I also went through this with my husband. I broke my foot last year, and realized then that he didn't give a f about me. He let my hamsters starve to death and refused to do laundry for 3 full weeks before I finally hobbled up and down the stairs so I'd have something clean to wear to my Dr appointment! We are getting divorced now
Yeah I'm kind of thinking the therapists might be a little wrong with that advice cuz all it did is make me look lazy! And yes, my therapist told me to do it lolol
Thank you for this... My ex neglected me for so long I ended up having an emotional affair with a guy online. I feel horrible and he constantly blames me for it, says it's my fault alone that our marriage crumbled. I don't like that I resorted to that behavior. Your comment helps a tiny bit.
My ex used to always tell me he wanted a "sweet" girl and that I was too much of a bitch. I now know it meant he wanted someone to shut up and do what he tells them without question
My ex convinced me to do anal a few times and I would grin and bear it. It didn't hurt necessarily but now I realize I was just doing it to make him happy. Much like all the shitty sex I endured as well.
