I’m so happy to hear you’ve realized you’re worth so much more than what you’ve been getting. Sending love your way!

This makes me sad. I’ve had plenty of male friends over the years who have never made a move. Sometimes men just want companionship, same as the rest of us.

WOW. No one got it huh? “I think it’s a slut shaming morality tale.” “I think we’re meant to not judge people by what they look like.” Whooooooole lotta willful ignorance over there lmao

My mom was sick for years (not cancer, heart issues) and my dad took care of her to the very end. Right after she died, he said he wished he could have done more. (He couldn’t have. He was perfect.) I refuse to settle for anything less. So I’m very single lol. Long ramble short: don’t settle for someone who won’t stay through the messy parts of life.

I was a baby 22 year old who had never been on a date and this 39 year old showed interest so I was like “Yes! Finally I can get some practice and get more comfortable.” Well that didn’t happen and he didn’t push (his only redeeming quality) so one night I was like “I’m into you” to try to get him to make a move and he gave me this big monologue about how I was looking for something serious and we just wouldn’t work out. By the time I realized what was happening, it was too late to tell him that…

Yeah, there’s a reason it’s not The Spock Show. He’s not even the captain (and when he does decide to captain his own ship, he ends up under Kirk again because it’s where he fits best). Spock is great, but he’s even better when the people around him remind him of emotions. Fanboys 🙄

The number of times a woman gets called a “cunt” on those subs is honestly shocking. And I’m a seasoned internet veteran. Not much can shock me.

I used to think all this about myself. Growing up/living in the Midwest really does a number on a woman. Anyway, recovering. And seeing you spell it out with hilarious contempt is helping. Thanks!

When I was in my early 20’s, I had a guy string me along for a few months. Sorted it all out, he moved, it was fine. Then he sent me a message on FB. I responded. He didn’t. A few months passed. He sent another message. I responded. He didn’t. Never again. Should have blocked him at the first “I don’t think we’d work as a couple.”

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
