dude, in 1945 millions of Wehrmacht personnel managed to snap themselves out of their steadfast and heartfelt devotion to Hitler. Would you charge a T-34 for any of these Tinder thots? No? Then you’re not as deep in and you can sort yourself out too

i think it’s pretty much a charisma and personality thing at the end of the day. some people just have an easier time getting other people to like them. “making friends” and “getting laid” are skillsets that are practically identical

that’s your problem man. plenty of shit has been intuitively obvious in various times and places; the spirits of the ancestors watching over us, the African race being naturally destined for slavery, the continents don’t drift around over time. All intuitively correct, and all wrong. You stick with your intuition, you’re gonna fucked into posting angry threads about paternity fraud on Reddit

There are many ways to understand a possessive pronoun Indeed, and all of them are wrong except in the sense that they relate to property. Phrases like “My grandma” or “my son” get thrown around a lot as if they’re equivalent to “my baseball” or “my pony”, but you’re not even attempting to interrogate whether these socially accepted meanings and equivalencies have a firm and self consistent logical basis in the first place? Why not? This entire sub exists to get to the bottom of what’s wrong wit…

“his”, or indeed “hers”, is a possessive pronoun. for the phrase “someone’s child” to even make any sort of logical sense, we have to assume that children are property. Like with “his dog”, “her chair” or even “his arm” etc. Doesn’t work otherwise. Do you want to clear up your language a bit?

paternity fraud literally stops being a problem as soon as the so-called “victim” makes an effort to stop caring about it. it’s no more morally wrong than someone flipping you off or telling you someone wrote “gullible” on the ceiling. grow up

paleoanthropology is an awesome subject and it’s so much more interesting than any of this pill crap, here are some great reads for you guys: “Sapiens” by Yuval Harari - as well as being a synoptic history of immense scope, there are some really provocative ideas about the fundamental cognitive and cooperative uniqueness of our species “Becoming Human” by Ian Tattersall - presents a stunning picture of what we currently understand and what we don’t about how humankind’s capacity for love, langua…

Prostitution has never been prohibited in the US. Punishing the victim (the hooker) and letting the culprit (the john) go free is the opposite of punishment, it encourages it

Prohibition reduced domestic violence and alcohol-related mortality rates substantially, far compensating for the flashy but overblown uptick in organized crime. America wasn’t the only country that experimented with it, and there a reason so many states and counties remained dry even after repeal. (Now marijuana prohibition’s a different deal, it was designed for purposes of racial oppression rather than empirical public health analysis.) But hey ho. Anyway, men aren’t going to be able to liber…

cos I already mentioned it up there. It’s a form of media, and most governments ban it cos it’s gross and evil. They, rightly, devote substantial police resources to finding and arresting people who make and possess it. Enforcement is not 100% perfect, the stuff floats around, but you can’t find it in the store or by googling it and if you go looking for it you’re risking federal prison, where you deserve to go. Well, the Chinese and Indian governments have the same attitude towards regular two-…

the most straightforward thing a man could have to offer is an orgasm superior to one from a vibrator. But a good 50%-70% aren’t going to be able to give you one of those if you jump into bed with him, so what’s the point

I’m down with banning porn, the two most populous countries in the world do it. It isn’t perfect, there’s plenty of black market junk doing the rounds, but it’s no more difficult in theory than banning child porn and we sort of manage to keep a lid on that. On the other hand, everyone’s gonna admit that Indian men who have barely seen a titty in their life are famously creepier and less attractive to women than even the average pornsick Western coomer. So what are you gonna do?

this is why people like Ted Bundy and the Klebolds have armies of femcel simps, while Dzhokar Tsarnaev barely has a smidgeon of the same and even his own wife didn’t want to have sex with Lee Harvey Oswald. Women can instinctively smell the difference between a self-actualized Nietsczhean uberpsycho, and a weenie little patsy framed by the FBI

I don’t know why you expect to be able to control other people’s thoughts and get mad at them for having the wrong thoughts and having thoughtcrimes. Get out of here and find a Marxist-Leninist cell if you want a woman who wants to date Comrade Stalin

I think you were probably interesting back when you were younger too, you just didn’t have confidence in yourself. It’s good that you’ve learned to have well-thought out conversations on lots of topics, but your magnetism would remain even if all you ever did was talk about reality shows and sports and stuff. Human interaction is about tone, energy and vibes, not a mere exchange of information - we’d all be reading Wikipedia instead of hanging out with anyone if that were true

there’s a difference between a slutty woman and a masochist. and yeah, masochistic women exist too but there’s hardly enough of them to go around. a hot married man might get hit on, but most dudes are schlubs

being interesting isn’t really something you can choose. a naturally boring person can go out to clubs or go backpacking or whatever and end up with zero stories to tell, simply because people don’t gravitate towards them. but if you have magnetism you’ll still have it working a 9 to 5 in a cubicle, or in a refugee camp or in a seminar on lawn darts or anywhere. human connection is what makes a person exciting, not doing a given activity

physical fitness is probably the #1 predictor of being good at sex. you can do more for longer. i suppose someone will steam in with a tale of hooking up with a gym bro who had a tiny dick and came in 3 seconds, but that’s just the man-bites-dog phenomenon

this is a bit of an overstatement lol. you have to at least lift if you want women to actually be attracted to you. but yeah, if men spent as much time working on themselves as women do there’d be a lot of ryan goslings walking around. a man who doesn’t know how to lift and pick out shirts that fit properly is in the same position as a woman who doesn’t know how to put makeup on or walk in heels, and if a woman reaches adulthood without knowing how to do that stuff we all feel sorry for her

i have a hard time buying the idea that social skills are really “learned”. people don’t react to how you behave (unless you do something really terrible like shitting your pants in public), they interpret your behaviour according to where you are in the tribal hierarchy, through genetics or luck or whatever

who gives a shit about famous people, they aren’t representative of anything. if you even spend 1% of your time looking at them and trying to apply anything about them to your own life, that pretty much explains what a miserable loser you are

well, im sure there must have been at least one bloke in your friend groups or who tagged along on your pub crawls etc who did absolutely terribly with women, couldn’t get a shag to save his life. Wasn’t there? And I mean surely you could understand that fella being upset about being the omega male
