Am I being an orbiter here?Alright, thanks. If she says no, do I respond or just ignore? | /r/askTRP | 12/12/18 04:18 PM
Am I being an orbiter here?I don't even know if she's attracted though. I've just began lifting and shit. | /r/askTRP | 12/12/18 04:14 PM
Am I being an orbiter here? Why? I don't really know her that well, and she might find that weird? | /r/askTRP | 12/12/18 04:03 PM
I go to an exclusive private school, and I have low status because I'm poorWhy not? | /r/askTRP | 14/10/18 02:52 PM
I go to an exclusive private school, and I have low status because I'm poorPolitical science, then law school. I want to be a politician. The thing about top schools is that if your income is below a certain threshold (which mine is) and you get in, you get a full ride. So my only concern as of now is getting in. | /r/askTRP | 14/10/18 02:49 PM
I go to an exclusive private school, and I have low status because I'm poorHeres how I see it: if I have their respect, I can get leadership positions- since they're elected, I need their respect to win. If I get leadership positions, it looks good on college applications, and I'm more likely to get into a good college. If I don't have their respect, I won't get leadership positions. If I don't get leadership positions, I'm less likely to get into a good college. And going to a good college does matter. | /r/askTRP | 14/10/18 02:33 PM
I go to an exclusive private school, and I have low status because I'm poorYou're right, but when I think of it, none of them are particularly respected either except for one girl. | /r/askTRP | 14/10/18 02:29 PM
I go to an exclusive private school, and I have low status because I'm poorNone of the academic scholarship kids are popular rhough, even the good looking, jacked ones. So either people do care, or every academic scholarship kid cares about other people caring. | /r/askTRP | 14/10/18 03:54 AM
I go to an exclusive private school, and I have low status because I'm poorGrades mean shit in life Yeah, so does biology and geometry. I want to go into government/politics, so those two are useless. In the other hand, I actually try to learn in history. | /r/askTRP | 14/10/18 02:20 AM
I go to an exclusive private school, and I have low status because I'm poorI don't see why studying and having fun are mutually exclusive. So far, I have straight As and haven't studied for a single test. It'll probably get harder, but there are plenty of seniors who party and have fun while still making good grades and party a lot. Take, for example the debate team captain. Besides debate, he's a scholarship fencer, has a hot gf, and according to his snapchat parties or hangs out every friday. | /r/askTRP | 14/10/18 02:12 AM
I go to an exclusive private school, and I have low status because I'm poorI know it might seem like it's for validation, but I want to be respected cause it helps my ambitions: if I'm to become debate captain or newspaper editor, I need their respect. But you are correct, nonchalance helps. So you're suggesting stuff outside school. If it's to have cool experiences, most jobs are off the table. What do you mean by Meetup group? Any particular suggestions? | /r/askTRP | 13/10/18 10:17 PM
I go to an exclusive private school, and I have low status because I'm poorHaha, I wish. But I got in through book smarts, and this is all social intelligence. Besides, even with book smarts, my school is notoriously hard and strict: you have to maintain a 3.5 unweighted GPA and participate (and when I mean participate, I mean actually participate) in at least one academic/intellectual club- debate, language clubs, math clubs, chess, robotics, et cetera. | /r/askTRP | 13/10/18 07:06 PM
I go to an exclusive private school, and I have low status because I'm poorIt's a bit about popularity, but more about respect. I respect myself, I think of myself as someone who should be a leader- I was at my old school, and I did well. But the social Dynamics are different here, and if I want leadership positions (debate captain, newspaper editor) I need their respect. | /r/askTRP | 13/10/18 05:36 PM
I go to an exclusive private school, and I have low status because I'm poorOkay, I'll try to start clubs/be a leader in those I'm already in. | /r/askTRP | 13/10/18 05:31 PM
I go to an exclusive private school, and I have low status because I'm poorTake them down how? And why? And in 'starting shit', would you suggest starting my own clubs rather than joining pre-existing clubs? | /r/askTRP | 13/10/18 05:24 PM
