Thank you for this! This honestly felt like my mom talking to me and it has been a while since I felt like that! My mom used to say ‘that we were met that special’ when it came to overthinking and ‘rating’ others! 😊❤️

I’m 23 years old and yeah, because I was the protector for my family as we had an absent father, I took those roles. Everyone always said that I was trans for doing more masculine things

I have no advice but to take your body’s signals! You are creating a new life and that is really hard. Please don’t be too hard on yourself! And ofcourse I will pray for you! And I’m really happy for you!

Thank you so much for your time and energy. It is really good to hear it from your pov as well! I’ll definitely pray about it!

Indeed, we are waiting until marriage both for religious reasons! He is genuinely a great man and we do share the same values, just from another pov. Except God. He is also really serious and wants only to date if it could lead to marriage.

Thank you so much for your input! I’m definitely not a passive Christian, I go to church every week, bible study in a group each Wednesday, bible study for myself every day and praying always. So you’re right that he won’t be part of a big part of my life. Thank you so much for your time and energy you put into this message!

No I don’t either, for me believe in God is the most important thing, for me church is a framework to grow closer to god and others who believe. There is one heaven for all I always like to say!

Yes, you word this entirely correctly! I have had suic*de attempts as well (I was raised an atheist) and God has helped me through my depressions and attempts. That is also why I started doubting. I want my children to know Jesus and God and that they are loved unconditionally by not only their parents but God as well! Hearing you talking about scripture makes me realize how much miss that! Thank you so much for your time and your reply!

Thank you so much! I’ll definitely think about it! This is really nice to hear! I like ‘small’ dates the most, just going for a walk together and get to know each other. I only want to seriously date someone I can see myself getting married to and settling down with so the comment about nesting is really important to me! Thank you again for your input! I can’t wait for that mundane life actually! I love cleaning and keeping my house tidy and stuff like that! It’s what I feel most fulfilled by!

Thank you for your words! Indeed, that was also what I was thinking about! He wants our future kids to be raised in both cultures and I don’t know how I feel about that. It definitely would be hard. Thanks for your input, I’m definitely going to take it to heart!

Thank you for your wise words! I will definitely take it into consideration! Good to hear about their marriage!

I do take my religion seriously which is why I have the discomfort. I definitely think you have a point when it comes to our future! That is also what made me think. I want to raise my children as Christians and he wants them to be raised interculturally…thank you for your message because I was really feeling like I was a bad person for doubting this relationship for this reason but you’ve taken my doubt away about that!

Thank you for your input! I really like the idea of seeing it as a job interview and showing the skills I have! Thanks!

I understand how you feel! If it is really important to you I always think that bringing a message in the ‘I’ way is most important! So instead of saying ‘you never walk on the right side’ you could address the issue like ‘I feel like it is important to me to walk on the other side’. I hope this helps!

This sounds really unfair. If you work do the chores and help pay the bills, you are doing much more than your boyfriend. I understand it is really hard but maybe you should have a healthy discussion about this, possibly with a mediator/priest/godly person. I would say, look at what you would want your relationship to look like and take that up with him!

That sounds amazing! It is nice to hear that you have a good connection to your mother in law! I still have to meet mine so I’m anxious but she raised a beautiful son so I think it’s going to be okay!

Hahhahaha then it’s even more impressive! I’m happy that you now can cook him anything, I’m sure he appreciates that as well!

It definitely is a worry. I was raised by a homemaker and society kept telling me het choice was wrong to the point I stopped wanting to be a homemaker myself, though that’s what I wanted. But now I’m an adult I came back to my original plan and I love that choice! Being raised by an amazing women as my mom definitely helped me to become more traditional in the long run!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
