Maybe, but my experience is that guys you don't know will throw you under the bus, the steamroller, and the streetsweeper.

I'm sure he's already told her everything. But every girl I know swears up and down "that pick-up shit doesn't work on me!" And it almost always works. Odds are that she'll think you were cool, and that her guy friend is a jealous asshole (let's face it, he's an orbiter, so yeah).

My feeling about canned material is that it's like training wheels for guys with underdeveloped social skills. If you can't just start up a conversation on your own, then having some rehearsed lines will go a long way toward getting you into actual interactions until you're competent enough to start and maintain an interaction. Eventually, you'll come up with your own openers or be able to fluently pull off situational openers. You'll have your own stories to use, your own favorite things to tal…

I just broke a three year slump. The majority of what led to it happened in the past two months. Basically, I rocked the online dating thing pretty hard, which gave me some good practice with different women as well as increased confidence. That carries over into meeting women on approaches. Make the approaches, man.

You know it's coming. You can either break up with her right now, or wait for it to happen. When it does, don't let it affect you. Tell her, "That's fine, we can break up. You've had your second chance with me and blew it. There will be no third chance." Get up and leave. If she tries to talk to you, ignore her and leave. Ignore her texts and calls if she makes them. If you do decide to wait until the inevitable, then spend time now working on your game and meeting women. A break up will feel le…

I'm too lazy to read the other responses here, but here's what works for me: Reference something in her profile. Most guys just send messages like, "What's up?" or "Ur hawt. Let's meet." By referencing her profile, you show that you are actually messaging her because you liked her, not just her looks. Remember that if your initial message is read, she's going to check out your profile. Make sure it's tight. There's a lot of good advice over at /r/OKCupid to help you tighten it up and avoid clich…

I'm pretty sick of hearing guys say that "women dig assholes." It's not true, and the only people who really believe it are the guys who behave in an antithetical way to basic Seduction 101 protocol. Women want to be with a fun guy who makes them feel good. It's that simple. Most of these "assholes" are just regular dudes who understand that. They get the women, and usually they can keep them. The ones who are truly assholes, your "dark triad" or whatever (seriously, "Dark Triad?" Sounds like it…

OK, let's see... I should develop an attractive identity, don't put women on a pedestal, be open with my desire, and be fearless in my approaches. This is basic Seduction 101 stuff. Why the fuck do we need to dress it up in some "Dark Triad" label? Why do we need to equate it with mentally ill people?

I'm going to add in that maintaining your Game skillset while in a relationship is helpful because a lot of guys won't drop a troublesome woman for fear that they can't get anyone else. If you have women open to you, when some woman you're with gets shitty, you can move on. Not that you should need good skills or backup women to do so. But it helps.

THIS. I made this mistake too. It's the game equivalent of going on a crash diet, getting slim, and then eating whole pizzas every day until you're fat again.

Wow. She sounds like a real charmer.

Eye contact is important, but it's not horrible to glance at her tits, especially if she's wearing something low-cut. The key word is glance. Take a quick look. She wants them to be noticed. Just don't start staring.

No self-hypnosis or NLP crap has ever helped me. The real secret is just facing that fear of doing approaches and do them anyway. It'll take some time and repetition, but by doing a bunch of approaches, you'll get there.

You should have teased her about taking advice from the host of Family Feud. Seriously, the line about the mustache and two failed marriages would've been great. Tag it with something like, "Do you also take exercise tips from Paula Deen?"

I'd say to get them back by bombing their sets, but if they're doing this shit, they aren't running any sets.

I see people alone in bars all the time. Tonight, in fact. A bar is a social place, but no one says you have to bring your social group with you. If people wanted to be left alone while drinking, they'd stay home. If being alone lowers your value, being a friendly, fun, outgoing guy will definitely raise it.

You're overthinking. If someone asks, just say, "These are my new friends." OWN IT.

Gonna throw out a crazy idea here: Maybe you're too good-looking and well-dressed. I don't know what you look like, but if you're a good-looking guy and as well dressed as you say, you might be coming off as too much the man, and get labeled a player as a result. You may be coming in at too high a social value. Just for one night, try dressing down a bit. T-shirt, jeans, maybe a hoodie. See how it works.

Where this went horribly wrong was when he followed her to Starbucks. It doesn't matter whether or not his actually wanting to get a green tea was true, because to her, he only said he was also going there after she stated that was her next stop. It looks like he was trying to find an excuse to follow her. If I was in her shoes and someone did what the OP did, my first thoughts would be, "This person is gonna mug me." Next time this situation happens, just go for a quick, direct approach.

Sure, I can keep you guys updated. I'm probably quite a few months away from being able to anything though. Right now, I'm the main caregiver for my grandmother who's on hospice. Makes it pretty difficult to have a normal life, but whenever this chapter ends, that's gotta be how the next chapter starts.

I think that the OP is going to find that most people won't say anything. If he shows confidence, is engaging, and is fun to be around, no one will say anything because they won't care. Anyone who tries to AMOG him about it will just come off as a dick and all he has to reply with is, "It seems someone didn't get enough love from his mother." Bam! Verbal shot to the nutsack!

First off, I'm just going to point out two obvious names you should keep in mind: * Seal Photo here Was banging Heidi Klum. * JR Martinez Photo here Dude stars on a soap opera and is married. I've got a buddy who would look at those two guys and say, "Yeah, but they're rich and famous!" To which I say that first, Heidi Klum ain't exactly looking to marry into wealth and fame when she already has it, and two, it's not like I personally know guys with deformities who aren't famous to pull examples…

Dude, you we're in. Not only was there that initial flirt when she asked if she could try your beer, but both women made themselves available to restart conversation, which thankfully, you did. Older women will sometimes be more aggressive, and in this case, it sounds like she was coming on a bit strong. I think you just got to a point where you could've escalated the situation, but didn't because your confidence is still shaky. Believe me, I'm in the same boat. I don't know what your slight fac…
