I had a read through the article and everything they say here the university are doing is based on "he/she said", the matter of fact is that vast majority of gendered scholarships (except for maybe spesific sports one in America, and even, not sure) are still for women. So if they indeed are scraping so badly for men like this article pretend too, they're doing a pretty dam bad job at it by not using the most obvious tool used now for decades to open up doors to the female gender.

Trans guy here as well! As much a si don't have much experience with subs that much (only joined a couple of FtM ones a a month or so ago) I defo encountered misandry in queer spaces. I actually made a post a couple of days ago about that in one of the FtM subs and loads of passing binary FtMs were relating (you can see my post on my account). I think we can see it both ways. If say for exemple a single man gets already some love emotional comfort from a pet, then he will be less "desperate" for a women to fill up some emotional need, and therefore will be a lot more selective when choosing for a potential partner, which actually I think is a good thing, because it raises the bar for a woman's personality.

I notice that at work as well. I'm in a managerial position in the construction industry, I'm in a team which Is mixed age wise and 90% male. Us younger guys get from the elders guys joking "trash" to a level that the young woman in our team has ever gotten even barely close to . Victim of this phenomenon here! And I'm trans-male, so one would have though I could have potentially escaped it, but not. To be fair it doesn't help I'm shy and not a good talker to begin with due to some early years of bullying.
