Have you ever divorced or negotiated anything? It's a starting off point for negotiations. She probably knows full well she's not gonna get it. Plus she's probably mad about the ashley madison account, thinking that what she found is probably just the tip of the iceberg. People hit back anyway they can when they've been hurt.

Exactly right. Not your secret and not your burden, so stop carrying it. Kids deserve to be respected with the truth (age appropriate if small). They'll handle your truth better than mom's lies by omission.
