude to me, then I dont care) I have found when I have rejected perfectly fine men politely they often take it personally and I hate seeing it.

Thats because you cherry pick your studies. It affects men too. High n count men dont fall in love and become bonded securely to just one woman for the rest of their life. Studies for both sexes show the more history of casual sex the more likely you are to divorce. A high n count man is a liability, its the same the way men view high n count women. This forum greatly exaggerates the differences between men and women when it really comes down to the individual. Sorry to burst your egotistical fa…

So basically you're an average woman? Thats what is expected of women: keep your body, keep your 40 hour a week financially contributing job, keep up your energy for a social life/hobbies/emotional support of your husband, do house chores (probably more than your fair share)
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 04:21 AM

No it doesnt mean that. Go to the divorce subreddits here and people describing growing apart doesnt mean what youre thinking. Its two people losing their emotional connection over time.

No, alot of women dont like high n count men because we dont value casual sex. Smart women also know high n count men are emotionally damaged and not really all that capable of true love. There are so many studies showing the more people someone sleeps with the less they can pair bond. High count men cannot pair bond through sex so theyre essentially worthless for a LTR. Theres no point in having consistent sex with a person who doesnt care and doesnt bond through it. They just see women as hole…

Yep and this reply confirms that Chads make terrible LTR partners. If you can easily rebound from a LTR like you state, then you werent really ever into the person. I dont think Chads are really emotionally capable of being "in love" I'd rather someone less emotionally damaged than a Chad.

These men live in La La Land. I did OLD apps extensively for 10 years and rarely had a guy do that, not a single one 5 star. Even ones that call me hot. They take 1% of dating interactions and generalize it to everyone.

The problem with your argument is that the vast majority of custody cases are decided OUTSIDE of court where the father agrees for the mother to have more than 50% custody. Most men who want 50% custody and dont live far away never tried through the court system.

I agree with this replier except it only applies to young and dumb people. I met older people who are quite mature in other ways but when it comes to dating and the opposite sex, they are very immature. Some people dont grow up. One of my cousins in his 40s is like this, he got married recently but only because he felt he had to. It depends on the illness and severity. As someone who worked with disabled individuals for many years, I agree with you on SOME illnesses and their severity. You can be a feminist and still value traditional relationships. Feminism is the belief other women can do what they want while you do what you want. For instance, many of my SAHM friends think women should be able to work like men, but they personally didnt want to work with little kids. You also dont know the REASONING behind some relationship choices. A lot of feminist and traditional relationships dissected on here are actually set up for practical reasons in everyday life and arent due to "…

Overweight woman. According to male forums I lurk, men find it a turnoff if a woman has EVER been overweight (they believe she will easily go back to that if she loses weight and she will pass along overweight genes to their kids if they have any) So shes pretty much damaged goods. In todays economy especially, its not uncommon to be broke and you can always get a job.

Be careful with this one. I dated alot in my 20s and Ive been wrong. Once dated a handsome, sociable, extroverted guy who seemed a bit superficial later on and he made me wait for sex. Said he only slept with 1 girl and he needed sex to be "special" An average looking, introverted, sometimes kinda unpleasant guy had a long history of casual sex (turn off for me, he volunteered the info though) and I would have never guessed.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 02:47 PM

N count also makes no sense. I care about the circumstances of the sex as it indicates sexual values. A guy with a count of 10 but they were all girlfriends or he was dating them hoping it to turn into something is WAY better than a guy with 4 but all the women he viewed as casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 02:46 PM

If someone only uses OLD apps to date and doesnt date in their social circle, it is so easy to lie. I dont think Ive ever asked a man's n count and have only had one guy ask for mine.

I may be biased, but I find my husband quite hot and he had no issues committing to me. Our daughter is extremely cute, also not biased there. Normal, common men satisfy women. They satisfy certain TYPES of women. Alot of men are interested in these types of women. Maybe because they arent usually knockout beauties. I did alot of dating in my 20s and I chose 2. It worked out well for me. Got married when I was 30.5, pregnant at 32. Im 34 and trying for my second.

