I think this is what you're referring to, right? https://dontmarry.wordpress.com/

My friend is in this situation. Apparently he still wants to get married this year, so as soon as the registry office opens again, he will go and join the waiting list. He saw the hell I went through with my divorce, and I warned him with all my heart not to get married. He still bought the £10k rock and proposed on a sunny French vineyard tour. If he dies, he dies.

My wife didn't even bother to wait until our extension was done. Then expected me to fund the rest of it before we sold it. Obviously that wasn't happening, so it ended up losing us about twenty to thirty thousand on the sale price according to the real estate agents.

I wonder when will men receive food stamps to fund the extra 25% of calories we need to survive on a daily basis.

Multiply every number by 10 and you're getting closer to the truth.

Wow. I am so sorry. All I can do is tell you something that helped me through my divorce... put one foot in front of the other. You will reach times when you feel so low that you can't see the point in doing anything. Or that you have so long to go that nothing makes a difference. All you can do is have faith that things will get better, and remember that your job is to put one foot in front of the other. One day, you will look back at this as a distant memory, from a happier place. I wish you a…

Chernobyl was supposed to be historically accurate, and yet the strong independent wamyn character was totally made up. They say it right at the end in fact. There was a team of scientists, and she was meant to embody the spirit of all of them or some crap.

This is a common misconception about England. De facto relationships / common law marriage don't exist here, so she wouldn't be entitled to a penny... unless they were married. Scotland does have this, however, and a cohabiting partner can take the other one to court for money after they break up. There is currently a proposed law in the House of Lords in England trying to make that law here as well.

The older I get, the more this seems like a great idea. Having money in old age doesn't provide any benefit... unless you have simply enormous amounts. Here in the UK, you can absolutely bust your ass off and save for your retirement... or not do any work or save and the government will still top you up to the required level. It's the same with care homes. If you have money, the government forces you to pay for you own care... whereas if you have nothing, they pay for you. And 90% of the time, y…

I dread to think. My divorce alone cost me over £100k... and we were only married for two and a half years before I found out she had an affair.

Just FYI, you might actually need that marriage certificate for the divorce process... I had to order a copy to be made.

My ex has BPD. It's all on me, really. I knew that she wasn't right as soon as we got together... but I was weak and vulnerable after a horrible divorce. She definitely sensed the weakness and preyed upon it. I was either the most wonderful person, who she was so in love with, or I was a total piece of shit that was the worst person she had ever met. Sometimes it seemed like she got moments of clarity... and was like "sometimes I don't know what's wrong with me. I just mess everything up." But a…

Well done. My last girlfriend was borderline as well, and it completely destroyed me. It messes with your mind so much that you think that you can't survive without them, and they are the only thing keeping you alive. However, when you look back, you realise that they were the ones holding you down. Within eight months of knowing her... - I was using Class A drugs (she didn't want to do it alone). - I had started therapy because I felt so terrible all the time (she convinced me that I needed it)…

My sister tried to set me up with a girl once. To try and sweeten the deal, she said "she always has sex on the first date 😁". Women know that most guys will be won over and ignore all of their criteria at the whiff of pussy. When you become red pill, however, you can read between the lines... this girl had likely been pumped and dumped by Chads for several years.

Sorry for the long reply, but I felt compelled to say this. I see a lot of parallels with myself in your story. My ex-wife treated me like her walking cash machine, cheated and made off like a bandit in the divorce. My next girlfriend was a borderline personality disorder nightmare. Luckily I didn't let it get as far as you and dumped her after I found incriminating evidence on her phone. If you're anything like me, you're a nice guy who treats people with respect, and hopes to get the same cour…

If she isn't giving you sex whenever you want and initiating it sometimes, she has lost attraction to you and will cheat, leave you or both.

My lawyer's parting words for me after my divorce were telling me to get a pre-nup next time. I told her that I wasn't going to get married again. Her response... "That's what all of my newly divorced clients say. Just remember my words." Scary stuff.

