I can totally relate. Hang in there. I just got on meds 15 months after separation. I tried to deal with all the loss on my own but it was getting so dark I had to waive the flag. My therapist early on told me it might take 2 to 3 years to finish grieving and feel normal again. I didn't believe her at the time but she was right, and there is no time line. DM if you want to talk. I am here for you.

Sleep on the couch tonight, buy an air mattress tomorrow and sleep there until you find a temporary apartment. She needs space right now and a strong man to give it to her. And she will show signs of wavering at some point this year, you stay strong and distant. She doesn't want a tickling puppy dog right now, she wants space to figure her shit out. It potentially has nothing to do with you even she declares divorce. Let her find herself, that is sexy, cool, and empathetic - otherwise my guess i…

And by giving her space and by you remaining distant but strong, she might eventually come back to you after getting a strong dose of reality and confronting herself and mid life crisis. Stay strong buddy, sounds like you're in for hell of a ride, but you will get…

5 months after separation. I found myself genuinely feeling grateful for her and praying she will always be happy and healthy. Then she calls me 20 minutes later and bitches me out about something money related. But it didn't bother me, she's a good girl and we're just not meant to be together in the next chapter of this short awesome life.

Been together for 12 years. Own a business together. She's a babe and a kind person. But last year we had been fighting. I couldn't yell any longer, there was no way she could understand my point of view, which I needed her to. Our final fight I got so angry that I honestly said to myself I'm divorcing her and I am going to the strip club and get laid, while also knowing she'd find out or I would eventually tell her. Textbook midlife crisis shit. I understand why I did it. It was very freudian. …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
