Honestly, I'm not. Today sucked, and I was also reminded of how some women I used to know are living way better lives than I am, professionally successful and with a full social life. Stuff I unfortunately can't even hope for. If I was a better person I'd have some fraction of what they have, but I could never be them. It sucks to be a failure.

Exactly. The real divide is class and socioeconomics. But the wealthy elites controlling mainstream media knowingly try to divide people by sex, race, or other arbitrary qualities instead.

Some journalists are just as miserable as Redditors lol. I don't like small talk on public transportation, but I like that others are happy enough to do it. Personally I can just use my words and say "I'd rather rest during this ride, but thank you."

Same, I used to do that as well. I'll still give people their personal space, except when passing them, but life has been bad enough for me, for long enough, that I can only really worry about my own comfort.

The mods there are terrible. I'm sorry.

A lot like homophobia, these are the exact same arguments that used to be used against black people in mainstream media, and are still used on fringe internet media

This answer goes for most questions about social issues

Same here. Unfortunately lots of people, maybe the vast majority, have lived and died in the unsung in-between eras of social history. Life really sucks.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
