I work in the oilfields so I work an insane amount of hours but I get 7 days off every two weeks so it's not bad. There's a lot you can do with 7 days. Don't have to work with women either.

Right now I'm saving about 15 percent of my yearly income and the rest is going towards paying off debt. I should be debt free in about 8 months. Then I can start saving half my income or more. As far as what I could live on after retirement, I'm hoping very little since I'll have no debt, no wife and no kids.

Actually one of my favorite shows. The goal is for a man and a woman to survive in a random wilderness naked for 21 days. On the last day they're supposed to go to an extraction point. It's pretty interesting but you can tell when certain things are "set up", like petty arguments. But overall I enjoy it.
