Women should vet their potential partners about bodily autonomy before sleeping with them. No man is high value if he is anti-abortion/forced birth. If i could get pregnant (thank the Goddess of Fibroids for infertility!) I wouldn't tell any partner that I was pregnant. I'd get an abortion on my own, without his knowledge, because in the end, any man could turn on you. In this political climate, it's not worth it. Take care of yourself first. And no, it wouldn't be an agonizing decision for me. …

Companies are moving to TX because the state offers tax incentives in the hundreds of millions for many years to relocate there. It's why TX is a shit state for its citizens but a bonanza for corporations. Corporations don't care about their workers. They'll go where the money is. Lots of TX women can't move. Sure, a single, educated woman in TX can get out because she can get a job somewhere in the blue states. But married women, poor women, women with multiple kids and no father paying child s…

It's not only being abstinant. These religious fundys have said that they're coming after birth control after they get Roe overturned. They plan on going after Griswold, the case that allowed married couples the right to birth control. These religious fascists won't be contect until women are forced to stay at home, pregnant and financially dependant on any man.

Womens rights are my hill to die upon. Absolutely nobody has any right to tell a woman whether or not to keep a pregnancy. She's the one pregnant. She is the one who will suffer all the negative effects to her body. It is her who will do the bulk of the childcare for many years to come. He can ask her to keep the fetus, but in the end all choices rest squarely with her. It's her body and her choice. A man's only contribution is to hump, bump and squirt. A dying person cannot even demand that som…

I just got a PM from the reddit care bot. Somebody got their feelings hurt! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Did some incel or MGTOW type think they could upset me with a care bot? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 They really are triggered by an emotionally strong, independant woman, aren't they.

We've been married almost 17 years now. I make time for myself by having my own interests and pursuits outside of him and the relationship. I've also taken solo vacations to Europe. I set boundaries and stick to them. I tell him when I need time for myself. It also helps that he has his own interests apart from me and pursues them.

This right here ^^^^^ Enjoy being single. Go to the gym (if that's your thing). Spend weekends doing and experiencing what makes you happy. Treat yourself to things and experiences you missed out on because of him. Stay single and enjoy living without somebody making you feel inferior. Don't contact him again. If he gets around your blocks by making new accounts to communicate with you, block those, too. At this point, he's out of your life and needs to stay away from you. If he decides to come …

That sounds like me! I used to carry Longchamp bags (purchased on the Paris sales), and wear shorter skirts with Wolford tights and bodysuits. Nanette Lepore was my go-to for girly cashmeres. Oscar made beautiful silk blazers. By the way, I always shopped outlets and the last call sales, so it was affordable, even on a budget. I got such nasty looks from the older teachers who couldn't wear or afford those styles. I gave up on them because I recognized them for what they were: petty, jealous and…

Microwave meals aren't usually healthy. They're filled with sauce, salt and preservatives. She should have meal prepped on Sunday with roasted vegetables that she could have brought to work with her during the week. It's much cheaper and better than frozen boxes of pre-cooked product. As for your questions, I've found that the majority of teachers are very fat or obese. Even if you're eating healthy, prolonged periods of stress can change your body and cause a person to gain large amounts of bel…

The last time I ate cold spaghetti from a can was 40 years old, in college. I didn't even have to do that, as I had a hot pot back in the day, and could heat it up in there. This is just pathetic. Sounds like she's begging for pity points.

Fellow teacher here. I'm aproaching retirement in a couple of years, and I eat lunch in my classroom every day. I have learned to tell the admins NO. Rinse and repeat the word NO, especially to unpaid extra-curriculars. Are the teachers in your building obese or just fat? Because in my building, many are very fat.

