At this point, not even other countries are safe. The spread of this shit is inevitable. After my divorce, honestly, I'd rather share my bed and cuddle while watching Hulu with a soulless machine programmed to love me. Companion androids can't develop and hit the markets fast enough.

Appreciated. Please talk some sense into them.

Perceived "value" doesn't even matter anymore, because modern western women think all men are trash regardless.

I'm done. Bring on the companion androids. After going through divorce, I'd rather share my bed with a soulless machine programmed to love me, than some shaking poodle woman who can't think without checking with social media first. Give me metal, circuits, and silicon rather than someone who I'd have to jump through endless flaming hoops to get the bare minimum affection from without thinking I'm some "inevitable sexist/assault waiting to happen".

Yeah, I don't get it either. Think it's time I left all social media again. Even spaces which claim to be "safe" really are just pandering, or eventually have too many restrictions on what's allowed and what's not, which results in frustrating and alienating more people. It's like we're all being forced to conform to some mindless, unquestioning, dejected, depressed, subservient existence on purpose. Then again, social media is created/run by all the 1% techno-feudalist overlords who just see th…

Just more brainwashed entitlement. Proof that they don't want equality, just a matriarchy and superiority.

Meh, see shit like this all the time here in California. After a while, I just see it as the trash taking itself out of my life for me.

At least you said "most" and not "all". IME, it's a combination of scorned/divorced men who are at various stages of grievance and/or healing, or men who are frustrated because they've never known love. I'm a middle-aged divorced father, so I tend to be more open-minded. Sure, I have my own grievances, but I've gone to therapy and generally always work to level up in other ways, and all my life I've resisted fully adopting any ideology.

I often turn to this line of reasoning as a 42-yo divorced father. Sure, I'll see plenty of interest from women, and it's gotten close a few times, but I often end up shutting myself down from pursuing, even avoiding. Because I value my peace. I value my hobbies and the return on investment. I value being a good father and working toward my own goals without someone constantly questioning and undermining or even belittling the way I do those things. And yes, because I don't want to risk everythi…

Not pandering at all, but sadly this end goal is often shit on in this modern world. Sure, as a man, I have my own grievances from my experiences, but yes - there's already enough suffering in the world. As a Millennial, I'd love to see peace and balance again akin to 20+ years ago.

Yeah, I totally get this, and I've experienced biased female therapists in my own past (and so has my ex, who was like a vulture whispering in her ear during our divorce for a sense of "vicarious justice"). I called mine out on it and requested a change. Even if it meant waiting 3 months for a new therapist, I'd sooner endure it on my own than be told I'm wrong and feel worse when I'm only trying to become whole again. A true therapist should always remain unbiased, and focus only on growth, rat…

This is why I justify going places like Bottom's Up Espresso in CA, Winghouse in FL, or Twin Peaks in TX. Too bad Hooters is going under. Sure, I'm paying for that attention and view, but I'd be paying either way. At least I get something extra positive for me while I'm paying. Better than a dating app or OF where you don't know if that's the person you're actually talking to. Better than enduring a shitty attitude from women anywhere else, on top of hateful music. EDIT: For any misandrists or t…

Or Bottom's Up Espresso if in CA.

Yup! This is it - the songwriters. Sure, the musicians are partially to blame, as they sell out and produce the music, making millions off everyone's suffering, not unlike divorce attorneys. She and other artists could have chosen not to do it, but they sold out, figuring money would protect them. The mental toll will win in the end, though. It's why so many in the entertainment industry end up blowing everything on drugs to escape reality.

Sadly, all we really can do at this point is what we're already doing. Either those who turncoat vote (which really, isn't a solution because politicians and the 1% don't really care about us), walk away, ignore women/disappear from society as much as possible, focus on ourselves to level up, leave the U.S., only date women from countries where they have healthier attitudes, and generally not to try correct or work with misandrists so they'll basically thin out over time, having only themselves …

I can see where you're both coming from, but it seems you're both getting caught up debating individual views/experiences, rather than it working for the masses or not. I totally believe that it hasn't worked for you, and probably worked for the other commenter. To offer my experience, I have been to therapy, and it roughly 75% worked. Different methods also work for different people. I absolutely can NOT do anti-depressants. They have the opposite effect. EMDR, however, really helped. Yes, it r…

I did find "Espresso" catchy when it first came out and figured it basically harmless. I mean, plenty of other "I'm playing the other gender" songs came out decades ago. However, yes, the misandrist shit needs to stop. Was bad enough 20 years ago when women were encouraged to trash a guy's property because of Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats". Isn't it bad enough they take almost everything in divorce? I speak from experience.

There's a great viral video from GB about a woman asking a man to surrender his seat. He asks if she's pregnant, and when she says no, then asks if she believes in equality and says yes, then he tells her to fuck off lol.

I don't give them ANY attention at all in public spaces. I ignore them the same as they'd ignore a man being polite. They simply don't exist to me. If they bump into me, I just ignore it and leave. No, not all women, just strangers I don't know in general, or women in my life who nag with feminist shit and generally lose equality points.

