No, but it does give lie to the whole 'pussy pass' idea when the majority of people wiping young and old butts are female. Let me give you a like-for-like example though. We really do fundamentally disagree on this. My sister lives in Europe and she got maternity leave and her husband paternity leave when she had her kids. I did read your comment. In other countries people who step out of employment are compensated for caring for children and elderly relatives by the government. (They're saving the government money, so it's governmental self-interest). Then I remembered that this is the US and we still have 3rd world levels of parental leave, got depressed and made my comment more general. Your gratitude won't feed anyone.