...I, on the other hand, am single. My Valentine’s Day was great. I celebrated on the weekend, took myself shopping, and had dinner in the city. If I were to tell them that, I’d be rubbing it in their faces and it’s not nice, so I remained silent. Could I politely give you word of advice? Don't tell co-workers about your personal life. Don't tell them about your vacation plans, the gifts a boyfriend/husband gives you (if applicable), your fabulous weekends, your shopping trips, etc... It's not t…

Never heard of fake proposals until now. But back in my day girls would get...wait for it..."pre-engaged," with a small, modest ring as proof. I thought it was such bullshit back then, because it basically meant that the guy could lock her down, get bangmaid privileges from her, she would cook and clean for him (yuck!), yet he could still easily break up without judgement, because they weren't formally engaged, only pre-engaged. Girls with boyfriends were so hoping for that magical pre-engagemen…

...we have been spiritually married for 2 years... Translation: He doesn't want to commit. Insisting on a 50-50 split of bills means he refuses to share. This guy doesn't want a lifetime relationship with one woman. This is what happens when you refuse to commit to a woman yet insist on 50-50 split of bills like a roommate. Why should she risk her health and income having a baby for him when he could leave tomorrow without repercussions because they're not married? She's doing the right thing by…

I live in his region. Yes, we all take the subway in NYC. But covid has changed how people look at the subway. This almost happened to me several years ago. A married, with 2 children, ex-boyfriend from a long time ago (20+ years past) messaged me. He wanted to go for lunch in the city. I remember when this happened. I also remember when abortion became legal. Everything my parents owned was in my father's name. E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. It was only in the 1980's that her name was put onto the accounts and deed to the house. When my mother was born in 1916, women didn't have the right to vote or even hold a paying job without written consent of a husband or father. She also had no right to birth control or abortion, both were outlawed in the USA. The reason marriages don't last like…

They had nice chins because they were in shape. People in the 40s and 50s weren't extremely fat like people are today. High body fat content means your face and chin is fatty which gives you the Pillsbury Doughboy effect. The guy in this picture here, he has a double chin going on, and even his shoulders look pudgy. Don't get into his car. Meet him in a public place and drive yourself (or take public transit if in the city). Bring enough cash (credit/debit card today) to pay your portion of the bill if you need to get away from him for any reason, and that includes cab fare in an emergency.

Can I piggyback on this? Back when I wasn't married and hadn't met my spouse yet, I was dating this guy (he always paid). I happen to be in a restaurant by myself, and at the table next to me, a lady was paying the restaurant bill. I usually mind my own business in NYC, but when she was paying the bill and her guy was just sitting back and stretching out, I looked right at them and asked her why she was paying the entire bill. It might be rather long to put into a reddit post. 🙂 The Peach Brothers have an excellent peach ice cream recipe. Cut the recipe in half, and swap out the half and half for basic heavy cream and 2% milk. We also add a little cinnamon and chopped walnuts to the peaches. You can also add a little honey for flavor, but then cut back on the sugar. You can look online for recipes and modify them for your use. Be sure you have a decent ice cream maker. I second this. When I was in my 20's, several men went to my supervisor and complained about me being "rude" to them, because I refused to flirt or do anything inappropriate with them at all. They were all married too, with wives and kids at home. I had to defend myself against these charges which was unpleasant, made more so by a supervisor who didn't believe me. I'll take it further: Never even live with a man you're not married to. Don't give him the benefits of a wife and mother if he's not willing to legally commit to you. A man who truly loves you will want to eventually marry you if you're compatible on major life decisions. By American standards, I've always had smaller breasts (34B). Less weight on them means less sagging. Because I'm childfree, I never had kids, so no breastfeeding. Because of menopause, my chest and band expanded to 36B (36ish depending on the brand), so I've done years of upper body exercises to maintain my chest and arms. Different types of push-ups, free weights and planking at an angle off a wall will help your arms and chest muscles stay toned.

She may not have a lot of gray hair. I'm looking at other pics of her online at this age, and her roots are dark. She had her hair lightened for this event, but I'm thinking she still has her naturally dark hair. And yes, it's possible. I'm up there in age, with a very full head of my natural brown hair.

