There were some real gems in the anecdote posts though. Guys presented with a practical scenario and asked how to best approach it

Thought I’d add this here as well I’m 21 and since I’ve been working for this company , I’ve been working and training alongside some crazy good lead gen/closers . Some of these people make 20-30k a week regularly. Many of which have no college degree and are around my age as well. Crazy industry

Look into solar sales companies. Especially smaller ones. It’s all commission based so people there are not only self driven, but they’re mostly people oriented to be entrepreneurs. People good at it make crazy money and you’ll be instantly connected to a decent network of very hard working and successful people.

You have an advantage , so internalize that and use it to fuel your ego (in a healthy way, not narcissistic of course) With that in mind , you still will need to expand your comfort zone. Start with small steps , it could be something as simple as approaching a girl to ask for directions, then build from there.

Look at it this way: Revealing your N-Count isn’t going to help anything. It will either do nothing or make her think less of you. This is why the mystery response is the best default

Wanted to add this as well - make sure you get involved on campus with an organization (club, frat, etc). People who don’t, typically end up regretting it later down the road

I’m with you on that. Over 50% of CS undergrads in my school are sweaty incels. This where the “be on your grind and purpose” comes in so you don’t end up like that

CS is perfect for self starters. Especially given that tech is only going to grow. I’ve built so many automation tools for my own business that I’d otherwise need to hire labor for Also, really any degree will leave you to being a bitch (beta bux as you put it) if you enter the workforce as an employee.

I don’t really make assumptions on what others know about me. We’re in college so hookup culture is kind of a given, plus if she wanted to know any of that stuff she could just ask a mutual friend. Either way I’m not sure what the point is you’re trying to make

Yeah like the other guy said it’s not one size fits all. I’m not gonna directly message my conservative/Christian (well at least she’s supposed to be) plate to come over and fuck because that’s not something that’ll settle well for her conscious. The “Giving her a reason” strategy is reliable tho

Things just kinda escalated.” “

If you’re ego investment is “I’ve been through tough times and know how to persist” vs. “I am better than others and as such I always succeed others/outperform” - this is the distinction they’re trying to point out imo

I ended up plating one of my housemates last year in college , one of our mutual housemates (who was her friend as well) apparently hated me, which was complete news to me Turned out she was just really bitter and angry (and she apparently was into me as well)

Yeah that’s honestly the worst thing I’m currently facing. I can be pretty opinionated at times but sometimes I forget that I’m just digging myself a hole when I try to have discussions about politics or social issues And I’ve definitely been meaning to check that book out too , thanks

The thing is , I used to think exactly that way not too long ago. Most of it was rooted from feminist indoctrination, but that’s just my personal experience. Some of these guys I argue with are younger and have less experience with women, but still are persistent on my views being misogynistic. A large side of me wants to red pill them but we all know it’s something that can only be done on your own

Yes . However in this sub not many will emphasize the importance of abundance for male friendships because most are too focused on the ‘ass chasing’ side of TRP You’re much more likely to tolerate disrespect from your friends if you have low abundance. Higher abundance is power - applies to relationships, business, etc.

OMAD is definitely a viable method for dieting , don’t listen to the people who are unfamiliar with it. You’ll typically want to start with intermittent fasting and then work your way into OMAD - you can start off with a 16:8 fast to slowly adjust yourself and become fat adapted Will you lose muscle mass? Not if you eat enough calories and keep lifting. Ensure you get enough protein each day.

I’ve been on both sides of the aisle. When I first started seriously smoking it became a problem and I would just end up being lazy. Gained almost 20 lbs. I then cleaned up over the summer and got on a new diet/workout , and lost all the weight and put on some lean mass. I still smoke , but I use it to help achieve the goals I have - like eating enough calories every day. Fellow Greek here Take her to your date party, and focus on showing her that you know how to have a good time. Vibe with your bros as much as possible , dance , drink , have fun. Girls find it attractive when you’re more oriented around having a fun time with your bros rather than just showering your date with attention. Outcome independence.

Nowadays It seems “Christian” is moreso a label used to falsify virtue, rather than an actual belief set. I’d be careful in case you’re going to be vetting girls on the basis of religious affiliation.

Like many mentioned it has to do with the environment they grew up in. But with that being said I do think white girls tend to be a little more entitled (in my experience atleast). Mainly because simps in the west like to pedestalize the white girl archetype (think blonde white girls) - it seems to be the most common preference among western men

I had the exact same experience as you - became traumatized at a young age and basically grew up never utilizing anger (or really any strong emotion) as an agency to my benefit. First off, I think it’s important to differentiate being assertive vs being angry. The former is usually preferred, but anger I think should be a last resort. With that being said, I think the best thing to do is change your mindset first, and implement it in your everyday life. For example if you go to the store and get…

I’m currently going for my CS bachelors . Honestly from what I’ve learned talking to graduates from my school, you can get your foot in the tech industry without having a bachelors degree in the field. Many of the companies just want to see that you simply have ‘some bachelor degree’’, which you have already. As for the actual programming/CS knowledge , you could go to a CC and quickly learn that for cheap, or just self teach ( to be honest programming is mostly self taught in my experience anyw…

My ‘aha’ moment was on an acid trip. Had a close female friend(no intimate attachment, just platonic) with me who was trip sitting, and at this point I had already read some basic RP principles. Long story short, since I implemented the concept of frame in my interactions with her, I started to realize she was actually attracted to me and the idea of me seeing other girls bothered her when I started to read her. Pair this type of knowledge with a psychedelic like acid and it became very easy to …

To put your faith into perspective , one of my plates in college rn is a “devout Christian”. Born and raised, went to a private Christian HS, the whole deal. She doesn’t seem to care that I’m not a Christian , however. And I also find it funny that once we started seeing each other all those values and virtue she held onto completely dissipated.

Damn you didn’t gotta do him in like that !!
/r/askTRP06/09/20 05:29 AM

Rightfully so, though . Getting laid as a man vs getting laid as a woman is a whole different ballpark. Woman are the gatekeepers of sex, after all. Like the guy above was saying, even with all this being said the gap is definitely narrowing, and woman are still able to get intimacy on demand especially with all these dating apps - so it does make sense in the modern context that woman are more likely than ever before to capitalize on that hypergamy.

If you want to “get into the party crew” , Fraternities/Clubs are your best bet. As for lasting friendships , people who join fraternities typically report that those connections they made last even after college. You need a “tribe”, and for most dudes their fraternity provides that. That’s so true. That’s why when I hear people , especially in college , emphasize consent and the sentiments of the metoo movement so heavily, I get kinda flustered. A good majority of guys are willing to neglect the idea of leading the woman , in favor of whatever the feminist narrative is promoting.

No. The natural paradigm being that men (also any people in general) are social beings by nature and will ultimately desire basic human interaction - including things such as intimacy and company However , the economic stakes of marriage for a man are definitely a good reason to stray away from marriage

Very interesting . “Not fully committing yourself to anyone except yourself” is a very empowering mindset. I guess I’m a little thrown off right now, because I coulda sworn the author of the “red pill bible” wrote that he married in his later years - I think this is worth noting here because many guys around here will swear by this book’s principles. I think it’s more important to explain on a deeper level why this concept of self improvement works in the first place - because a lot of guys hear these “self improvement” responses but don’t really understand the mechanisms behind it or how that would ever help fix certain problems they’re currently facing in the first place. When you improve yourself, you are manifesting confidence into certain areas into your life, which has a trickle affect expanding usually into many other areas as well, (…

You see, this isn’t entirely true I found that Snapchat is perfect for spontaneous type stuff.