Please don't do it bro. Marriage is not to your advantage. Find any excuse to get out, or at least to get a pre nup. Pull the original Brad Pitt: "I won't get married in protest until all citizens around the world are free to marry, including gays" . Your parents will disinherit you if you don't get a pre nup. Anything. Just please don't do it. I was down well over £100k from just two and a half years of marriage after being cuckolded and left.

And let's not forget that they can change the contract at any time in the future, and it applies retrospectively. Think of all the guys who signed a marriage contract, only for it to be changed to a no fault divorce law with nothing they could do about it.

I remember arriving home from a business trip across the Atlantic at 10am on a Saturday morning, having been up working since the Friday morning and then taking an overnight plane back. I came through the door, expecting at least a little gratitude and love for the effort I was making to keep the roof over our heads. Instead, I heard a sobbing sound. My wife was hunched over the toilet bowl, feeling sorry for herself after getting insanely drunk at a club the night before. The house was a comple…

True. I lived in a studio flat with my girlfriend while I was at uni. She had mind numbing reality TV on full volume constantly, while I had to practice guitar in the kitchen and study for my finals with noise cancelling headphones on. I was a real blue piller, but getting cucked red pilled me fast.

Holy hell, what a tragic upbringing. Well done for escaping that toxic environment and making something of your life. It makes me angry that the welfare state has robbed these communities of their fathers, and has created an army of single mothers. I totally agree that the black community has been the canary down the coalmine on this; the rest of the western world is only just catching up to them now. If you create the financial incentives (even with the best intentions in the world) the scroung…

For the average jobsworth, I couldn't agree more. It seems like a fast path to a more secure job. However, for the "rising stars" in companies (extremely competent employees who get promoted very rapidly) I don't think this would necessarily be a good thing. In the short(ish) term, irreplaceable = unpromotable. If they promote the software guy, everything is going to grind to a halt while they have to train a replacement. Then again, I'm sure a rising star would still see this as an opportunity,…

Just never contact her again. Don't text back and don't answer her calls. Women are rarely very pushy at such an early stage, unless you've found a crazy. She may text/call you a couple of times, but she'll get the message quickly if you don't reply.

If you want to see male hamstering, just listen to a blue pilled man in a club. They will say almost anything to avoid having to approach a woman. "I hate party girls / I don't do one night stands." "It's better to seem aloof rather than try-hard." [cue not making any approaches all night] "Let's just get drunk and see what happens." [hint: nothing happens] "I'll talk to her later when it heats up a bit." [later it becomes a sausage fest and some other guy moves in] "Let's check out the dance fl…

I went to a school of 70-80% girls It's a shame you didn't discover TRP a little bit earlier. Still, knowing that you missed that opportunity might well spurn you to become the very best you can be. It seems that a large number of top PUAs have a similar "I was hopeless with girls at college" story, which gave them the drive to work at it and succeed.

I think that frame is also about your image. Don't try to be something you aren't, but try to be the best/most alpha version of yourself possible. Coming across as uncomfortable in your own skin is a form of breaking frame. For example, nobody respects "wiggers", or older people who try and stay up to date with teen-speak. Like you said, a felon or a businessman can both be alpha in their own ways, but you won't see either breaking frame to try and be something they aren't. An alpha businessman …

If hes dating a chick 8 years older than him and he didn't smash the first date, tell me how he is alpha. Good point. I guess he was shooting fish in a barrel, and was pleased that he grazed one (rather than being disappointed he missed a sure thing).

He accidentally aloofed her, that's all. That's what I suspected. He didn't get rejected and so passed his "move" off as a success.

It sounds like a damned robotic negotiation. "beep, beep. do not touch me. Beep, beep, statement accepted." Lmao! I think a lot of men are so desperate to please women, they obey them blindly, despite the fact that women are often sub-communicating the opposite. Thanks for the detailed reply, lots of golden responses in there!