90% of men on here who complain average women dont like them overshoot on looks. PEOPLE do this. Ive met MANY men who pick ill natured women and nobody tells these men they need to "pick better" I think men are also turned off by weakness. There is a sizable portion of the population that quite frankly has baggage and attachment problems mostly from their childhood. Thats why this sort of things usually happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 03:32 AM

Yep. Men have very high standards (though they dont perceive it that way, they are entitled) while the women shouldnt have high standards/are demonized for having the same standards as men. It paid off for me though. I have an awesome husband and Ive met very few women as happily married as me.

That because the vast majority of men dont ask for it. The vast majority of custody cases are determined OUTSIDE of court (which is the mans choice too btw, he can go to court at any time) where the man ALLOWS the woman to have more custody.

Men work and then come home and do nothing. Women work and then come home and do unpaid work. In sociology this is called "second hypothesis shift" it actually is a major contributor to divorces. Women dont care about the pregnancy and birth and postpartum costs. I don’t know how women feel, but I’ve heard a lot that women struggle with feeling “good enough”. In the past I struggled with this and struggled with balancing expectations. Come live and date in and near DC. Men judge women for low paying jobs all the time, they do not want to take on the burden of a woman who cannot provide for herself financially. FDS is the female equivalent of TRP. FDS is very big on self improvement and learning how to vet and select a nontoxic partner. FDS also does this for friendships too, not sure if TRP does that. People who say FDS doesnt do this dont actually consistently read there. But they do take their hate too far at times and likely will scare off the kind of man they say they want. Same for TRP. The only part of FDS that I personally liked and learned things from is the vetting partners part.

One thing to keep in mind with "preselection" in your social group is the quality of your social group. If a man is standoffish or even rude to a woman, how likely is she still going to be attracted to him just because he has been preselected by another woman? This depends on the woman. Yep, dating average looking men (Ive seen pictures of men rated as average on this forum, some of them reminded me of my exes, lol) who are my height or at least an inch taller, who doesnt treat me like shit, who can hold a conversation, and who doesnt want the entire relationship to be about them and their needs...yep those are high standards. 1% of men are shorter than the average female in American (5 ft 4) Its easy for a man under 6 ft to find a woman shorter than him to date. Most women just dont want a man their height or shorter. Height is WAY overblown on here. The average male is overweight but wants a thin woman. Stop focusing on height and focus on weight instead.

This. This replier understands the difference between heavy and clown. Men want a perfect face which is heavy " natural looking" makeup. They are oblivious to how much effort goes into this and then want a woman like this but feel tricked if she spends more than 5 minutes a day on makeup. No woman rolls out of bed with no makeup or 5 minutes of makeup looking this good (the picture on the left) Men: Women spend too much time on makeup, they trick us, they are decitful Also Men: (Woman has a natu…

All of society constantly hammers in on young boys that if they are not having sex then they are losers. Well women routinely reject and mitigate the stress from society's expectations, so men should do the same. Just because society tells you so doesnt make it right. I resist the urge to focus heavily on my looks and try to look like a model everyday, I also resist the urge to be the "perfect mom" while working full time (2 things nailed into women over and over by society) Grow a backbone and …

I have dated several virgins and none of them told me upfront either, they sprung it on me months after dating. I care more about having dating experience than sex experience because sex can be learned and each guy is different anyway- men who havent dated at all tend to be so much work and you have to have the patience of a saint and often serve as a rehab center. One thing I did note though with male virgins- alot of men want to have sex with multiple women and even if the first woman they sle…

As someone with many toxic uncles who have a strict 50/50 rule (with wives who make less money than them) you are right. Also my uncles expected their wives to not work for 8 years at all while their multiple kids were young (because apparently daycare is bad and not worth it) and they also won't necessarily pay for any extras. Their marriages are so toxic and literally everyone Ive met that has figured out this dynamic outside of my family roasts these men on a regular basis.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 05:31 PM

Alot of men who think the women should do 50/50 on everything with dramatic income differences (rent, utilities) wont pick up the tab either or at least not consistently...so your past partner is not common. These men have 50/50 mindset because they dont want anyone to depend on them financially and this carries over into random purchases. Really, in order for the partnerships to not be toxic and unfair they just need to be with a woman who makes close to the same amount of money as them.

