I agree to a point, but we grew up with the whole “not tonight, I have a headache” trope of women not wanting sex.

Exactly. As women, we’ve been conditioned to think that men always want sex, so to be turned down by a man means that there is something very wrong with you as a woman. It’s a huge self esteem blow.

5 vs. 5. I’m sad that I didn’t have a wild 20s and instead got married early. The last four didn’t happen until after my marriage ended.

Yes, I’d argue that women usually lose a lot more.

Well, with the more restrictive laws in the U.S., can you blame them?

Seriously? I didn’t want to have kids until after 30. Had my one and only at 34, no problem.

I know, it was a terrible generalization, I apologize.

I think many of us women know the pestering quite well! 😉

I know, I’m generalizing!! I should say many men, or it least it seems to me.

Men have unbelievable confidence while women generally don’t, which probably explains why we women aren’t confident enough to go after a very objectively attractive man.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
