Getting my brain to unfog enough to explain why isnt working out lol. Just know that I wholeheartedly believe engaging in underage sex is always rape.

Forgive me and my day 7 COVID brain. I'll concede on this one. I think the distinction is important, but I guess overall it doesn't matter all that much.

It is important too btw. I guarantee there are more hebephiles than pedophiles. I don't like them being mixed together, as they are similar, but separate issues. Liking someone who is young but sexually mature is much different than a going after a literal child. Lumping it all into one thing makes us focus on one aspect more than the other. I feel like there is no where near enough attention on the hebephile portion. All murder is wrong, so should we not classifie 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree murde…

Did ya read past that part at all, cause I very much said why it being pleasurable still doesn't make it right...

Happy to see people are still unable to comprehend simple nuance!

K? Cause I think molestation is always wrong? Lmao

Please read the whole post before judgment! Lol They are right about the term being used wrongly here. Unless someone is a late bloomer, 14 is after puberty, therefore can't be pedophilia. Semantics, I know. Now the down voting part. I was molested at 10 yo by a 16 yo for the better part of a year. Luckily for me it didn't turn me into a broken thing. It's just something that happened. It's weird because of how wrong it is, but it was pleasurable too. It being pleasurable (hopefully redemption t…

That only work if it had audio or she very obviously saw them. Like maybe interacting with them. Think Ian Malcolm in jurassic Park.

This article sucked and was obviously not trustworthy. The post from the military guy yesterday was a much better representation than this. I'll have to see other sources to decide if I believe this one or not.

Maybe not the same punishment, but this lie can totally destroy someone. Rape takes a part of someone that they can never get back. Feeling safe, feeling in control, trust in people, trust in the justice system, mental health problems, virginity, and so on. It does horrible lasting damage. You can say a lot of the same for victims of false accusations. There will be a significant amount of people who will always wonder if the person actually rapped someone. Job loss, mental health disorders, los…

I gotta disagree with no one caring. I see a whole lot of people here that give a shit. Don't give up man. You got this. I noticed someone down there gave some in depth advice. I hope it leads you in the right direction. I've been accused too, but got lucky and wasn't reported to the police. I did lose access to my son though. We care. I care. Your friends care. Your family cares.

Yup. Who ever works less, needs to be doing more at home. Not to the point where that person is working and doing ALL the work at home though. A healthy relationship is a partnership too. We all need a little extra help.

You could have stopped after that first sentence. You went full asshole.

If ya making your lady do all the home stuff on top of a full time job, i would agree. That does still happen a lot. At least in the south where I live. I have a few thousand home sample size to make that claim. That being said, that's not every house hold. However, the fact still remains that most men work their asses off already, and we do tend to have less time on earth. I would also say that we have less good years because of how over worked we are I'm 31 and have dealt with degenerative dis…

Being totally honest here, I wouldn't give a shit. I'm a very large guy 6'6'' 370 pounds. I get in the way. I try my best not too, but when I do I'm apologetic about it. If someone is bumping into me? I ignore it. It happens, and I have zero right to get overly pissed about it. Especially in a cramp space.

That's fine, there is a right way to handle it though. She didn't handle it correctly.

As guys we need to do better about the "man up" shit. It may be built into us, but we need to do better with supporting each other. Even if it's punching your buddy in the shoulder and poking fun at him a little. Just follow it up with offers of an ear or help.

It's cool and all, but what the hell is the point in spending money on someone when you expect it in return? The snack thing works I guess. Maybe instead of him paying for lunch and you paying for dinner, get him next time. Idk.

Wtf man. I'm sorry. My ex was just emotionally abusive. I don't mind playful punches. We guys do it all the time, but if you're mad at me? You can fuck off. No reason for it.

What did I say that would make you think I was on the left?

The left has their reasons as to why the think the right is wrong, and same with the right. It's constant back and forth trying to get the best insult. It's stupid and unproductive. Real people see the nuance in things. People on the internet tear each other down every chance they get. You notice it never gets anyone anywhere?
/r/MensRights11/01/19 07:22 AM

Do you not see how the right treats the left? It's a shit show on both sides.

My roommates brother just had his ex wife's husband put a kid in the hospital. She now has her kids back. Yes they do get arrested for it, but most of the time they get their kids back one way or another. Edit: while I don't agree with you general assessment of this sub, reading things like that do make me take a step back. You can always word things differently of course, but it helps to keep people in check. (sometimes)

My father was abusive to my mom, but seems to have chilled out as he got older. I've never really forgiven him like you did your mom though. People can change. I was 100% more violent in my early teens to mid 20's. Just never hit my ex. So while I wasn't abusive, I was violent.