Yeah, I'd cringe if my son called women by numbers on their looks ratings...actually thats one of my biggest red flags a guy is a misogynist. Funny how you never hear women doing that. Also, I dont really find that the most attractive people make terrible partners. Attractive people definitely can have a good personality and character. Lots of people are struggling right now to pay bills due to inflation and high COL. LOts of poorer women around to date. You may have issues finding them because many poorer people dont want to date. They are too stressed, work alot and don't have money for activities. However, this depends on the guy. If he wants to have leverage and doesnt mind that kind of power dynamic, sure. Most men, around 75%, that I met wanted a financially stable woman, even ones I've met on the poorer side, so you'd b…

Yes, fertility declines in women's 30's and does so a bit more in women's late 30's but it is really being overblown here. Going for a woman who is ages 28-30 versus one who is 35 is really not a guaranteed way to ensure youll have children. So no, im not an outlier! I strongly disagree with OP th…

That wasnt OP's point. He is saying men should focus on dating women UNDER 35 for fertility reasons. Well when I was 30, and probably even younger, I had poor fertility. Yet ALL OF MY FRIENDS 35+ got pregnant quickly. Imagine if some guy picked me because he thinks Im more fertile? Jokes on him. For both men and women fertility starts to decline in their 30s, more so in their late 30s, and even more so in their 40s. Depends on where you are looking. Most couples ultimately end up together that are in the same socioeconomic status. There arent too many couples with dramatic income differences (outside of temporary SAHMs from childcare cost reasons) People on this forum hate Female Dating Strategy. Weird thing is I used to visit that forum and saw tons of posts where moderators told women like you describe they need to make money for themselves and stop being golddiggers.

Yeah these women are trash and dont represent most women. This is like me thinking one extremely shallow ex I had (he was a tad overweight yet he thought a woman with a 19 BMI was FAT) is like all men. I know he was an extremely shallow exception. Most women want a man their height or taller. Considering that 1% of men are shorter than the average woman I think thats doable.

It is hypocritical for a woman to only date men who make 6 figures when she makes minimum wage...never said it wasnt. Shes unrealistic. Actually, male fertility declines in their 30s and even more so in their 40s. Quality of sperm goes down. I know WAY too much about fertility since I have had fertility issues. Male fertility is very much underlooked in conceiving a healthy child. Also you should look at my other comment in this thread where 12 of my female friends in my social circle, all ages 31+ , conceived much easier than me and without issue, even though I was among the youngest.

Who are the men from this study and where can I find them? I very rarely meet men who do 1/4th of what is listed. There isnt an incentive. Its a catch 22 for women: men wont date you if you dont sleep with them (and they expect it pretty dang early now) but then they judge you when you have a past. So basically you have to be an attractive likeable woman (who of course will get male attention) but you have to not slept with many of the men who express interest in you, and then when she meets you since you are special she HAS to feel you're the exception! and sleep with you early. There are studies with observation, not self surveying, that show this. Married couples agree to have the rooms in their house and yard filmed when they arent sleeping (usually a set schedule) and researchers review them...these dont calculate planning into their list of duties though, so if a wife or husband is calling to schedule doctor appointments that time is not calculated.

No, I'd rather a man reject me if he isnt attracted to me. Why would I want to be with a guy not attracted to me? Sounds awful. Some of your examples involve a power imbalance in relationships where the man really is after being the one in control (older men going for younger women is definitely a good example of this, younger women are easier to manipulate, same with passport bros) so I get that.

