It does not come off as weird. If you tell someone something, and say "can you please not tell anyone this?" They're a bad person if they don't comply with that. (Obviously it's different if you murdered someone, or something of that scope.)

My favorite argument is "well we need to fix women's rights first before we can focus on men's rights" No. We can give both of them the attention they both desperately need. Fuck off with that pseudo-misandrist bullshit. It's so thinly veiled sometimes, and society just rolls with it. Yes the patriarchy fucked up a lot of things, but we can still make correction action on both fronts concurrently.

Still seems a bit ridiculous. I don't care how left you are, sexism is sexism. I know there's this conflicting area of "patriarchy actually being a problem" and "men should die" within the left spectrum, but if you were TRUELY socially liberal, you would recognize the sexism that men face nowadays.