I don't see any work done on her face. She might have had a small neck lift, but that's it. What I do see is a layer of foundation that helps to conceal small lines in her cheeks and forehead. If you google Sigourney Weaver at age 71, you'll see other shots of her at this event in this green dress with different light, and you can clearly see her forehead lines and other facial lines that don't appear in the photos in this post. She hasn't had cosmetic surgery on her face. I think she won the ge…

This isn't the 1950's anymore and the stereotype of women cooking and cleaning in a pencil skirt, sweater and high heels was always that: a myth. If this guy wants to entertain co-workers and bosses at home, then he damn well needs to share the prep cooking and cleaning that goes into something like this. I've done it for husband's dinner party events, and it is A LOT of prep work. But my spouse does all the housecleaning while I do the prep cooking. I grew up in a family with a traditional marr…

He can try, but depending on where they live, he can't collect a dime of alimony unless they've been married x number of years. In my state, you need to be married at least 20 years for a spouse to collect full alimony, and that's only if the spouse is older and/or cannot work. She needs to dump this guy. Working 115 hours then expected to play cook and maid??

I'm from a generation and a region where mothers stayed home and the fathers provided. However, my mother did all the housework, childcare AND all the outside work. That included gardening, snow shoveling, raking leaves even laying underground gutter pipes. Then she had to come in and cook dinner for everybody. My father got first dibs on the food, then my siblings, then my mother, then me (I was last). I rebelled against all of that.

No, it's not fair at all, but it is what it is. Our best solution is to live how we want to and turn off society's expectations of how we should act, dress, talk, walk, and whatever else I am missing. As women, we have choices today. We can choose our educational goals, our course of study, where we work, where we live, and how we live. I'm done, I'm not having dinner tonight, I feel too sick. No joke, I'm controlling the urge to throw up after reading about ejaculating in food. Good thing hubby is working very late tonight, so he won't wonder why I'm not interested in food this evening.

I see that the pinkpillfeminism sub is satire, but their 14 rules of misogyny is making me really stabby, even if it is put there in jest. Read the comments in the sub under the post, where they quote the website. I am starting to feel really sick to my stomach, as in queasy, about to vomit :( I went to the website and looked around. Do those girls know that their pictures are being posted on a porn site for perverts? A bunch of those girls look underage. And the forum comments! There are 15 yea…

If he doesn't like having girly stuff accidentally left at his apartment, then maybe he doesn't need to have the girl who owns that stuff, either. This makes me think he has other women on the side, and doesn't want them to know about her. I'm showing my age, but I wouldn't trust any man who sent me a text like this. I'd leave him, and tell him why in no uncertain terms.

I learned the hard way to take care of myself first. I spent 8 years in an on-again, off-again "relationship," starting in my senior year of high school. I was a virgin when I met him. He ended up being this big wig Wall St. guy, and I was dumb, lonely, and desperate enough to put up with his shitty behavior. I wised up after that, and spent 10 years single and sexless, focusing on me, my goals, my aspirations, my happiness. I still can't believe what I put up with. I was very pretty (still am!)…

My low value ex constantly thought I was entitled. He hated how I talked highly of my dad. When men know they fall short of the standard, they either talk disrespectfully of the man they are comparing themselves with or they attack your standards for “being too high”. Preach it! This describes men I ignored, and a guy I was dumb enough to give 5 months of my life to. If they complain that our standards are too high, then imagine how low their standards are.

This guy is jealous that she's in med school. It proves she's damned smart and a very hard worker. Med school is damned difficult, then you have residencies to complete where you get paid basically minimum wage, if you average the extreme hours you're required to keep. If her parents are choosing to help pay the costs, it's one less stress she has to deal with. This jealous scrote's panties are in such a twist that she's not financially struggling and miserable. He's dead wrong; she knows very w…

Look at the OP's posting history. He's a POS misogynist white male who thinks women should be forced to bear children because white birthrates are down. Looks like he's from Alabama, too. It figures, doesn't it. I bet he has Confederate and Trump 2020 flags, too.

I hate men like this. I grew up at a time when it was (white) boys will be (white) boys. Most of them would become enraged and get physically violent when you rejected their advances because how dare you reject THEM. They are special; their filthy mouth, low class behavior and lurid sex drives should be attractive to the woman they set their eyes upon. I see some things never change. Look at his photo. Does this POS really think that posting a photo of himself sucking beer from a bottle is sexy?…

I hate logo bags. They are tacky and crass. How insecure do you have to be to advertise to everybody around you that you spent hundreds on a small handbag? I never could understand spending that amount on a Luis Vuitton, when so many of them are just coated canvas. They're not sewn by hand with high quality French leather, lined in suede, meant to last 20 years. They're these industrial, mass produced aspirational items for people who need to pretend they're rich. Hard pass.