Most women are given multiple high value options so they have no reason to settle at their "league". I dated intensely for a decade bud and never have been on a date with an extremely fit, rich dude or had such a dude be interested in me. So you are wrong. You on paper seem amazing, so if cannot get chicks to look your way it is because your personality is offputting. No amount of money or looks can overcome that. Women dont want to date men who hate women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/23 03:51 PM

Thats because women dont obsess over looks the way men do. World hunger and cancer would be distant memories if men channelled the energy they spend obsessing over women's looks into something else. For most women, attraction is a pass or fail. None of this "he's a 3.5" or "his eyes are slightly better, but his butt is a bit flatter" "Hes a 5 but on months he works out more hes a 6" Most men here are quite frankly pathetic. You dont really know for sure how she'd react if you broke up. She may grieve intensely for a short period of time and move on to the next guy and act the same way. I have a girlfriend who is very intense with every single boyfriend she has had yet I would never tell her current man that. She is just the kind of person who fully loves in general. Im a Lib and I agree with you, but the part where I lose most people is it applies to men too. They have done studies showing the more history of casual sex, the less likely your marriage will last and not end in divorce. For BOTH genders. It isnt the casual sex itself changing peoples brains making them into bad partners. Its the personality/character traits that lead someone to pursue casual sex also make them a poor candidate for a LTR. Specifically: hedonism, egoism, impulsivity, more prone …

The provider thing for men isnt really the case anymore. Very very few people can have one person not working. Its not sustainable to have a family on one income nowadays. The overwhelming majority of women work. In fact 1/3rds of American couples involve a couple where the woman makes more. When PPD men argue with me they usually cite the top 5-10% richest men. The average man has a wife that works. The only time this isnt the case is depending on where you live, you see a lot of SAHMs for youn…

I dont take seriously any looks "ratings" posted by men on this forum. I constantly see men posting pictures of women they consider to be 4s, 5s, and 6s, who are clearly ABOVE average. Your 5 is likely skewed and shes probably way above a 5 in reality. Men on PPD have very harsh ratings for looks. I used to engage with men here who did this rating thing until I realized y'alls ratings are nuts...probably part of your problem.

It only works on certain types of women. Ive noticed men doing the things you listed and I immediately stopped seeing them. As you can see OP, men are just as picky as women usually. They tie up everything you listed as dealbreakers by stating they can't exist as they would fall under the other main traits you listed (So they do actually see them as dealbreakers lol) they do actually have a laundry list like women, it's just their main needed traits encompass much more nuance and behaviors than women's main traits. Very interesting to see the mental gymnastics here

Culture is a huge reason why people can cheat. There are many countries like this that treat women literally like cattle and slaves...and its why I laugh hysterically at men that say men have been oppressed throughout history. I guarantee you if there was a country where women held that kind of power over their husbands, theyd cheat too and get a second husband. Duh.

Hate to break it to you, but as a happily married woman and with more dating experience than most people that post here, I dont use sex as a weapon. I dont think Ive ever not had sex for punishment. Plenty of women love sex (some even more so than their spouse) You should get some therapy.

I didnt say safety. I said rich man (or back then, their version of a rich man) When I said "men stay silent" I was referring to this forum, not Red Pillers. Red Pillers are crazy and a waste of my energy.

I do understand that part \^ Im curious how people find this out. Alot of people dont openly talk about their past. Also, people can change how long they wait with each date based on factors having nothing to do with their date...example: some women will sleep quicker with a guy who was their friend first, as they already know him better than a random OLD and feel comfortable with him. They may decide to take a new dating approach after they realize having sex too soon clouds their judgment (fro…

they have major character defects or social deficits IRL but we cant tell online they hang with the wrong crowd/pursue the least compatible type of women with them are extremely introverted and give up easily in dating. Not good as it is tough to find the best match so it is a numbers game The most common reason IMO- since they have so much going for them and are a catch, they dont want to settle and thus, they need a high quality girl who is ALSO into them. Not as easy as it sounds.

AKA men have no leverage to force women into relationships with them and make them dependent on them. Why would men want this? its so when they treat women like crap they cant just leave them. Men who say that have control issues.

