Yes she was. But the layoffs are not last-in-first-out, nor are they based on performance. Layoff is a role elimination, as opposed to firing, which is evicting a seat at the role so someone better suited can fill it. Therefore layoffs are more about what the business does/doesn't want to pursue anymore, rather than who is the best to work on whatever they do wanna pursue.

Society is much more than just marriages and kids. You can still live in society without ever getting married or having kids. Women do have privileges in marriages, divorce courts and child custody. And that's why men shouldn't get married. If a woman thinks it's painful and risky to give birth, then she shouldn't have a baby.
