Like let’s say a high sex drive guy can be best friends with an asexual woman because sex doesn’t matter in a friendship however that’d be a deal breaker in a relationship. To me sex does not bring any sense of physical or emotional closeness. If anything I find sex uncomfortable, sticky and tiring.