Im a woman and before my husband I dated a man for a year who refused to have sex with me (he had sexual hangups from his previous abusive rel that he didnt communicate to me until towards the end of our rel) I thought he would come around, hence why I dated for a year. I was very patient and it did not pay off for me, and he otherwise was not compatible with me anyway once the honeymoon phase ended. The problem I see with this is men pick and choose what parts of evolution to justify their behavior. Whenever you get to the part in evolutionary history where women and their children died if they werent partnered with a rich man (well, money didnt exist, but their version of rich) it gets real silent... And actually, I took many evolutionary psychology courses in college and I remember learning about how women cheat and sleep around, but are just much more likely to do it during their ovulati…

Depending on your social circle size, its likely not a large enough sample size to really draw conclusions. Its anecdotal. I made statements like this all the time (not about looks, but other sweeping generalizations) in my early to mid 20s but the type of people I was exposed to was not very wide and my social circle, looking back, was not big enough to confidently say such things. Yes nowadays you are correct- youd have to be super wealthy to be the sole provider. Im not hypergamous. That word means dating UP. I want to date someone AT my level. Huge difference. Its more fair. Luckily, my husband is at my level.

I think alot of the times it is correct. HOWEVER due to selfishness in today's dating culture being rampant and actually accepted, I think sometimes its not true. For instance, I often observe relationships where the man refuses to compromise and wants everything his way and he treats the woman bad. People say "oh hes just not that into you" yet he treats literally every woman this way, even ones he admits he loves...in this case, its not true, the guy just sucks.

My thoughts are its not surprising OF is becoming so popular. Most men in the USA nowadays are obsessed with the superficial parts of relationships. This is exacerbated in dating by the reality that one group or party (men) is far more invested in the outcome than the other (women). I lost my virginity later than average and several men explicitly told me it was a turn off and they wanted a woman with a higher body count. Based on my dating experience, most men want a woman who is too good for him. There are all these average looking, dishonest, boring, cold, emotionally blah men that want a hot, honest, emotionally supportive and amazing, funny, caring woman. Theres a few who are more realistic and would be ok with someone at their level, or they are really smart and try to work on themselves to land their ideal girl and actually be a match for her.

Typical entitled answer. Because when a woman asks, its not uncommon for men to not be honest. They know if they are honest, she wont sleep with him. I always preferred men who didnt watch it, and if they did, very little. I dated many men with porn addictions or who watched alot of it. When I was young, I had a free view of it but Ive changed my mind on it. Why? Differences are more attributed to personality/character/disposition than gender which I think is more accurate. There is more variability between one group of men than there is between men and women overall.

DING DING DING. Thank you :) Of course men are hornier. The main reason is they dont reap the consequences of it. (2nd IMO is social conditioning) The human race wouldnt have survived so long if women were very horny all the time.

I agree with the 87% study you posted...however, thats because the average man is too selfish in bed to actually give the girl an orgasm or for a smaller % of women, they cannot orgasm easily. The majority of women do not orgasm from actual sex, but see thats the only thing men really care about. The rare man not like this usually does better in dating too...

I dont. I think attractiveness is subjective. I dated alot in my 20s and Ive been rated anywhere from a 3 to a 9. Some men find dramatic curves the best with some body fat, some like smaller body fat with smaller curves, some like girls that I think are underweight. That will influence what "league" they think a girl is in. I also dont think men are good at judging the "league" another man is in. Its weird- Ive had so many men say to me "this girl is out of *someones league*" ( referring to the …

Most states are 50/50 custody by default now. The times Ive seen men not getting 50/50 with custody its because his wife/kids live too far and its not practical for scheduling reasons... or he didnt hire a lawyer when his wife did. Theres a small % of men who honestly get screwed over in these states. (And equal amount of small % of women who get screwed over too) Im awaiting my downvotes. Your issue is in your head.

As someone who had low self esteem during most of their 20s, men definitely do find it a turnoff and will use it against you. So your statement is not correct. Ive also dated men with self esteem issues where I didnt care, as long as it didnt very negatively impact our relationship.

I mean that depends on the woman. Some only do it for themselves, some do it really for a partner (see how many posts about "my SO is letting themselves go" "my SO isnt trying as hard for her looks now after 1 year" "my wife never wears makeup" posts you see in the relationship forums here...) and then some (like me) do it partially for both reasons.

