These things are already taught. In fact it often goes too far and any hitting even in self defense is taught as being bad. Most people follow these rules. The problem is that some people don't follow the rules, and teaching them has no effect. The implication here is that every male is some barely controlled psychopath who will attack anyone given the opportunity. Nothing could be further from the truth. Men are actually instinctual protectors, just ask almost any man if he would lay down his l…

If I had a choice I would choose not to work, probably most people would. But in most countries its a recipe for disaster if you ever get divorced. The working partner ends up loosing most of what they have earned and may be required to pay support.

That's strange, I can see the post from yesterday (19th). Maybe it depends where you are viewing the page from. Sorry I couldn't work out how to link directly to the post in question.

How do they know the PA allegations are false? It could be the domestic violence allegations that are false

Unfortunately the authorities are often reluctant to take action against those who make false claims and play the victim. These people are often very good actors and good at persuading people they are telling the truth. These people need to be prosecuted as they are doing real damage to real victims.

You need evidence or the police cant do anything. Get a body camera or camera glasses, record any conversations and phone calls.

The man's choice is made when he chooses to have sex. It is well known that no contraception method is 100% effective. By choosing to have sex you choose to accept any consequences.

Your not going to do well in a gender studies course if you are going to use logic and actual data. You are supposed to stick to the script, men bad, women good.

A classic Narcissist. He is lucky that he doesn't live in Australia. Women like this usually get away with it here. The family courts here are clogged by cases like this.

At least your situation has unmasked the people around you. Most people are shit, they just pretend to be nice. I have had something similar happen to me, its very eye opening.

This sounds a lot like what happened to me. I figured it all out too late, I ended up loosing almost everything and haven't seem my kids for 2 years. I'm in Australia, I believe that we have a similar anti male family court system. Look up narcissists and parental alienation. Narcissists will often pretend to be a victim, they are very good at convincing others that you are an evil abuser. I was accused of abuse, rape, child abuse, almost anything you can think of. Non of it is true, but it lead…

Patriarchy enforcement officer here. Cut out all this talk of men having emotions. You have been warned.

In Australia you will get at least 50% of the joint assets. She may get into a lot of trouble if she makes off with the cash. You cant spend it until the financial settlement is finalised by the court. If she does spend it she will have to pay you back from her future earnings. Get a lawyer ASAP, shop around a bit, some charge much more than others. As you are on a pension you may be entitled to legal aid. You may like to contact the bank and let them know that you are in the process of divorcin…

Narcissists pretend to be nice people, but they are lying. They can keep it up for years. One way to tell if a partner is a narc is if they are too nice, and like everything you like. This is called mirroring.

She was probably hiding it from you. Narcissists are good at conning people. I was married to a covert narc too. With hindsight there were subtle things that pointed to her true nature, that I just ignored as odd traits. My take away is that you should pay attention to small problems as they may be actual glimpses of their true nature. If they cant admit that they may be wrong run.

Women have definitely been discriminated against in the past. In some countries they still are. Trying to deny this is just lying and disingenuous. The point is that there are no discriminatory laws now in many countries. In fact there are laws that make discrimination illegal in many places.

I'm not in the US. I have ended up with 0% custody after a 5 year legal battle that ended up with parental alienation. I started with about 30% custody. No alimony, but she ended up with more of the assets because she chose to stay home.

Its kind of an unwritten rule of a marriage though isn't it. A lot of marriages end because of lack of sex.

My ex unilaterally decided that she was going to stop working and stay at home with the kids. Once they reached school age she decided that they would be homed schooled. I got no input into this. I know I could have strongly objected, but I didn't want to get divorced and loose my home and kids. That happened later anyway when I lost my job and couldn't afford to pay for her. I was penalized financially because she just decided to not work. It seems to be unfair to me. If you give up work becaus…

I (57m) used to be a feminist, but no longer am. What used to be about equal rights has now become a hate group. Saying you are a feminist now is a bit like saying you are a Nazi. I believe in radical equality. For example all team sports should be 50/50 male and female, with appropriate rule changes to prevent injuries. I'm also against different job criteria for different sexes. If you want to be in the special forces you need to pass the physical requirements no matter what sex you are.

They are damaged people who need to blame all their problems on others. Possibly they have personality disorders. They used to blame "society", now its more fashionable to blame the "patriarchy"

The best thing to do is say nothing except "I didn't do it" especially to the police. Where people get themselves in trouble is in trying to explain what happened and trying to "prove" themselves innocent. They often say things that can be taken out of context and used against them. Say nothing then it is up to the accuser to prove the crime.
