Second, if your work offers a qualified plan like a 401k then they can't offer a SEP ira as well (which is meant for small businesses anyways). Normally this is correct but this election is different. First of all 2016 saw 8.2 million mail votes and this election has seen 97 million mail votes. So it is entirely possible that it takes more time to count those votes. And we're assuming neither side asks for a recount like 2000 or shenanigans happen.
