1	Alabama bill would criminalize false rape accusations I get that and that is a certain possibility, I don’t it will have that type of effect. The wording would make it hard to prove that intent on false accusations are there, and the system favors the accuser already. We have a hard enough time proving it’s false when there is no evidence. Both things allows for they said, them said stand still in the courts. During that time, the accused reputation is ripped apart in the media and is labeled as a rapist. 2	Alabama bill would criminalize false rape accusations I think you are missing the point. Both murder and burglary. If someone claims they have seen a murder but didn’t, or said they were robbed but was never; they would be less likely to state that they lied later on, because if they did they would go to jail or be in trouble. Look at people who have been wrongfully convicted of rape, some spend 10+ year in prison only in social media did their accusers say that it never happen. Thus setting them free.