You do know whoever initiates the divorce (filing the divorce papers via the court for this statistic) does not indicate who actually acted like they didnt want to be married right? Telling me to CHOOSE to be happy in these cases is crazy. Also, me having to NOT act like myself to make them happy...no amount of "choosing to be happy" can overcome that. I judge women who only want men who are 6 ft 2. I think theyre superficial and ridiculous. Most men are taller than the average woman, who cares? Im pretty sure most of my female friends would judge them too. The same way we'd judge a man who only wants a model or a woman too hot for him. Hypocrites are called out because it means theyre selfish. I dont think there is anything wrong with a man wanting a woman who is low count as long as he is low count too. If hes not he is a hypocrite.

Alot of men, particularly ones on this subreddit, are hypocrites. They also just like to pick and choose the traits they want in a woman that will benefit them the most. 100%- emotional intelligence. The average man is severely lacking in this. I also find it interesting emotional intelligence predicts who is more likely to do well in their career, perhaps because so few jobs nowadays don't require some interaction with people. I think men hold out for the opposite in women though, so what do I know: "Thin, pretty, interesting/great personality, financially stable enough to not be required to be the breadwinner, porn star sex abilities" Perhaps its human nature

I dont think women "fall" for them. They just arent realizing what theyre doing.

Most men arent LTR material. When a guy admits to me he pumps and dumps or any similar method, I instantly know he is not LTR material.

Most of them would, or they would try to turn you into a FWB.

I agree- assuming there is no relationship issue, mental health issue or body image issue causing a sudden lack of sex drive after children, it is almost always the woman taking on too much- work, housework, childcare, emotional stuff around kids. However, women are expected to take on more of a role with this, and will be critiqued when they dont or are unwilling, so you cannot win. I get criticized for expecting an equal partner in this way.

"The primary drivers are simply circumstance, opportunity, and mutual attraction. Beyond that, most people just are not engaging in some consciously meticulous filtering and elimination of prospects. The actual reality is people seize on opportunities as they present themselves, take risks, get hurt, and experiment again. " Maybe when you're young...for me when I got closer to my mid 20s I did start a vetting process. Some of the things I started to look for that caused me to filter out men, e…

Alot of people, men and women, have little empathy and are not worth being vulnerable to.

I dont buy the alpha/beta male/female thing. Very few women and men fall into these boxes...most men are a mixture of the 2 and it will also depend on the factors and context of the behavior.

LOL, i agree with you. Men are such idiots on this topic. I get a huge kick out of the contradiction men frequently portray when you get to know them on this subject. Most men nowadays expect sex early on, lest you dont have a "strong sex drive" or it means youre "not attracted to them" but a good chunk of these men also dont want a promiscuous girl or a high count girl. There are so many aspects to being a woman where you just cannot win and youll be picked apart no matter what you do and thi…

If you do online dating it is rampant. Alot of the guys that say they are looking for a relationship do this. They dont want to pump and dump women who will openly state they are fine with it because they dont find them as attractive. So they try to lure in the "good quality relationship seeking women" by pretending they arent into this. Also, most men who dont do this, its because they dont have the option to. Give men the option to do this, the majority will do it.

I find alot of men do care. Normal healthy men nowadays usually want a financially stable woman and not someone they will have to financially support for the rest of their lives. One of the ways feminism has benefitted men is that the role of being a provider has lessened and men are also not expected to pay for dates as much. The only men Ive met who arent like this are conservative Christians who want a stay at home wife the second they get married and thats a small % of the population. I wo…

" I know that men like to talk about female hypergamy, but the reality is that men are constantly trying to date up." Yep. For fun I read the RedPill and laugh at how delusional they are... because man have I dated below me (didnt realize it of course until several months in when they started acting like themselves) and not a single one of those guys treated me like a prize or even treated me well at all. They also weren't good in bed. Some of them even admitted at the end that I was too much …