I also don't think she represents more than maybe a few thousand women.
/r/MensRights14/12/18 11:33 PM

I too have seen people die at work. I really wonder if women were dying at the same rate while at work, if we'd see some kind of movement. You already see the "1/4 homeless people are women" shit.
/r/MensRights14/12/18 11:32 PM

Seeing how it's never talked about...Yeah. I don't even think it's on their radar. Same with lack of homeless shelters for men.

You are absolutely right. We however, have evolved past the need to rely 100% on instinct. It's tough, but we need to realize this as a whole. I feel as a society we are getting n a comfortable place concerning gender roles. Women can do whatever, and even if looked down on, so can men. We just need to move everyone to a point where they can look at a stay at home dad and think it's an appropriate thing to do. There is a difference between being able to do something, and catching shit for doing …

Did you guys just ignore the whole " I'm anti circumcision" thing?
/r/MensRights02/12/18 10:41 AM

OK, I'm anti circumcision, but I still have loads of feeling. Let's try to avoid being hyperbolic. We know how much it impacts arguments when they over exaggerat facts to change shit. Let's not be like that.
/r/MensRights26/11/18 08:29 PM

Legally it's not though. I also don't think a naked human is immediately sexual.

They will also down vote you when you tell them something they don't want to hear.

/r/MensRights15/09/18 11:54 PM

Look up Jock Sturges if you want proof. Instead of using the down vote to try and win the argument, how about researching the issue. Loganblade14 this isn't directed towards you.

It's weird, but weird stuff is covered under art. There has been photographer's who have taken nude photos of kids. Male and female.

Don't force your kids to say ma'am to people who don't want to be called ma'am. Other than that, that teacher is a bitch.

Was about to comment the same thing. I can see an argument for "dethroning" rich people, but Middle class??? Wtf.

I have to point out that they are talking about size queens. I do agree that "size kings"... Idk just go with it... Would get bad press, but this is specifically about women who like big dongs. I'll see myself out. Lol

I need to find a damn lawyer, but that's waaaay out of my ability to pay. I'm not going to sit here and say I've done a perfect job pre or post divorce either. So I do worry if I could even settle it in court without getting destroyed even more. Only thing I got going for me is I was very very unabusive. I grew up seeing my mother treated like shit. I cheated once in our third year of marriage after she started to emotionally withdrawal. We got past it, but she was still distant. It felt like I …

I also worry he will pick up on her parents racism and religious extremism. These are the same parents who disowned her (for about a year) when she moved out and stopped going to church.

She took him to my home town last week, and my mom said she was a drag to be around. Her biggest excuse is that he has autism and new people/places is really hard him. Yet a 3 thousand mile trip on an airplane was just fine... I also found out about a month ago that she used the #metoo movement to claim I had rapped her several times. She didn't use my name directly, but after my mom called her out on it, she made it clear she was talking about me.

I was controlled by my ex wife using money and threats of suicide. Also isolated me from friends and family. I would have left far sooner if it wasn't for the suicide threats. She now has full control over my ability to see my boy, and it's been about two years since I last saw him.

I had a break down after my separation and loosing access to my son. I had just got a new job after loosing my pretty cushy IT job. I even had a lawyer provided for me from my boss. Anyway, after getting fired for performance, I got a shitty job at Lowes. Wasn't much, but I was working. One night after tooany drinks, I had a break down and had an ambulance called. My friend told them I was suicidal. I was, but I didn't tell anyone I was. This led to a three day stay at a facility. They didn't ca…

They aren't pedophiles. The kid was 16 so he's post puberty. I see it used incorrectly a lot. Ive had friends who have been in relationships that should be illegal, but age of consent says otherwise. So yes, I have looked into it. Thought I'd see one of my friends arrested lol. I think the correct term is hebephile.

It might be, but only until whatever field starts becoming popular among women. Sucks people have to put up with bullshit, however, there comes a time that you have to be a grown up. To quote a silly move "be the change".

It's no problem man, I was hoping to not come off as a butthead. I'm glad she is gone, and I can't wait till he gets old enough to want to see me. He has autism and that's one of her excuses for me not being able to see him. Hopefully he's as high functioning as I'm thinking he is. Who knows though, she doesn't really tell me anything anymore.

I can't agree with the therapist/medication argument. That's dangerous to tell someone who might be deppressed, deppresion is often a death sentence. I didn't have to take meds for very long, but they did help. I was pretty wrecked when my ex decided I don't get any custody rights. He's probably like you said just in a funk. So I don't disagree with most of what you said.

Ive had fantastic HR people throughout my working career. I even had one (female) go to bat for me on a very serious sexual harassment complaint filed against me. Not everyone in unpopular positions are worthless dirtbags.
