I read it was always common for a married man to cheat on his wife once she had a child because she was no longer seen as a sexual being. That was prior to westernization and common place. 1	The sexual revolution was a failed experiment Not just that, imagine losing 50% of the workforce. Theres a reason the American economy boomed so rapidly after the war. There was no such thing as leisure time unless you were born rich. Men were working almost every day a week all day.
