I'm sure a lot of American doctors are great people with only your well being and full recovery in mind. However, the American health system is internationally notorious for being absurdly overpriced and very ... gouge-y. Also American medicine has another ridiculous quirk that it shares with New Zealand, partially Canada and almost nowhere else. Medicine can be marketed to consumers. This is dumb, because consumers know nothing about medicine, the quirks of their personal physiology, and what's…

At time of writing, the other replies to your question seem to take the stance that depression is an ideological failing, or a philosophical error that gets you into a bad head space. While this could certainly be true for some people, (I am but a sample size of one) this was certainly not the case for me. I would go so far as to venture that thinking depression is a problem in mindset is an incredibly harmful idea for someone with my particular strain of depression. In my experience, depression…

That is some solid advice. I'll try that.

TheeRyanGrey, who are some of the people who broke out of your stereotypes? As a guy who is a walking stereotype, I'm pretty interested in what sets those people apart.

A similar incident happened to me at the age of 17. As part of a Shakespeare club, two weeks after the club's team building sleepover, my parents came home, deeply disturbed. Apparently they had been called into the school over (false) allegations that I had groped a female member of the club during the sleepover. Of course I burst into tears like a little bitch because this was the first moment of actual trouble in my life, and my parents thought I was the kind of person to actually do that. So…

You are the attitude with which red pill draws me in. An acceptance of our limitations, shortcomings and disadvantages, but a refusal to wallow in them. To move on and improve despite these things dragging us down and to become stronger because of the hardship we face. And above all else, aversion to a victim complex like the plague.

Mayhaps, I would venture, because we lack an understanding of the female mindset. We make conjecture and assumptions based on observations on TRP, but we can never go into that mind and feel the rawness of enhanced emotions, the hollowing hunger for social validation, the crippling terror of rejection and spiders, ETC. All we see are the vapid outside effects of the female condition. The free drinks, the pussy pass, the personal militia of white knights, ETC. We observe these, and observe that w…

I doubt it is a fear rooted in logic. My mind can clearly reason that I have nothing to lose and everything to gain, thus no reason to be worried, yet the problem persists. I feel it is something I just need to acclimatise my lizard brain to with some successes under my belt. Though I would petition that is unsureness in what to say. The moment passes too quickly for me to talk myself into it and come up with something to say.

Actually my life is pretty rocking right now. I considered what I could do to improve it, and hey talking to the opposite gender more than once a month seems like a good place to start.

Now those are some top tips.

Now, uh, by night you mean?...... I'm assuming you don't mean running around in the suburbs until I see a chick and then talking to them, but golly gosh what do I know.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