There's a whole lot more to life than having Louis Vuitton bags and driving a Porsche. These young women should go to school, go to college or trade school and get a career in a field that won't cause them shame or embarrassment in the future. They can work, save up and purchase those things in the future and it will mean more because they had to plan for it and set goals. What happens when they're older and the sex work stops? They'll need something to support themselves. I don't know of many c…

Call me old fashioned, but I don't use a camera phone for much of anything. I purposely don't have a smart phone because of how you can be tracked. I have a small Samsung for calls and texts. I don't login to any apps and I keep it powered off lots of times. I have a small, older digital camera (10+ years old) that fits into an evening bag or coat pocket (stainless steel Canon Power Shot with a real zoom lens). I use that for random photos and upload as needed. Good luck finding me with the meta…

Besame cosmetics are beautiful. Their lipsticks and cake mascara are to die for. If ladies can't find things in their correct skin tone, go to Alcone's website. They carry any and all makeup for all people, including a lot of stage makeup brands for professionals. With this coronavirus going on, I miss going to their store in the city and browsing their store :(

No. It's one thing to discretely notice an attractive person passing by and give barely a cursory glance at them before going back to you. It's a whole different world if they're checking you out top to bottom while while they're out on a date themselves. That's rude to their date, because he should be focusing on her and not the pretty woman walking by. I've had men check me out head to toe when husband and I go out sometimes, right in front of their lady. Some, (but not all) of those women are…

I didn't even know that FDS existed, was a strategy! I've always said it's better to live alone than live with a bad man. I can make myself happy with my interests, talents, hobbies. I was so damn picky when it came to men and I had zero fucks to give for people who tried to man shame/single shame me for holding true to my standards all my life. So I joined here :)

These dudes think that having a child raises their value to a woman, because all women want children and this shows his nurturing, family friendly side, dontcha know? Pfffff....... Unless these guys are Wall St. types with good lawyers on retainer, which they're NOT, they're paying child support, health insurance, education/private lessons, and other costs for their children. Which is fine, because that's what they should be doing. But that means they're usually broke as fuck. If you get involve…

Please, keep on being a dad. And leave me the hell alone. Single fathers are not sexy. Having a dad bod is not sexy. Having your kid on weekends and attention whoring your child out to women you see nearby is not sexy. Baby mama drama is not sexy. Having no extra money for anything is not sexy. Men like that need to search for single mothers to date. What ever makes them think a lady without children, who knows her worth, would go for this nonsense?

Because they're assholes. They're just looking to fuck as many women as they can, looking for a "piece of ass." If they put it out there that you're his girlfriend, then he loses all the other women he's fucking and stringing along.

I did that for 7 years in my youth, from high school through university and a few years beyond, until he finally dumped me for the last time to get married. After some time I found my inner badass, and have never looked back. Men have always had a misogynist streak in them, especially in my younger days. Gads, the stories I could tell...and back then there was no such thing as metoo, or date rape. It was boys will be boys. But I digress... I kept to my standards. I refused to have anything to do with a man I wasn't interested in. Most American men tend to be shit. They seem to have an entitlement complex when it comes to women. Well, this lady doesn't put up with that. I lived in the EU every summer, and met an absol…

No, I didn't think of that at the time. My main concern was getting her home. She did mention about going to the hospital the next day for tests, but by that time whatever he put in her drink would have been out of her system. There was a long history with this barman, and mutual associates that I'm leaving out so it cannot be traced back to me.

I was with my friend when the barman slipped something in our drinks, because he was either trying to get information from us, or get us sick enough, then call a certain person that we didn't want around us (long story). I chose to not drink anything he made and I was fine. My friend drank it and got a horrible reaction that lasted hours. I got her out ASAP and got her home. I know the barman by name, he still works in that establishment. Obviously, I don't go back in that neighborhood.
