I also feel like women stay because we are taught to value having a boyfriend / husband. It’s funny because when men are ready to be done they will walk tf away!!! Similar to that post floating around Twitter when that girl said when she gets in a relationship she basically doesn’t tend to her friendships and a MAN had to tell her don’t do that, because men sure as hell don’t. I wish more women were as selfish as men! One thing a man gon do is put himself first. We can learn that from them 😂

My sister asked in the group chat with my female cousins what they cooked for dinner on Sunday. One of my cousins said I don’t cook, my bf does, and she listed what he cooked. I was thinking “yessss cousin!” I will NEVER be the cooking anything, and I don’t want to be. My man will cook 90% of the time. I strongly dislike moody people. I’m also the type of person to communicate how I feel sooner rather than later. This lady could have reason to be like this, but she appears passive aggressive and very non confrontational. I had a female friend like that, and her bf is the opposite. She had all of these issues with him. and would wait MONTHS and YEARS to address her problems. Your partner shouldn’t have to pull teeth to know what’s wrong with you, and you can’t get mad at your partner for thinki…

I’ve been thinking about this a lot. I don’t think a lot of women have truly experienced financial independence. Not because they are relying on men to take care of them, but because a lot of women are either in long term relationships from late teens/early 20’s, or jump from relationship to relationship so a man is essentially always there to help out whether it’s with rent, lunch, dinner, gas, clothes, vacations etc. Its freeing AF to be able to 100% take care of yourself, and afford everythin…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
