So there's a big argument to this I keep seeing that "A person with multiple credible sexual assault allegations became president and a other got off scott free" Those are rich bastards, don't compare them to normal everyday folk. A rich man who would sell you and your family for $100 a soul and get away with it would in a heart beat, a rich sack a shit would argue people don't deserve food, water, or shelter to include clothing, that such a thing isn't a human right. These disgustingly rich fuc…

I thought I drunkenly made this post, sounds alot like my homelife rn. Stay at home mom but I have to still pay $400+ after finacial aid for child care because I can't trust my kid at home with my spouse to be properly cared for without 1000 calls a day asking how to parent/adult.

I don't know what I need, I don't know what I want, I just need help but I don't know what helps. "What are things in your life you can change?" I'm sitting on a house of cards, if I change one thing, like how much time I focus on cleaning, or how much time I spend with my kid, one or the other falls through either way I'm seen as a terrible person for not being able to do both right now. "Uh huh... well have you tried meditating or doing insert stress relife/mindfulness tech here?" I don't have…

It sucks when people will pressure you, saying "It'll only take a minute", "they don't have to be here", "don't you trust me", "I thought you were cool" Bruh, I'm protecting the both of us, I'm not going to tell you that you're bad at your job and your laziness is causing everyone else extra work in private alone, when you already have 2 sexual assault alligations against 2 of our coworker who you didn't like before hand. I'm not defending them, or reprimanded you for it, but I can't trust you w…

I'm in the US Air Force, and I tell all my subordinates and such that, if they ever have to do a 1 on 1 consultation/reprimand/correction/feedback with someone they are not comfortable with, of the opposite gender, or don't trust, you are legally aloud to request an unbiased 3rd party to sit in and refuse the consultation, ect. If one is not agreed upon. Of all else fails, you have chaplains and upper leadership who can and most of the time will sit in. Cover your ass, cause one wrong accusation…

It was a lot more accommodating, every other negative thing said had a positive statement to try and say that they aren't all bad, there's a reason I married them, and still was. I was also more stating about their health rather than sex appeal or "trophy status". I was worried that they would get to the point that they can't even pick up our kid or walk down more than 1 flight of stairs. I grew up with a mother like that and it's a bad impression to leave on our kid. The whole attractive part w…

I posted about how I do everything to the point of being a single parent to TWO children, one being my wife. They arnt sexually active but I knew that before marriage, Doesn't work or have an income, is the incarnation of undependable and incompetent, and that I couldn't stand that they were getting uglier and uglier cause they stopped taking care of themselves. And I'M THE ASSSHOLE WHO DOESNT DESERVE HER BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY I THINK IM A SAINT AND PROBABLY BEAT MY WIFE AND SHOULD DIE IN A HOLE. A …

"Rather, it was full of overgrown children that went from mommy's house to being in charge of others." Ain't that the truth, my dad, who was former military by the time I was born, raised me and my four brothers in a manner to sort of have a normal fun childish mode, and a professional respectful mode. So if we are talking to adults(usually when we were in trouble, at a funeral or serious event, or for work) we were expected to switch over to a calm courteous manner of sorts. Theres a lot more t…

Thank you for the respectful reply and request to stray away from hyperboles and emotional fallacies, I'll refrain from that. Something to keep in note when it comes to jewelry, it's restricted to be extremely modest and specific as to what is aloud. In case of earrings, it must be a small silver ball-stud OR a conservatively cut clear diamond of similar dimensions. Only affixed to 1 on each lobe. With makeup and nails, it must "complement the member's skin tone" so nails would be skin colored s…

It's a societal thing, but attempts to address it are shot down more often than not because of the connotation that it can bring, and in the military "Perception is everything". It's not what you do, it's not why, it's what did it LOOK like. If it looks like you're attempting to be sexist towards women, then you might as well have been, or so it feels like. And our attempts to have honest conversations around the annual climate surveys are invalidated because of THAT 1 or 2 crusty NCO who is act…

I understand where you are coming from, and I personally couldn't care less if people are aloud to paint their nails, make-up their face, wear earrings in uniform. But what I do know, with me working in a maintenance career field, nails will break, and jewelry can not be worn in industrial areas. So if it keeps you from doing your job, you take it off or you take it out. In the USAF one of our core values is Service Before Self, and that still holds true, and you must meet up with the same stand…

Absolutely

Absolutely, but you have to go through the long process of being diagnosed with gender disphoria, and having an MFR routed to your commander to authorize you to follow by female standards in uniform and appearance instead of male standards. So absolutely.

Kermit the Frog: "It's not easy being green, you look like so many different things. Like Marijuana, or crack cocaine..." "Kermit, crack isnt green." "I'm too fucking high for this shit"

I've seen sexism go both ways in my time in the airforce, I heard my former supervisor tell his new subordinate when they first arrive at work, "You have to either be a slut or bitch to make it here, so you better decide which to pick", but I've also seen female airmen win award packages when contesting against better preforming male coworkers. My Airman litterally pulled 2 people out of a burning car, deployed on 2 day notice for 60 days on a HHQ req swap out, and get his associates degree and …

The process to transition in the military when it comes to the clerical/paperwork side of things is like pulling teeth, you have to get express permission from your commanding officer to permit the allowed adherence to the other gender's standards. Edit: Whats with the down votes, is dental mad I'm comparing transitioning to their job?

My problem with this is that people have been asking for permitting beards since my father joined, the old justification was about not being able to get an adequate seal on the gas mask, but the M50 gas mask is able to maintain an appropriate seal so long as you don't look like an Amish Dumbledore. We aren't running around in MOP-0 all the time, so if that were the problem then mandate clean shave during deployments and exercises. Additionally, if having a beard is already permitted for medical …

Pain in the ass process to go through, after getting a required diagnosis of gender disphoria, and drafting an MFR(memorandum) to through your chain of command, your Commander has to personally authorize you to be able to abide by female grooming standards.

I get what you're saying, and I'd hate for victims to be too afraid of coming out for fear of being thought as a fake rape caller.... But when people have the slightest hint of being a rapist spread about them, they lose their friends, ousted by family, fired, and cam be imprisoned. Where as a false claim might as well be a misdemeanor. Additionally, claims as these happen enough to at least mention, male defendents would have had No idea that it was anything other than consensual, and to later …