I'm just going to use their own words against them that they used against us: "You brought it on yourselves."

Online? Usually depends if there's a man making valid points already, then I bolster it. Otherwise, it's talking to a literal hen house of squawking. In person? Ignore. I ignore most women in general, being in California. No response is the best response. It both infuriates them for lack of validation, and doesn't provide them with more social media "proof" out of context at my expense.

It's called "coercion". Especially if the woman is in a higher position of power or blackmailing the man.

Just proof it's always been about gaslighting us, and distracting us from realizing they have far more privilege. They still use the now 50-year-old outdated argument about "marriage being slavery", when they've been able to divorce with increasing benefits since the 70s. It's because they want superiority, not equality. So long as they keep using strawman and other logical fallacy arguments, they think us men will think like them and keep falling for it with emotional manipulation. Lucky for us…

As if it's okay to them just because they share a rainbow flag /eyeroll. But logic forbid a gay man uses the d-word or c-word.
/r/MensRights09/02/26 07:08 PM

Yeah, that, and not having taken a Kinsey Scale test... so instead, they fantasize about gay men instead of asking themselves about their own sexuality.

"...just because they flick their beans to yaoi." XD!!!!! Holy shit, I cried laughing because it's so true. And so is the hypocrisy, sadly... "Purse dog" is how I felt with my masculine ex before I divorced her. Dunno how I'm still attracted to women... maybe I'm a masochist... I even have a safe-word... "sauerkraut".

I feel you, brother. And yes, brother. I'm only a 1 on the Kinsey Scale, used to be way more feminine, still implement several elements from the metrosexual era 20 years ago, comfortable with my sexuality, vote liberal/support equality, etc. So, I've practically always been "might as well be gay" to women and treated as such, just without the stigma of actually being in male-male relationships. Anyway, yeah, maybe 20 years ago women followed the trend of pretending to like gay men and even see t…

Yeah, I often wonder this too. As a man, I'd say while one side clearly and loudly hates us, both just see us as expendable. On the right, they pander with talk of positive masculinity, but it's always to be exploited later ("fight our wars!" "Spend your money!" "Real men ___!"). Women on the right are also better at pretending to like us, but in the end, exploit us as much as liberal women.

Because it denies them access to everything a man works hard to provide, then steal in divorce court. It's proof they, like bad men, just want control over people, instead of a truly egalitarian coexistence. I see it all the time here in California.

Yes, along with standardized testing and the pipeline to the privately owned prison industrial complex. I know this as a survivor of the 90s Ritalin era pushed on boys to conform to feminized educational norms. Thank fuck for sites like Khan Academy.

I can see where you're all coming from on this. As a 42-yo divorced man, 3rd wave/1990s feminism was fine. Because it was egalitarian with a focus on bringing women's rights/opportunities to equal. Female leads in movies were actually good. Modern media is all about Mary Sue female superiority and virtue-signaling while sacrificing quality writing, character depth/development, checking token quota boxes, and more heavily dependent on graphics. Modern 4th wave feminism (roughly 2017-now) is femal…

It's trendy. Period. Blame California. I've lived here for the last 12 years and see it for myself constantly. It gets really funny when the men hear it all, disappear to focus on ourselves, and then they cry about "where are all the men??" all over TiKTok when they can't get a date. It's because no matter how much they have, women will never be happy. Stability is inherently unstable for them. So, for excitement, they stir up drama. The more you ignore them and protect your peace, the more ment…

Yup - They don't want to admit that egalitarianism had mostly been achieved by the 90s. The feminization of education is probably the longest-standing example. The change was already well into motion. The only ones holding back that progress were Boomers who didn't want it to continue. Many more female leads were taking over entertainment media and actually good and fun to watch before the modern enshittification of Mary Sue virtue-signal media. These days, what we're seeing, is a push for femal…

Indeed, I'm well aware of those factors. I was, however, offering it's only one aspect in a much larger issue across several societal spectrums. The root issues, rather than the symptoms.

"The thing about civilization is it keeps you civil. Get rid of one, can't count on the other. People are tribal. The more settled things are, the bigger the tribes can be. Churn comes, and the tribes get small again." ~Amos Burton, The Expanse, S5E4 The other side of the coin is, when, as a man, you use the term "egalitarian" to a feminist, they treat it the same as "misogynist", and fire back with "why cant u be a feminist?? u hate wimen!!". That says everything about their use of logical fall…

It's just bird-brained parroted mentally lazy gaslighting rhetoric. Misandry kills slow from the inside. It steals money. It steal property. It denies custody and alienates fathers. It contributes to property damage. It contributes to homelessness. It destroys reputations, sometimes to the extent of affecting getting a job. It undermines in every way. It contributes to mental illness. It hurts more than men - they even attack other women out of jealousy or competition. Misandry does EVERYTHING s…