I take it on a case by case basis, but the majority of the time it is a red flag. I see nothing wrong with being cordial and friendly to an ex if you happen to run into them and did not end on bad terms. Thats different than reaching out to them when you dont need to and trying to maintain a relationship when you can just let yourself drift apart. None of the men I have ever dated would actually be ok with me doing this. Ive dated many men throughout my life that kept in contact with exes, a f…

I agree. People take the friend zone way too personally. It happens in life where you like a person but just dont feel it romantically. I have done it to men and have had men do it to me even though they admit Im not ugly. You cannot really help who you like romantically either, I'm convinced its pheromones or your "genetic material" not lining up. And not everyone who wants to remain friends with someone who likes you like that but you dont reciprocate is "using you" Also, when I say "lets be…

I agree with this statement somewhat- the problem is I agree with it for men too and thats where I lose most people. Guys that have a promiscuous past always feel like they are settling or giving up their freedom and identity when they settle down, even when its with a girl who is too good for him looks and personality wise. He will get bored and resent her later. Men that dont have a high count dont tend to do this as easily. Also, the woman a lot of high count men choose to marry, they dont …

Certainly. I have several exes with contracts like that. Once you figure out thats whats going on with them, you break up with them. Examples of unreasonable contracts from my past relationships. Ive had 2 serious relationships, about 5 between 2-5 months long and another few about 3 months long: "Youll always be honest with me about your life and have no previous contact with exes/male friends interested in you/past crushes, but I can flirt with whoever I want, lie about my life (school, educat…

LTR by far, assuming the LTR is a good one. Men looking for casual sex see you as a masterbation tool and typically do not care if you orgasm (not as easy for women as it is for men, and yes I want to have sex for the orgasm just like men do, much to their dismay.) Men looking for casual sex also often do not respect you, care about your feelings or wellbeing as much which can cause them to be more selfish in bed again and not care at all, they treat you badly afterwards, so the experience will …

I don't think your standards are too high. In fact, are you sure they're not too LOW? Do you make your needs known early and directly in a relationship and immediately next men who do not meet them? Or do you frame them more as suggestions, and are willing to take breadcrumbs from men? How decisive are you with your needs & dealbreakers? A woman in her mid-20s simply cannot understand or empathize with the plight a woman in her late 30s has irregardless of their own, individual relative attracti…

I think in some cases they should. I find it hilarious when men judge a girl who is clearly hot and gets hit on alot for a high count. It is very hard to find a guy that doesnt expect sex quickly, just look at the threads on here, so of course she is going to have a high count. It reminds me of men I meet who expect sex quickly then judge a girl right after when she puts out.

People got married too young and did not find themselves the most compatible but good chemistry partner. You need both. I notice younger and more inexperienced people will marry the first person they feel strong chemistry with but arent compatible long term with or marry the first compatible person they meet who they dont have much passion for- you need both. I have so many friends who married young or barely dated before marrying that have made rude comments or judged me for my dating history…

They want a prince Charming that is a hot bad boy but also a good and responsible father. ----> not me. I am turned off by bad boys. I'd say I like cute men (I think my man is hot, but he'd prob be rated as "cute" by others) but probably dont vibe super well with "hot" men (due to their personality, but there are always exceptions).

What about people who are looking for a relationship as an end goal and ultimately marriage, but sleep often times with the person beforehand? I dont consider that to be a FWB, one night stand or necessarily even casual. If I know I am not going to want to see someone again, I dont sleep with them. And Im very turned off by men who do have this attitude. But I have done it many times where Im interested in someone, sleep with them and if all goes well, it'll lead somewhere....then it doesnt (eit…

If having standards or being expected to be treated in a certain way, that is not unreasonable, is a covert contract, then yes. But men do it to me.

Alot of guys believe they are doing enough because they 1) are more of a slob than their female partner. Some people are just messier and have lower standards. As long as this man isnt expecting the woman to do more work, there is nothing wrong with this. However, the man's mother may judge the female partner and others may too when she adjusts and the house is messy (my ex's family- their standards for cleanliness would have left me with NO life due to how lazy my ex was) or 2) really dont unde…
